I just got these in the mail today. Thanks for demonstrating as I had NO idea of exactly how they work. I'd hope the "instructions" included would have been more detailed.
Thanks for this great video. Need get those adapters! But I do get a lot of the spots using the pen that comes with the Joy. Any idea how to get rid of that? Adjusting the pressure also doesn't help 😭
Sometimes it’s the mat bending or not being sticky enough other times it’s just a cruddy pen. Try writing a bunch with it in different directions on some paper without using the machine. That should help you see if it’s the pen or maybe the mat
@Corinne Blackstone thanks much! It was mainly where the machine was starting and stopping to write so you see all the spots. I wonder how to get it to just write in one smooth stroke! Let me go try your suggestion and also try other fonts. Maybe they don't start and stop so much for some fonts!
It’s nice that you are working with the Joy. I’m struggling with both my machines, so they are just sitting on my sewing table
My project keeps becoming undone when I go to make it
@@nicoleallensworth3472 what do you mean “undone”?

I have the other adapters and love them. So happy to find them for the Joy too.
Hi from Karen, just found this on your video, I ordered these adapters they work great! Thanks so much…… I even was able to use crayola markers
Yay! I’m so glad you love them!
I'm worried about using these Sharpies as it was a really tight fit using this adapter. Worried it may break the pen/blade holder.
I a wised them a bunch with no issues
@@CorinneBlackstone Thank you
