haha that's crazy! I passed out once with my arm slumped over the back of a chair, and when I woke up, I couldn't move my hand and it was totally numb. It was like that for over 4 months! Google search 'saturday night palsy' - it was pretty scary
I love your videos. Here's a question and suggestion for a video tutorial. Every time I'm designing I always have to click on and off parts of my tools panel (layers, pathfinder, etc) to either access or hide. It gets very annoying. I have them in separate groups but how do I set it up where They always stay visible and not blocking each other. Thanks.
That is a good suggestion and I was thinking of making something kind of based around this topic, and that is how to customise Illustrator for your personal uses. There are presets if you go up to window and workspace, such as typography, layout design etc. But you will still have too many things cluttered. I have 2 tips quickly for you, and that is you can move and stick panels together in 1 long row or column, and only add the essentials for that project. But also if you press tab once on your keyboard, all of the windows will be taken away, and if press it again they will return.
I never thought about creating just one long row. I will try it. Thanks. If you don't mind. I would like to submit tutorial ideas. Just things I have problems figuring out. Here's one. I can't figure out how to transform in illustrator like I can easily in Photoshop with the transform/warp tools. Thanks again.
nono it's all good, I love to hear suggestions so more the merrier! It's always good to know what viewers want to see as a creator. By transform you mean warping and changing the perspective of the shape? Illustrator doesn't really have presets like Photoshop. Luckily by coincidence tomorrow I have a video on using the perspective grid in Illustrator. Mostly in Illustrator you have full control of the shape and how it looks by using the direct selection tool (white arrow) or the pen tool by making shapes free hand.
Satori Graphics Sorry for slow reply. I fell asleep. Its about 5am here. Oh ok. Can't wait to see it. Because illustrator is better for text and vector work. I've really been struggling trying to do the same things in illustrator as I do in Photoshop.
I have posted a few links below for you to check out when you have time, some of them are older videos on my channel so the video quality might not be as good ruclips.net/video/ZsqqBj3Dk0I/видео.html ruclips.net/video/ctXqirkUzXI/видео.html ruclips.net/video/ckAzkRtPxdA/видео.html
PSA: 1)It is easier to click on stroke in appearance panel to get to stroke panel 2) it is easier to flip graident in the gradient panel by pressing the buttons with two gradient squares and two arrowheads.
In tomorrows video we will be going slightly 3D
Thanks for a great focused tutorial.
Thanks for the comment! I wonder what happened in 2006 that made your leg so crazy lol?
I think it drank too much Vodka and my right leg has never been the same! Haha
