I don't usually comment, but there are so many negative comments here I felt like I needed to say something. I LOVE this channel. As an American, t's easy to lose appreciation for many films, to compare everything to something else I liked MORE, or didn't like. Watching these gentlemen react, it's like I get to relive my childhood again, watching films like Aladdin and Jungle Book and Tarzan for the first time. The joy and wonder of it. I didn't much like the Aladdin remake when it came out, but that was because I was COMPARING it to the old one. I hope the Channel ignores hate in the comments, and simply lets these men watch fun and entertaining films without spoiling them with "film culture". Love from America. Thank you for doing this.
Yes, people communicate poorly and then get upset. It's not even a bad thing because now these two can watch the animated 1992 movie. I'm interested in how they compare the two.

I still really want them to watch Slumdog Millionaire and because they seem to enjoy dancing to music, watch the post-credits song at the end of the movie where they're all dancing.
aww, the cartoon version would have been better but glad they liked it. EDIT: I'm not saying this is a bad film - it's not at all. And these guys really, REALLY seemed to enjoy it so I just meant as a kid at 10 i saw the cartoon so loved that. I'm 42 now. I'm sure 10 year olds who saw this movie loved it just as much as I the original. And it wasn't made for me - it was made for them. So... that's all I meant. Peace all!
but yeah I agree they really seemed to love this! I'm 42. I was ... 10 ... ish when the Cartoon version came out. That movie was made for me, and people like me, give or take 10 years either way. Well not, 2 month olds, they just see bright lights but you know what I mean. The Live Action version is... a Disney Movie made for 10 year olds, give or take 10 years either way. It's not MEANT for 42 year old men. Sure, 42 year old men can enjoy it (I did!) but I'm not the target audience and there's no reason, at all, to be hostile to this film. for some people - it's not their "thing". Ok. So don't watch it. Simple! Why "hate-watch" anything? It's silly. BUT - ok, even if someone still "hates" this film because it's somehow destroying their childhood - who cares what that person (the people giving negative comments about the movie itself) think about the film? This is a reactions channel and these guys - Babu especially - REALLY enjoyed it! These people should just stop talking. Go watch another reaction video on this wonderful channel! The point is to look at their reactions. If you hate the movie, don't expect someone on the other side of the word to have the same opinion, necessarily! It's not difficult! Anyway, peace to all. Mostly :p
Always wondered how songs translate via the dub. As it cannot be word for word due to the structure of the song and words being longer or shorter in Hindi vs English
You can find some hindi versions of the songs if you're lucky. Mulan's Hindi songs are quite good. Disney usually takes great care the dubbing is done right.
the songs - they can be poetically ... similar - they can hear the emphasis and so - they "get" that, for most of it I think There was a phrase in the film - "Diamond in the rough" - which is an expression meaning a rare thing in an amount of many - i.e. Aladdin was a rare man in a world where, whilst not terrible, there's poverty and extreme punishments and what-not. I don't know what the Hindi or geographically-similar languages here would do, as a poem, but it means "a good human being, true of spirit", in the context of the Cave allowing someone to enter alive, let alone exit. It's similar how in UK mythology how "Arthur pulled The Sword from The Stone and Merlin the Wizard was there" etc. It's a good basis for a story and different cultures have different interpretations of it all. I don't know if that idea ("Diamond in the rough") came across quite right, which is a shame - and the dubbing / subtitle companies should I think offer a "dubbed" but subtitles explaining phrases that are geographically or culturally specific to those not familiar with them. For example, I'm 42 and male and come from the UK. We have a saying that is "in for a Penny, in for a Pound." As a local phrase/expression, it means like in the game of Poker - "going all in". But unless you come from a culture or language area where the words Penny and Pound make immediate sense in your ear - or even what "Poker" means. It's a bit difficult to "get it" immediately. Stuff like that can - and IS - shown with these reaction videos - but there must be some leeway here for translations and meaning. You know "those French weird films", where it's a different langauge and "doesn't make cultural sense to me, personally"? Well, this is one of those films that transcends that. These guys LOVED it, and I was delighted to see THEIR REACTION to this film. Which, personally, I also enjoy. With regard to songs, Babu loves it - and it's ... so amazing lol - years of following and he's just... dancing and singing... wow! :D
@@sarcasticstartrek7719 Thanks for that, fascinating read and I understand what you mean. I always enjoy seeing these guys enjoying themselves however it may be. I'm 39 from Scotland myself, you must have heard diamond in the rough living in the UK? I'm more than capable of discerning the meaning of these little phrases but you are quite right in what you say, and yes im very familiar with "in for a penny...." just as much as i am with "spend a penny..." 😛 I think because I'm personally a very literal person my brain couldnt grasp how the song structure would be maintained in a literal translation, but as you say it is more about translating the feeling and meaning of the song than it is about the literal words used.

