I picked up tube of Perfect Plastic Putty at my local Hobby Town in Lafayette, LA and I must say that it is without doubt THE BEST filler I have EVER used!. I love the product, now I need to find the other tools like the application sirenges. I works great, better than anything I have found in my 40+ years of scale modeling.
Ask for it, if they don't have it in stock, shame on them. I hd to look for it. If not, order it from Amazon or EBAY. It's really worth it! Learned another technique with it, when it dries, simply wipe any excess away with alcohol on a soft cloth, no sanding to scratch you models surface and causing you to have to re-scribe panel lines. If you wipe to much away below the seam or gap, simply add a little more and repeat, doesn't take long to dry.
Deluxe Materials Thanks John, you need to let Hobby Town know that people are having a hard time finding it in their stores. I received a message from a guy who said he couldn't find it at Hobby Town. I told him if not, get it at Amazon or EBAY.
I find I can tackle lots of awkward joints with this stuff as I don't need to sand it using water and a paint brush to shape it before it fully sets. Great for using round canopies as it doesn't attack the plastic and you don't have to sand near those clear parts. I love the stuff.
I purchased a tube of this product although oddly enough, it does not state non-toxic on box or tube. It does state to wash hands immediately after use and use with plenty of ventilation. Seems odd, is it toxic or not? I've reached out to Perfect Products directly although have not received a answer.
Warning ,warning,DANGER , Danger!!This putty has reacted very badly when sprayed with acrylic auto primer /filler . My model car now has pimples . Have to dig this out and redo with NON water based putty :(
No it is not. You should use another of our products if you are looking for structural strength. Fusion is maybe what you want. Bites plastic. You need to find out what the plastic is and come back to us. john@deluxematerials.com
You can also get it from Michigan Toy Soldier Company Fine Toy Soldiers and ... www.michtoy.com. We saw them at Toledo this weekend past and intend in keeping it in stock. Speak to Rick .
Just called the CDN distributor in Edmonton Alberta and looking forward to picking some up. Do you mind if I do a review for a group of major US modelling web sites? I have the "perfect" kit to use.

I love the Super Phatic glue for balsa. This looks like a very promising product as well, I'm definitely picking some up.

+Andy X Try Horizon Hobby or Megahobby.. both have it and you can ask your local dealer to buy from Horizon Hobby wholesale
What´s the difference between the one with black cap and the one with white cap?
I see you can use water to clean it. once dry, can you use water based paints on it or would that cause a reaction?
Acrylic paints are fine.. if in doubt try on some scrap. You will love it..John
Good putty hard to find anywhere
awesome!!!

John
Do you have a local reseller in Calgary, Alberta, Canada please?
Try any Horizon Hobby stockist or Great Hobbies. Details on our website.
My experience is that it was garbage. Did not stick, and fell off and out. Did not work well with water. Also seemed to have a finite shelf life
Mcann's Model world In Hobart, Tasmania Australia Stocks this :O I have it Beside me but 18$ though :/

The woman doing the voice-over is obviously reading from a script. Adverts like this are so corny these days!!
