Hey my Brother. I have a 2006 ML 350 (W164)and I have been experiencing a check engine light. I have been advised that I may need to change my timing chain. Also was advised it is a common issue with this type car and it is a big job. In addition someone has also told me that MB is fighting a recall on this issue.
I am at a crossroads deciding what to do. The car drives very nice and the body is in great shape but, I can’t pass an emissions test with a check engine

Also, I have a issue where I can only fill up 2 bucks at a time when filling the tank, can that be the evap cannister? I had a blowout a few months ago and my mechanic said it knocked a tube out
