The vibe you get from driving an older vehicle is timeless. One of the biggest cons of social media is how much people idolize others that flex. Just do you
What you said about picking up girls in your old truck is very true. You want them to see the side of you that you think might put them off the most to see if they like the real you. That's why the first time I picked up my wife before we were dating, I took the doors and top off it and blasted "Courtesy of the Red White and Blue" by Toby Keith. I was honestly shocked when she loved the Jeep and started singing along to Toby Keith. And here we are today, married for almost a year and a half now 😊
Joe Garofalo II the first time I picked up my girlfriend from her house I was in the middle of getting my bed and front quarter panels painted on my 01 Dodge (@shadow_GK on ig) and she absolutely loved it. It’s the best feeling ever when they love somthing that you love
I love my truck because my wife will not drive it. She says its way to long because its 95 Chevy Excab and long bed. I love it because its set up just for me and never have to move the seat LOL.
Sounds like my 2018 ram 3500 dually. Everyone makes fun of her wide ass, yet she squeazes into spots that make people just jealous. My 05 z71 1500 just makes sure everyone knows im in town since its so loud..
I have a 98 Z71 extended cab 3 door short bed, with leather seats, and the 5.7L vortec engine. It’s all stock and my dad bought it new in 98 it still looks brand new as well mainly because it set in a garage for most of it’s life. I love my truck and so does my girlfriend.
Exactly and it's refreshing to see a female echo these thoughts in this day and age of everybody copying each other on social media and one upping eachother
You’re exactly right bro you shouldn’t care what people think there’s always going to be negative people in this world there’s nothing we can do about it all we can do is keep our heads held high and keep going forward with life #GreatVideo#WorkForIt💯💪🏽
I had a 95 f150 and my girl loved it for so many reasons. It was the last good body(our opinion) for trucks. The color was that awesome blue sapphire. It had a long bed for hanging out on the beach or watching the stars and the bench seat! She loved the bench seat. I miss that truck too this day:(
I do flooring most of the time but I do other construction work to.I have a 89 dodge ram van and as long as it makes me money and runs then the hell with it.
Yes absolutely nothing wrong with driving an old vehicle no matter what it is or what it looks like. As long as it gets you from point A to point B and back to point A. Both my car & truck are 03’s. I could have bought something newer but I like and appreciate old vehicles. I appreciate how much easier it is to work on an older vehicle. And I appreciate the days when things were just simply made right.
I needed to hear this. I’m moving to college on Saturday and I have to drive my parents 2000 Toyota Avalon. It is the definition of grandma car. But I’m looking to buy my own first truck. I’m only driving till I find my truck . I realy want a 7.3 obs to they are amazing
I’m all for your badass sema build, I love that truck and every little detail you chose to put into that truck. But I am definitely more of a fan for your beater 7.3 power stroke work👍 love the classics and the whole idea of a truck doing what it is designed for..... WORK!
Awesome to see you play the drums! I didn’t know you played. I’m the same way with a guitar. I’ve been so busy the last 10 - 15 years that I rarely ever play. I used to play 3 or 4 hours a day but now I just don’t have the time.
I just drive one truck. It’s an 08 Silverado. Nice enough for dates but never afraid to load or tow. Best option I think. Buy a decent truck in 15-20k range that u like
I’m an electrician and the amount of stuff I have to buy on a job in funny. My entire garage is full of extra wire snakes, pliers, tester and thousands of dollars of wire I had at my house. I can relate with you!
I just subscribed after watching your video on what you do for a living. Then ended up watching more of your videos! Awesome content bro. And now you posted something new lol😎
I currently drive a 1998 Ford F-150 and even though I would rather it to be more powerful and I would rather a Powerstroke. But anyways I, not ashamed of the truck I do drive. I've made it my own and you know it's mine when you see it because it is unique. I have a custom made front bumper that my dad and I made together, light bars, 3x5 flags flying off the back, etc
Got a 1998 Chevy Blazer 4 door with stock wheels and 31s but I think I'm gonna go with a set of 17x10 with 33x12.50r17 and my car is paid for that I did on my own at 17
Love my 97 Gmc, 5.7 auto, with MI laws have to update the truck not big enough for tow trailers, mostly leave the old girl right in the driveway, to reliable to get raid of, plus rather drive that then my wifes Chevy Traverse
2000 Mitsubishi montero sport. Picked it up for a grand. It’s ugly,, paint is trash, but it gets me back and forth to work 60 miles a day, 6 days a week. I’d love a newer truck sure, and I hate that it’s an import, but it does what I need it to. I refuse to be embarrassed of it.
