- How to add a stamp effect to your logo design or text in Illustrator. What’s up people, it’s Tom with Satori Graphics back with another graphic design Illustrator tutorial; today I am going to show you how to add a stamp effect to your logo in Adobe Illustrator, this stamp effect tutorial also works for text as well, but you need to outline the text in Adobe Illustrator before hand.
With today’s Illustrator tutorial, you can literally turn any hand lettering, typography or logo design into a stamp. The effect is made using a transparency function in Illustrator, and a grunge vector to which there is a download below. It isn’t that difficult to add a stamp effect to a logo in Illustrator, and I have made this tutorial as easy and straight forward to follow as possible. So I hope that by the end of this Illustrator tutorial you will be able to make your very own stamp logo design!

The transparency window in Illustrator is superb and can be used for various textures on vector designs

by the way which editor you use?
You are going to be very very surprised when I tell you, or maybe you won't be surprised and can tell how basic my editing is. I use iMovie that comes with any Mac lol. I have used After Effects only once and that was to render my logo! I am going to check out some of your recent vids in a moment and see what you are up to on your channel :P
you will also surprise i also use free editing software and i must say they are way more good as free software.
i use HITFILM and DAVINCI RESOLVE.
once you will start editing with this you will fall in love with these because they are much more likely heavily paid editors.
Thanks for the tips, I will look into using one of those softwares. I am so used to using iMovie and I have my editing process locked solid, so it may take some getting used to ..

Thanks a lot! I have been having trouble exporting the ebook from InDesign for Kindle on Amazon, the text doesn't show up properly. So it will have to be viewed without Kindle .. let me know what you think and thanks again :)
If you do download the eBook, at the moment it is NOT supported by Kindle, so you will not be able to view it with that app. That is until I can workout how to export an InDesign file so it is read by Kindle's software 100% efficiently.

Hey i cant seem to only select one vector of the stamp designs. It wont let me select one and it just keeps moving it around when i clips on it and drag
Vector files are grey instead of white ? or am i wrong here ?
