@@julianbell9161 I thought they were gonna take him cuz of ucla but whitmore is just a way better raw athlete and can guard on the perimeter better. Would’ve addressed immediate roster need.
I don’t know about that shade towards D’lo, “sit in the corner for someone who can actually hit shots?” D’lo may not have been consistent in the playoffs, but D’lo is the best 3 point shooter Lakers have had in years. All he did is shatter the Lakers 3 point record on elite 3pt percentage. If we lose D’lo, we will still be the 25-28th in 3 pt attempts, because some of our best players don’t put up 3s, because they aren’t good at it. So if we want to make a significant jump in 3 point attempts and makes, Lakers might need D’lo and Knect both. I know the Lakers want to trade D’lo, but none of the other guards they want to trade him for shoot as good as D’lo. So going to be a very interesting to see how JJ designs the offense to generate more quality and quantity of 3s without enough strong 3 point shooters on the roster.
For Detroit, I don’t think they are trying to make their team make sense for next year, because even if they drafted a shooter, they would still be a bad team. I think they know that they have a chance to be good 2-4 years from now, and that’s enough time for Asuar and Hollins to work on their shot. You can always add pure shooters in FA. What you don’t want to do is draft a role player just because he can shoot, and pass up on someone with star potential because he can’t shoot. A team that is very bad needs to focus on raw talent first, then worry about fit later, when their core has become established.
I can see that. You need to dig for stars first, then put role players around them; rather than assemble a bunch of role players and hope to find a star that fits with them.
lmao it’s basically 2 unprotected picks. if you cared to do any research you’d know the 2030 pick is top 1 protected. it’s quite literally 2 unprotected firsts
@@malikhagan4983 But its a swap? yeah the wolves end up with the worse pick, but it’s quite literally NOT 2 unprotected firsts unless I am misunderstanding something
@@bobbybobwellington in 2030 when the spurs will be experiencing wemby’s prime it’s easy to bank on them being better than minnesota in 2030, therefore swapping the worst would return in san antonio’s favor. so yes theoretically it’s 2 unprotected’s when they convey. that’s if they even own the pick by then lol
@@malikhagan4983 Dude, you really don't understand English. It's literally a pick swap and may not even convey if the Wolves have a better record than the Spurs. You have Wemby, but we will have Ant in his prime as well. You keep lol, but you are the one everyone is laughing at. Unbelievable....
Mark Williams is better than Cilghan !! Longer more athletic better scorer and better defender because his footwork on the perimeter is way better.. Both of you are wrong!!!
Do you guys @Nerd_Sesh think my former Kentucky Wildcat Antonio Reeves will get drafted in the 2nd round? I know you think he should be, but would you be surprised if he wasn't? I sure hope so just because of his shooting ability at shooting guard or small forward.
As a TN Vols fan I am pissed Knecht went to LA. Caruso, Reeves, and and now Knecht. Lakers just gonna either stunt the growth and then trade them away.
So amped for Antman x Robin future backcourt
Imagine if the lakers took whitmore last year bruh im still pissed
Or Jamie Jacques Jr
Nah idc lol this guys better 😂

Minnesota Timberwolves was a winner last night Terrence Shannon jr & Dillingham.