yah Ryan I feel bad for you and your bad weather. let's see 5 days ago it was 30 degrees, maybe 10 at night. the next day it was a 10 degrees -4 at night with 30 miles an hour wind. it was so cold with the wind chill it felt like your breath was gone when you 1st walked outside. the next day was 25 degrees. today was 10 degrees. -13 on the way home and it felt warmer then the night with the wind chill. now that said, in a day or so it will be -30 and with the wind chill on top off that it's going to be damn cold. good thing January is almost done and we will only have a couple more weeks and it should start getting warmer. I hope
Hey Ryno ...always noticed all the musical instruments in the videos and even enjoyed your brief drum solo...I know from previous videos you take a liking to real non commercial country music....could you share some of your favorite bands Country & Rock perhaps even a favorite drummer or musician? Music and trucking just seem to go hand in hand.
To some people it's important, to some it's not. In order to buy a vehicle, I really have to love it and enjoy it but that's just me. My daily driver for 3 years was a 12 year old Jeep. Now I bought a 2 year old car that was not that expensive but has the looks and accessories, technology, etc of a luxury car. I am happy driving both and can appreciate them noatter what the price tag on them is
We use a old trucks for our company we just fee like a new truck in masonry gets too beat up I would feel bad to put one in. The trucks run great and nearing 300k
My ex used to tell me how much she hated my 99 ram because it was loud, dirty/beat up (daily driver and work truck so I can't say it wasn't beat up), and she just hated trucks all together so I literally bought a newer Civic just because she liked it. Never make the same mistake I did lol I hated driving a normal boring car so much I sold it as soon as we broke up for different reasons, now I just have a new clean ram for my "normal" car lol
I ride the bus to and from work but I do drive a 2016 Sierra 1500. I do this to mostly save money on gas but if I met a girl I would tell her I ride the bus and if we go on dates I'm gonna need a ride. If she sticks around after all that then I'll introduce her to my truck.
One plus side I see to keeping your bed trashy is that it might deter some people from stealing your dolly and things inside. also the water bottles make a lot of noise, therefore a built in alarm haha
Ryno, I think I speak for at least SOME of the rynonation here...we would like to "meet" your girlfriend sometime in a video! Ive heard you mention her throughout vidoes but have never seen her in one. I'm not sure if there is a reason and if its privacy I totally respect it...I just think it would be cool to "meet" this mysical rynos gf in a video haha! Regardless I'm glad to see the growth of the channel and happy for you that you are absolutely crushing it with everything from youtube to work. Job well done sir and greetings from da bayou down here in south Louisiana🤙🏻
See. I’m 17 and I own two cars. Both completely polar opposite of each other. My first car is well, not really a car, a truck rather, a 1989 GMC Sierra SLE; then there’s my second car, which I got when I had a new motor put into the truck, and it’s a 2003 VW New Beetle. The trucks an automatic and I’ll drive that thing with pride and joy. The beetle, however, is a 5 speed manual and honestly I’m quite embarrassed to even say I own a beetle as it’s not one of the older ones... I still feel pride and joy in the fact that’s it’s a manual but idk, I could be over exaggerating and being a “self-absorbed” brat but as soon as I saw the title of this video, I couldn’t click fast enough as I relate to the topic quite a bit even though I may have two vehicles...
We have tons of caulk guns at our shop we just buy the cheap ones cuz we know we're going to always buy them lose them forget them now that you're at Home Depot just buy another one

Was filing up and came out and watched a guy walk past my truck and throw his monster can in my bed. Grabbed it and threw it at him.