Personally you should have chosen the animated version with Robin Williams a far superior version but it is what it is they liked it nonetheless but you should tell them that this is not a modern story this story it was told to a Syrian storyteller Hanna Diyab in 1709 and added to his collection One Thousand and One Nights.
SUuperior??? How exactly??? Live action movie is better. Has better songs, better arc for Jasmine and it actually gave Jafar's more depth by giving him backstory. (Adn villagers know about this story, do you seriously think they didn't? They mentioned it ata beggining)
Obviously letting Sarru and Babu still watch Alladin (1992) is a great idea. But having seen the movie now, it would also be cool to have these two watch Prince of Persia (2010) which is a highly similar setting but better done.
they need to watch blade movies, and i cannot stress enough on that. They will love wesley snipes' portayal (he is not even acting, he is blade through and through)
At the end, Babu said that these days there aren't stories like this. He's somewhat right, but there is the (admittedly horror) film "Wishmaster" about an evil genie that does what you ask, but in a horrible way. It is not a comedy and it has no songs in it. It's no worse than Terminator though.

Love you guys. For awhile there, you had a good mix of movies you were reacting to. I think it is decided on your Patreon what movies get shown? Fair enough. Though I feel like they are choosing nothing but kids movies lately (i include any kind of comic book movie made post 2k as a kids movie) or other kinds of simple commercial films, and apart from Kill Bill, it seems like there's no movies geared towards adults among any of your recent selection. I feel like those kinds of films would be of interest to you for their cultural value, unlike all the Disney, Marvel and Hollywood franchise films - along with being amusing to see your reaction to. Just my two cents..
"This" is far better than original. (as aisde, one of my comments i think has been caught in a spam filter somewhere - it was in relation to "Benknobs and Broomsticks" - is it possible to review and maybe authorise? I think I referenced a search term (didn't want to link to another channel) which may have triggered a spam warning. Sorry!)
@@reactnew Congrats, well done
These guys already have Better Older than Disney's Aladdin @ Home!
Personally you should have chosen the animated version with Robin Williams a far superior version but it is what it is they liked it nonetheless but you should tell them that this is not a modern story this story it was told to a Syrian storyteller Hanna Diyab in 1709 and added to his collection One Thousand and One Nights.
It’s dubbed anyway. I think they would have enjoyed this one more anyway.
They will love wesley snipes' portayal (he is not even acting, he is blade through and through)
I want to sit and watch movies with Babu
At the end, Babu said that these days there aren't stories like this. He's somewhat right, but there is the (admittedly horror) film "Wishmaster" about an evil genie that does what you ask, but in a horrible way.
It is not a comedy and it has no songs in it. It's no worse than Terminator though.
What's with this channel showing them live action remakes before originals? 💀 Lion king, now this
Remember Star Wars, the prequel before the originals
people do not state the year and expect them to be mind readers
Well people doing this might think "if we show them only animated films they might say we are think they are kids"
I mean even now on my house (in México) my sister says: it's a cartoon, that's for kids
@descendientesfan3624 Well they're learning it's not and btw I didn't know Mexico was as backward as countries like India
@@markmuller7962 I feel weird of saying this but when it's a written mock I don't always get it
No we aren't backward, some people are old-fashioned. And people might be smart, but crowds are dumb. Many people just go with the flow when something happens
young babu and his son are identical to aladdin
I normally don't like live action Disney remakes, but this I really enjoyed and couldn't wait to see when it came out in theaters. The only thing I didn't like was the actor that was chosen to be Jaffar. To me Conrad Veidt will always be the best Jaffar, hands down!!
You should show them the original cartoon instead. So much more magic ❤️ Although, important thing is that they enjoyed themselves 😊
More magic? Live movie is better. Charactres have better arc and songs are better.
please watch '13th Warrior' I feel they will like it very much
Can you react to The Jungle Book (1967)?
Also the 1994 version.
@@Buckaroo_BaldwinThat's a live action. And it's no different from Tarzan
@@FawnTheCreatorI know it's a live version it's still good.
Show them Crocodile Dundee 2.
They should watch Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. It's another swashbuckling adventure. And another great Muslim character!
I suggest a movie directed by Angelina Jolie called Unbroken!
Based on true events, and I could not recommend it more!
I saw the film when I was only 15…it was a while ago!
WHO WANTS TO SEE THEM WATCH MORE JACKIE CHAN MOVIES ?
Show them Alice and Wonderland (1951) and The little Mermaid (1989)
Should have watched Robin Williams Disney Aladdin it's the best
Live version is better.
