My dream classic car is the ‘66 fort gt40 solely because it was the first ever gt40 to win the Le Mans and also because Ken Miles drove it and he is the coolest person ever to come out of Birmingham
Guys, it's not the sound this car makes, it's the engine, it's tune and the exhaust. These three can be found in many other vehicles fitted with the same engine. The point here is that most GT40s sound the same because the exhaust configuration rarely changes. Yes, it's my dream car too.
Awesome sound. That guy can't seem to find the groove of when to shift though. The shift from first to second is started late and executed horribly every time.
I've been driven round a racing track in an original GT40 3 times. The gear change was like that even by the 3 different racing drivers. There was a gate system for the gear lever.
@@Outland9000 It's as British as the P51 was American. We flipped flopped rolls here. Chassis were constructed in England, while the 427cu is 100% American.

That shift at 0:54 sounds like part rattlesnake, part snarling panther. Goosebumps.
And 1:28 too !
That's one of my dream classic cars specifically because of that sound.
Parker The Squid it’s without a doubt mine for me

@@erzafluff6121exactly, bro, God, I love this car
0:59 that’s an angry growl
The most beautiful car of all time, IMO.
This car devours Ferraris for breakfast.
And spits them out 24 hours later.
Eats them for a morning snack
The sound it makes when it goes into third hnnnng
KartKing4ever omg yasss
Ahh it just sounds so soulful 😍😍😍
Every time I see this car I think of your comment lol
One of my favorite sounding cars of all time, and that says a lot!
What an absolute beautiful beast. And then the sound. Simply brilliant.

I didn’t know porn was available on You tube I thought wrong
00:58 I don't know why but when he inserts the third gear the sound reminds me the Vulcan howling. At 02:00 is even more noticeable.
You mean the Aston Martin Vulcan?
0:39 sounds like a angry mountain lion letting you know it's gonna pounce - then it does!
2 cars have made me cry, this one and my 03 cobra.
Gives me chills from Gran Turismo 1 and 2.
That shift sound! 💪💪💓💥💥🔥

My favourite sound in the world. My favourite car in the world.
Esse é imortal!! Simplesmente o melhor!!
Thanks , I have to change my shorts now
I love you gt40 :d
1:05 The way it looks from the front - demonic!
What sweet music...
There's only one GT40 in this doing accelerations bc there's only one person crazy enough to even take it out on the road
best looking car ever !!!!!!!
What a beauty
It looks like this guy is taking different people for rides. I love those fat sidewall tires.
Thats history Flying by..
It looks like the engine breath changing the speed 🤠

The most perfect car ever.
No good on a public road, that thing needs a track to stretch it's legs!
The public..."oh my God, did you see that"! "What was that"!
Very very rare 1965 Ford GT40 427ci V8 Roush, Four-speed manual transaxle.

What engine? This sounds like the 427 Windsor by Roush.
Depends if it’s genuine or replica if it’s genuine it’s a Shelby engine
Maybe it's a 289? They were really loud also.

And one day when there are only EV's, some petrol head at hart will find this and cry uncontrollable!
I believe this car is the 289..
The John Wyer Gulf GT40s were 289s or 302s, yes. The MkII Fords were 427s.
Ya Like Jazz? This is a replica
JA96 oh I'm aware. I'm just saying to maintain authenticity that's what should've been installed
This is a 327ci Ford Motor Sport engine putting out about 450hp.
at 00:37, you can see a land rover
Reminds me, need to check bitcoin price. 😭
What the hell is that beautiful American car doing on the left side of the road
What are any cars doing on the left side of the road? It seems to be madness. :)
Welp, It is as British as it is American to be fair.
If you have the money and clout to buy one of those in North America, then you would have a point.

Not a Ford ! It's actually a British Lola. Ford kindly adopted it because they saw its Potential.
That driving on the wrong side of the road is fd up.
