I'm thinking they made the right decision to focus on the one playable dynamic experience and if the release is successful they'll have more resources to work on integrating the IJN campaign and fleshing out the unit roster
THAT is the way music in games should be. It takes the immersion factor to a whole new level. Being ex-Navy and Merchant Marine, and something of a history buff, esp. WW2, I am truly looking forward to this game.
The score here, including from your prototype main menu from 2 years ago is truly first-rate. I'm not a professional musician , but a "informed listener" , and it's very wonderful to hear. I hope you have more score for the game, and that this will be released in an official soundtrack if they all are of this quality. I hope we may see a game to try in 2024!
That is so awesome, the game is going to be something special! I hope we get access to those sweet camera (Modular) angles with the game releases. Also if I can heavily suggest at least the ability to manually steer ships would be amazing.
Very nice. Tracer fire is hard to see, hope they improve that. nothing more immersive than seeing thousands of tracers and explosions flying all around. Looking forward to purchasing hopefully this year. well done DryDock!
The water effects are really good and this brings back memories of sailing, I think this game is really nailing the details good and the speed of movements seems realistic. To see a battle build up and unwind in a realistic timing is great. I played allot of War in Pacific Admirals Edition and enjoy detailed models of ships, this game has both elements, I really am impressed and happy to watch your video. Oh yes, the music is very good indeed.
Looking good (particularly the ocean and water rendering and dynamics)! The big question for me is - how extensive will battle damage be rendered and modeled on both ships and planes?
A little suggestion: the US fighters usually won't pursuit the enemy aircrafts into the AA circle of fleet, so it's weird to see those IJN bombers being hit by both AAA and fighters.
In 1942 they sure did :) At Bougainville, Coral Sea, Midway... Sometimes to the very end, with obvious dramatic consequences for some of them, but that could not be helped.
My most anticipated game! This game will be used in historical documentaries to show how combat and tactics looked during battles in a similar war that Total War games were often used in History and Discovery channel shows to show ancient battles. We also need a real "Torpedo Beats" option to blast music when your ship evades torps. I guarantee there will be a game mod for this after release!
What a great passion project. I really look forward to playing this. I have been dreaming of a game like this since the old days of playing carrier at war. The last time this was tried was 15 years ago and it was a flawed ambitious game "pacific storm allies". I hope you folks can pick up where they left off. I know you don't have a strategic layer but I hope with success you folks will do something like that down the road.
I love to see this implementation of a music "director" ala Left 4 Dead. Clever video title too! Best of luck in the new year, I'm looking forward to seeing even more progress on this amazing game.
This is the only realistic WW2 carrier bases PC game in development for the last few years! Support the creators of the game on release by purchasing this epic game!
Besides the awesome cv and planes I’m also really curious about how will the surface battle or main battery look like and what part can we control. Hopefully there’ll be videos later as there are some bbs in game
I enjoy the music, although i wouldnt mind if the artist possibly reimagine aome aspects of some of the tracks. I definitely appreciate that the artist really contemplated what the soundscape would be. Overall however i would rate Sea Powers music above this one's, not that it matters lol.
I've been following your updates since almost your first post... I cant take this anymore give a release date :'(( Edit: The maneuver to avoid the torpedoes was excellent if done by the AI I'm amazed
So a torpedo bomber attack breaks DD formation? Are there subs in the game? Is it possible for a torpedo bomber attack be coordinated with a sub ambush?
Take your time and get it right but if you get a chance hurry up!
This game will be like playing a movie. Epic music!
The Hero Helmsman of New Orleans
I wonder what had been put in his coffee?
I personally really want to play the IJN, their ships look so elegant and beautiful. Props to the modellers, they did a great job
I'm thinking they made the right decision to focus on the one playable dynamic experience and if the release is successful they'll have more resources to work on integrating the IJN campaign and fleshing out the unit roster
Always appreciated dynamic music in games. Tie Fighter, USNF, Strike Commander are great examples. Great work!

Nice work! Looking forward to seeing more!
I am so excited for this, I love when games add dynamic soundtracks and just adds to the fun!

SH4 + Battlestations + IL-2 Birds of prey flashbacks
That was FANTASTIC!
I can only imagine what the nodding community will do to the game. Looking forward
This looks epic, sounds great. Cant wait for it to be released.
Memories of Battlestations: Pacific (And Midway)
I'm so getting this game when it comes out.
If you make it available I'm definitely buying the soundtrack.
The music reminds me of the game battlestation Pacific. Was a great game but yours is on another level.
And also, happy new year guys.
Whoa !😲
I don't care about the waiting time, the game is getting amazing, keep improving, I can't wait to play!
God I am a sucker for WW2 Orchestral music...SO GOOD
Looking good (particularly the ocean and water rendering and dynamics)!
The big question for me is - how extensive will battle damage be rendered and modeled on both ships and planes?
This is so cool....

Oh man, that was great! Ads nice atmosphere to the crazy dog fight and torpedo run
We need more dynamic battles and campaigns
Very nice update. Wonderful work you guys have done in 2023 and looking forward to 2024.
heavy battlestation pacific vibes here, love it.
BTW, i love so much the aa effects, and Happy new year
I will be excited to see this in 4K some day!
Looks amazing

Awesome. Amazing work. This game will be a masterpiece.

I kinda expected something else when I saw torpedo beats.
Besides the awesome cv and planes I’m also really curious about how will the surface battle or main battery look like and what part can we control. Hopefully there’ll be videos later as there are some bbs in game
Excited for this, can’t wait
Looks fantastic ! I Want ! Happy New year.
Gives me big FreeSpace 2 vibes :D
Most impressive
Wow!
Nice ocean effects , when will this game release in 2024
Will there ever be crewmen spotting planes and manning aa guns?
I enjoy the music, although i wouldnt mind if the artist possibly reimagine aome aspects of some of the tracks. I definitely appreciate that the artist really contemplated what the soundscape would be.

i need it

im out here both enjoying the gameplay and trying to figure out what class that cruiser is.
Overall, well done, and can't wait to buy this!
New Orleans class
New orleans
Very good, though i think there should be more soundtracks so it doesnt get too repetitive
A question.
Will we be able to just mess around and do custom battles with the ships we want?
I don t like the fact that when plane starts to burn it goes right to the water without pilots trying to land or something
Do you control the units or just watch them duke it out?
So a torpedo bomber attack breaks DD formation? Are there subs in the game? Is it possible for a torpedo bomber attack be coordinated with a sub ambush?
So release when?
Без людей на кораблях довольно грустно...
I hope the game allows deep modification.
Very great example are inspiration from Silent Hunter series concept, Very Great Job.
