@@gellertn I was shocked when I heard it was well, many parts of the world still considers males preferable to females. Though I don't want to be someone that would judge other cultures, it makes me realize the steps women have made in our part of the world. We also had that thought process once... some still do.

This is probably the best GOT watchalong on RUclips, tbh. They're so into it, can't wait for their reaction to later episodes and seasons. Then of course, their reaction to how it all ends to see if they're as frustrated as most were

Probably they'll be just impressed with the last season too, i guess. It's still something totally different for them, the cultural difference is big. They couldn't even figure out the obvious suggestion behind Joffrey hair color.
I also want to see if they have the same reaction as we all had. I always wanted to see how much of our reaction was group-think and people following the crowd, maybe they will actually like the ending.
The majority of people reacting are people pretending they never saw it before, I love the authenticity in this watchalong and the culture aspect.
Please, let them watch the whole series (if they like it). It is a wild ride for sure.
They should watch it until season 6 to save them from dissapointment.

I don't think so....
I believe Sarru mentioned in it briefly in the first episode, "is that her brother?" and Raeen responded, " no way that's her brother, what are you saying?". Sarru responded "that kind of stuff use to happen back in the past." Sarru suspects it is.

When he was young, Robert was one of the best fighters in the Kingdoms. He was an absolute beast in a fight, and he killed Prince Rhaegar, himself one of the best fighters in the Kingdom, in one-on-one combat.
He let himself get out of shape and lazy as he got old. But in his prime, Robert was a tank.
Especially because of his preferred weapon of choice completely not caring whether or not the opponent I wearing armor lol
@@BanControl Yeah. One of the few men in Westeros smart enough to bring an anti-armour weapon to a battlefield where almost everyone is wearing armour.
With all the kingly “business” to attend, it would become all too easy to say “I’ll exercise tomorrow,” and then say it every day for 17 years.

They've been told often enough, but they are always talking over it, so they miss it every time.
I'm not sure why they haven't. I guess their minds can't comprehend it. Its interesting to watch their facial expressions.
They'll find out eventually. If I remember right (it's been awhile), Jamie and Cersei talk about the fact that they are brother and sister.
@@Pho_King_A Yes, that was actually one of the changes HBO made when re-shooting the pilot episode. In the very first scene where we see Jamie and Cersei, he says to her, “As your Brother.....” In the original pilot, most people in test audiences simply did not catch on to that they were siblings, so they inserted multiple lines to hammer that fact home, like Tyrion addressing them as “beloved siblings,” and Arya telling Sansa, “That is Jamie Lannister, the queens twin brother.” Despite all this, it still goes over the head of many reactors.

WOW. My thoughts would be if (big if) I let a child of mine watch it I would want to be present to answer the many questions they have rather than leaving them to guess or draw the wrong conclusions.
I think they meant watching it alone without parents or adults knowledge 😂 Netflix and Prime had to censor their film and shows to tailor to cultural norms in India bec people were filing complaints about the obscene content on the platform they or their child were exposed to. Even this series has a HBO censored version for the South Asian market.

@@ghz24 No not children😂 I don't think they're including young kids. I think they mean older teens and up.. There is content older teens would be able to understand for the most part or at least have the capacity to understand but not comfortable watching with the rest of their family such as parents due to content.

Personally I find it funny when people are all creeped out about talking about certain subjects or seeing affection displayed by their parents.
Mine assumed they were a better information source than the street or friends.
I don't remember "the talk" because it wasn't a singular event it was as needed and started young, plus I was raised on a farm and saw animal breeding.
TV was also very tame in the 60s but I remember being excuded from viewing some movies, one was Barbarella but I was eight at the time it was released.
@ghz24 My family had many taboo subjects. I was lucky enough to have a friend whose family openly discussed everything. It was like visiting a home where all the windows were open and light flooded in. They had a wonderful influence on my life.

The reason the mountain is angry is ser Loris kind of cheated by riding a female horse that was "in heat" making his stallion crazy with lust and hard to control. That is why he killed the horse.
He should have had his destrier gelded if he wasn't using it for studding.

They're wrong that you can't watch this family.
As long as the family is all adults.
But if they mean, children, I would think from the violence alone, it's clear children shouldn't be watching.
Cultural difference. In their culture yeah you wouldn't watch this with parents/children(even 18+ ones) maybe with siblings. But yeah here in the US families will all watch this, I know 11 year olds who watched it with their parents, I watch with my brother, mom, dad & grandma.
Nude and graphically sexual scenes are not viewed in their films and considered obscene. Their love scenes in films are more G or PG. Even kissing was barely shown in their films at one point and many still don't.
Watching movies is considered a family thing and the films had no ratings bec anyone could watch. Now there are ratings bec the Censors have let certain content go through like love scenes but it's still pretty mild and non nudity.

I was very sad to hear them say "women should not speak among men", especially since they seem to be so supportive of Arya being independent and headstrong. Hope the translation made it sound worse than it was meant 💔
No. They said the same. It's not that we consider women's gender itself as lesser. It's just that, we don't agree that women across the board deserve blank cheque respect just because they are 'female'. Depends on the situation.

@@alimantado373 I really like Batman: The Animated Series. It was made in the 90s as a kids show that is also accessible and entertaining for adults. The the soundtrack is award-winning, and the art style is one of my favorites too, it is a blend of the 90s and 30s/40s Gothic. Every episode has a lesson and theme and many of them touch on some pretty mature topics that I can't see being done today. There is also a sequel series called Batman: Beyond and a fully interactive multiverse with the Justice League..
I am about to unsubscribe because of the fact that the people in charge of this channel keep playing the subscribers for complete idiots. I’ve been subbed to them for a long time now and have slowly watched these ‘handlers’ ease them into soft core porn and visceral violence all for the sake of clicks that I’m sure doesn’t benefit them as much as the ‘uncles’ that control them.
