My animation has a problem where when i press play the animation attack plays by it self over n over and also no control And theres no button response as well though i connected it to the input ? What am i doing wrong

Yes, probably. There are many ways to approach something like that in Dreams depending on what type of game you want to make. Flying puppet mechanics is a subject we've wanted to cover for awhile now.
Second day on dreams and every single tut on I see always has something missing out of it or some template that they edit if learned more from playing for an hour then a whole day of watching videos 🤦🏽♂️
Your frustration is understandable. If there's something you're interested in that we haven't covered or maybe missed, feel free to mention it. We can't promise perfect solutions all the time, but we are always looking for things to cover and solve if possible.
@@EasyDreamsCult thanks very much particularly switching puppets logic out for another and assigning buttons to certain task is what’s really making me confused because there are Atleast 3 logics I tried for controller and nothing I tried work

@@EasyDreamsCult i don't know how to Animate the scene i mean when my Player needs to Attack the Enemy do i have to Animate the walking animation from my side to the enemy for the Attack to happen ? Because the Attack animation is ready but how to make the walking to the enemy i try it with a recorder but it looks stiff😣
@@RememberMe890 Okay, there's two possibilities that come to mind to deal with this. You could use the "follow" settings combined with tags to get your character to approach the enemy for an attack. Or, you could go really old-school and just opt out of having an approach animation all together, so that when you make an attack the attacker just teleports into position to make the attack. Not as flashy, but it can get the job done. Thanks for raising this issue. A turn-based combat system is actually a very good subject for a video. We cultists tend to feel that a turn-based rpg system is actually a gameplay system that would fit very well with Dreams approach to game development.

@@nLYST Great! A takedown mechanic would probably not be simple, but is possible, if you're talking about something like Elden Ring's backstab.

I also tried to make a projectile system in his hand but it doesn't work correctly with the animation
