You could even improve a little bit. To set the cursor at the center of an object, you don't have to go into edit mode and snap cursor first. You can simply right click an object and select Set origin to geometry. You can also set the cursor in object mode with shift click-drag and then hold ctrl to snap to vertices or whatever you want.
Which one is better.. Alias SubD or Blender? I already have some knowledge using Autodesk Alias. But I never used Blender before. Whatever is better I need to use it for automotive ideation designs.
Really depends on the person. Some designers only use blender. Others prefer the ease of being able to trim and make fillets in sub d. Other designers are super good at nurb modeling and use that in Alias. I use all three in different ways. I’m a believer that the program doesn’t matter as much as the time spent refining the skill set. Whatever workflow you are enjoying and spending the most time on, focus on that.

What I need to know is if there are any limitations for Alias SubD comparing to Blender, while doing conceptual 3D modelling? I want to model cars and their body kits. I already have some experience using Alias SubD, so I want to know whether I continue with Alias SubD Or need to learning Blender ? Thankyou

8:10 instead of CTRL + 3 for flipping the view , you can also just press 9 on the number pad

Be careful with 3.4 it's pretty buggy. It can randomly delete your collections, scramble your mesh data, and corrupt your file.
