First video of the year! And I'm glad it's this one cuz the Roses and Muskets Event has become one of my favorite events, especially cuz it's all about film!!
So of course I wanted to envision what the trailer for Xavier's Two Musketeers would look like for the Fontaine Film Festival :D I really had fun putting this together! HOPE YOU ENJOY!!

I'd actually wait for the movie before believing the reviews. I'm cool with changing one of the main characters to an older sister but from what I've heard, they changed a lot of things in the film. I've read the book so it may be difficult to give an unbiased opinion. I have faith with director Furina tho

I heard this was Ayaka's first time acting in a movie. Her debut movie!!! And it is said she had no prior acting experience. What a Prodigy!!!
I could feel her grief through the screen when she cried over her mother's death.
Also Chevreuse Performance was phenomenal!! I can't wait to see future films starring Ayaka and Chevreuse.
Ms. Ayaka was amazing in the movie!

This movie turned out great ngl, mostly faithful adaptation to the novel with some lines even being verbatim with the original book, as well as some compelling new subplots too. The lead actresses were great too, I heard one of them works in the Maison Gardiennage and the other is Inazuman. Xavier really outdid himself with this one, but if you like his movies you might want to check out his earlier works based in Inazuma.
I thought his choice of changing the main pair to be 2 sisters was going to be disastrous but turns out it's way better than the original
@@Namei116 exactly, I had my reservations when I saw the posters and trailer but that turns out even more balanced than in the book, as expected from director Furina herself
SO TRUEE!! As someone who read the novel, I was literally impressed by the movie. Seriously wasn’t excepting it to be this good. Lady Furina is really amazing! Also, I didn’t know that about the lead actresses! I’ll look into it!
But I've heard from a trustworthy friend that the novel and by extensions the movie are inspired from a true story and that the author got arrested and send to the fortress.
It definitely deserved the award during the Fontinalia Festival.

Definitely not an overrated piece of art.
They did more *justice* with the plot development in this adaptation (compared to the original novel), that I was moved to tears with the conclusion they finally reached.

Honestly the amount of detail and attention paid to this is insane.

Xavier really outdid himself despite the lack the budget this film had going into it. Gotta praise Furina's marvelous directing skills as well, she really put in the time to give us this golden flim despite the low pay.

The fact that this looks like a genuine movie trailer is amazing. All the logos at the end, and the shots of text in between scenes during the trailer make it really look authentic.

Those minor changes were the exact thing the movie needed to surpass the Novel.
Director Furina showed us why she is still one of Teyvat's best directors..

This movie was absolutely AMAZING! I legit cried 3 times while watching the movie. also, I heard that this was Ayaka's first time acting! She's AMAZING at it, almost like she's done it before!
I know right?! The character of Iris was portrayed amazingly as well. Considering I heard they rewrote a large portion of the Musketeers' dialogue to give them equal amounts of screentime (something I personally found a bit annoying about the novel being that one of them typically overshadowed the other) Xavier did an amazing job bringing these characters to life, and Chevreuse and Ayaka's acting did nothing but enhance this further. Bravo to everyone involved!

I think the only thing that would really make it more dramatic is when Chevreuse “we will gain Justice” is the music builds up prior and that line is the only thing heard and BANG! Credits. That’s just my opinion and how I would’ve done it.

I can understand why this movie won the Furina award… but to learn it was miss Ayaka’s acting debut was incredible. She gave an expert-level performance that left me on the edge of my seat the whole movie. If I had to offer one criticism I’d say that I feel it’s an unfortunate choice to use the Hotel Debord as the filming location. After all, I rely on my daily coffee from there, but I couldn’t get inside, much less past the crowds hoping to catch a glimpse of our Lady Furina! It threw my whole schedule off!
Now we need a French dub !!
I came to Fontaine just to watch the premiere! Very amazing movie. Brought tears to my eyes. Would recommend.

I've been wathcing some of your genshin x [anime opening] videos, and maybe you should try making a parody of Mashle's opening, as it's getting pretty popular + I'm sure ppl would love to see the genshin characters dance to that funny part of the song. It's just an idea tho, but keep up the good work! 👍
