Good job man! I love it when people make a long videos and every single minute of that video is useful information what I really hate is when people make 20 minute videos and only 2 minutes of that video is useful information. I'm a newbie also at this whole RC helicopter thing this is my first helicopter so I'm still learning what are the controls on a helicopter does. I come from quadcopter flying world so drones are pretty simple it's pretty simple to see what the blades are doing with the wind around it helicopters are pretty amazing and unique and a little harder to figure out because everything is done with that one blade and the little one all it does is just move the helicopter clockwise or counterclockwise. Everybody warned me that I would crash this helicopter a bunch when I first start flying it. And that is true I crashed it like five times already however it was not because of my flying though it was more because I kept losing power in the air for some reason and then I found out that every time I went to throttle all the way down it would lose power and start coming down and then I found out about the idle up switches.

I just got the OMP EVO - The pitch is real aggressive, Seems with no effort the heli will go 100 feet in the air and is super jumpy . Everything else is good but if I want to tone down the pitch of the Helicopter what would I need to adjust on the pitch setting? also if the heli is drifting back a little bit can I use the trim adjustments on my radio? or do I need to do all the adjustments from the FBL controller ?

Reduce the overall pitch range. go to the pitch setting then like he shows in the video, use a flight mode that has 0 to 100 pitch. put throttle max + or - (might want to disconnect motors first even if they're disabled in this setting mode, they can fire back up when you exit the mode). then use elevator stick to trim down each end. it wont work without the pitch at the end points. then hold set button 3 secs to finish. more pitch range = less stick resolution. less pitch range = more stick resolution. You can also adjust in your radio the overall pitch range as well (like 10 or 20 at point 1, 90 or 80 etc at point 5), but then you may miss ability to adjust the pitch on the fbl board.

Thanks for the video, I just added a 3 bladed head to mine and the rolls and flips are super so i incensed speed but didn't seem to help so just up the agility hope that is what needs to be changed. what does the Gryo part of each one do?

Gyro part is gain, I didn’t need to change anything when I went to the 3 bladed head. But I’m running 9 speed on all and 1 agility

I recently acquired an M2 EXP but after a few flights, not fully happy with the way it flies. I find the pitch range is incredibly twitchy and very(!) responsive whilst the cyclic speed is very slow and 'mushy' around centre sticks. In my dx6e radio I have zero expo over rudder, elevator and aileron. I am hoping some adjustments to the flybarless unit could resolve these problems. Would you have any thoughts/suggestions on what I could do? Thank you in advance.

reduce your pitch range. then increase the speed of the elev and aile settings.

as far as the cyclic being mushy around center, this is a known issue. it can be resolved with radios other than spektrum: ruclips.net/video/grBj-AvWTqg/видео.html

I hate the term 'agility', when I think of speed/rates I feel that automatically dictates agility, not a separate setting