Cartoon robin Williams version I would love.💕
Make them watch deadpool and wolverine movie
Hey itd be awesome if you guys watched Avatar 2
Show the original, not this. And movie '' lucy'' and' 'jumpers' ' that good to react 🎉
blame the people who don't add the year
"This" is far better than original. I really would want to know why people are so obssesed with first version, when re-make is superior in everything 🙄 Live Aladdin has better song, better female characters and villain has depth (we got Jafar's backstory how he was born in lower classes) so he is more realistic than cartoonish version from 1992.
Please react to "star trek: strange new worlds"
please watch dances with the wolves
Please react to DC movies as well. Pls. I have been requesting this for a long time.
Did you guys ditched Stranger Things.?
Here we go again... The original Disney cartoon should have come first
blame people for not adding year
Please avoid disney live action list. There are much better choices.
I like the original better but they enjoyed the film so i don't really know whats the big issue, they can always react to the animated versions as well
@@regina914I've haven't seen any film that they didn't like. I'm wondering are they just being polite 😂
I don't mind this version, I find it fun.
The channel is about their reactions, to movies, not your personal choices of movie preference. You can simply not watch the videos they react to of movies you don't like. And that's the end of that discussion.
Avoid Disney anything! They are a dead company...they just don't know it yet
Show them sonic the hedgehog movie. They'll love it
@@ultimatesonic-b127 i agree
Sir, remakes are almost never as good as the original. Stick with the classics!
This one was. Live Alladin is much better than animated. Animated one was good but average.
No Robin Williams. Me no like. The live action was ok though I guess. Also 2d jasmine was wayyyyyyyyyy more attractive.
Sir, make them watch the cartoon version of Aladdin. That is what everyone wanted. Having Raeen there would be appreciated.
' That is what everyone wanted. ' - Don't speak for everyone. I really would want to know why people are so obssesed with first version, when re-make is superior in everything 🙄 Live Aladdin has better song, better female characters and villain has depth (we got Jafar's backstory how he was born in lower classes) so he is more realistic than cartoonish version from 1992.
are yaaar marvel ko toh fek hi diya hai tumne 😮💨😮💨
I know right!!!!
That heart is ominous
I haven’t seen this movie. I got to 15:27. I love everything but the stupid American Disney songs with no melody. I prefer beautiful ballads and bhajans, etc.
Super duper skip
I wonder if they have seen "3 Idiots" with Amir Khan, that movie is shown to engineering students around the world for inspiration.
But why?
people don't add year
@@toomanyaccounts I've noticed
I don't like the person who shows the movies to these wonderful people, how can this person think of showing a remake first before the original movie?

I've seen people say when someone makes a film request they don't add the year so the owner just chooses the recent film
Remake is better than original. I really would want to know why people are so obssesed with first version, when re-make is superior in everything 🙄 Live Aladdin has better song, better female characters and villain has depth (we got Jafar's backstory how he was born in lower classes) so he is more realistic than cartoonish version from 1992. The 2019 live action remake became a hit and literally made over a billion dollars worldwide.
😁👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Still disappointed many old fans
it didn't make that. you have no idea advertising, movie production, what the theater cut is. it only made 200 million at best.
The original 1992 movie made more money.
@@FawnTheCreator But WHY? Live Aladdin has better songs, better Jasmine's arc and villain has depth (we got Jafar's backstory how he was born in lower classes) so he is more realistic than cartoonish version from 1992.
@@pendragonsxskywalkers9518 I don't remember that...
@@FawnTheCreator Regardless of what details you remember or not, I genuinely wish to know what was that 'disappointing' for older fans. That Jasmine has more agency?
The disrespect of showing live action is wild
people hate the live action version for good reason
@@toomanyaccounts For what reason? Live Aladdin has better song, better ar for Jasmine and villain has depth (we got Jafar's backstory how he was born in lower classes) so he is more realistic than cartoonish version from 1992. Everything is superior in live action version. Orginal was good, but averagely good. Live-action is simply amazing!
Gentlemen, are you serious? The originals are much better, because they are immortal.
blame the people who don't specify
Not at all - in this live actionis MUCH better. Better songs, better female characters, better Jasmin's arc and villain has depth (we got Jafar's backstory how he was born in lower classes) so he is more realistic than cartoonish version from 1992.
React to marvel
Disney sucks...choose better
This is a terrible movie if you wanna watch, Aladdin watch the animated one from the 90s not this garbage one with Will Smith pretending to be an Arabian genie
Well good thing they went into this one without any bias or hate in their heart, they can judge fairly and they can still watch the original one and enjoy it
How exactly is is 'terrible movie'? it is amazing movie. Great song, great female character (Jasmine), Aladdin personality from first ovie depicted accurately and villain who has depth (we got Jafar's backstory how he was born in lower classes) so he is more realistic than cartoonish version from 1992.
Total garbage. Should have let them watch the animated version. So disappointed.😣🥱
Why?
