It is nice to see how you have crossed the Algarve. At least, the coastline of the Algarve. Do you know that there is also a lot to see in the Algarve's 'interior'?
Also, it's a little bit of a pity that you did not go further east than Tavira. Further on towards the border with Spain you will certainly find places that are worth visiting, like Vila Real de Santo Antonio and Castro Marim.
For those who still have some time left, a visit (by ferry) to Ayamonte is also fantastic. This beautiful town lies on the Spanish side of the River Guadiana, so you can get there in no time and it is fantastic.

New to your channel, Liked and subscribed. Well covered Algarve. Questions , how hard is to driving in Algarve ? Is US driving license accepted there ? Is it automatic or manual car ? What about parking is it easy to find and how much in each of the towns you parked ?

Great guide guys, we are taking the kids to albufeira in August, ages 11, 16 and 18 just a little concerned is it a bit too mad or sketchy for kids? Should the party strip be avoided?
I know I shouldn't be laughing at other people's mishaps but seeing Caolan leaving his sea legs on the dinghy and fall between a boat and a hard place was good fun to watch.
This was a good synopsis of your previous stay in the Algarve, not too short, not too long... Well, at least not 600 miles long, anyway. You two are a riot!
BTW, that so-called Roman bridge in Tavira is not Roman at all. It's called "Roman" because it was built over the foundations of an ancient Roman bridge. The present-day bridge was built in the 1600s and replaced the old medieval one that had collapsed.

ah thank you, really glad you watched, dont worry about laughing at Caolan falling, we havent stopped laughing since it happend 😂 we actually heard something about the roman bridge not actually being roman, does it go back even further??? We have heard a few different stories about the bridge...
and yeah Dublin is VERY drizzly at the moment, we have a storm coming 😂

About the bridge, you heard it right (google it, and you'll see that I'm not fibbing). That bridge is not Roman, and couldn't possibly be!
The Romans had left the area by the fifth century and, of course, they were merely the administrators, that is, the ruling class -- they had not replaced the local population when they invaded and settled in Iberia!
But it is hard to know if there was an even older bridge at that location since there was no written history before the Romans...
Shame about the weather, though. it is a bit early in the year to be having big storms coming over Ireland... (I must check the weather forecast)

More history to the bridge than it seems, thanks for letting us know, it’s so interesting finding these things out, we actually have plans to visit Italy by the end of the year, lots of history there too.
@@GoTimeTravels Lots of history everywhere... that's what makes things interesting if you care to look. 'tis a wide world out there, too wide even, for my personal taste (time is of the essence, and it can be in short supply sometimes...). But Italy must be fascinating. Pity with all the travel restrictions, but of course, you know that already.

Just found you video and love the recommendations. We will be in the Algarve between 1-7 Jul. What type of drone are you using? I’ll be bringing my DJI Air 2S. It doesn’t look like there are to many issues flying there.
Hi there, so we use a Mavic Air 2, no issues at all, just beware of Seagulls, there is so many in Algarve and they HATE drones sp be careful 😁
@@GoTimeTravels Yup, the gulls were insane and kept following my drone so I had to fly higher than I wanted.

If you ask at reception of Faro hotel you can get the elevator from inside the hotel.
