As someone with autism and a whole range of stuff connected to it, I totally understand what Paul means about the pranking. It's hard to explain, but it makes be feel seen and accepted for who I am when my loved ones feel safe enough to joke about it. Because the trust has to go both ways for it to work. The person joking/pranking needs to trust the one with the condition to always understand that it comes from a place of love. ❤
I live with my autistic son and his autistic partner. I have adhd and I am visually impaired and will go blind within a few years. We give each other shit constantly. Life would be boring otherwise.
I think it's because it makes you feel "normal", if there is such a thing. It says a lot about you in that you can make light of your struggles and have some fun with it. We are all imperfect and have our own issues, I love joking and having fun about those things to level the playing field. 🙂
@@angelawossnamewhy are you doing this, this makes me so sad. I have adhd, nld and glaucoma. My boyfriend has a visual impairement and I guess, he is also severe autistic. He sometimes critisises me a lot. He isn't an easy charakter. I told him not to do that and to stop with that. I know he really loves me and wants the best for me, I also love him very much and I want the best for him. Try all to be friendly to each other certainly if you will turn blind one day. I know autism isn't easy and I know people with autism can be very harsch to people especially people with adhd because they are very different. But everybody needs to be nice to each other live is difficult enough if you have a disability.
I also looovvveee the reaction of Mr. Maple. When Paul fell and MM had his cane in his mouth I laughed so hard! I think he is totally part of, and engaged on a different level with these two humans.
Goldens and labs are the more common breeds to be trained to be guide dogs. One of my close friends is married to a woman who’s legally blind and has a yellow lab, Barry Manillow. He is her second guide dog, the first, Wisdom, also a lab, having to be retired because the smoke from the forest fires in California harmed her eyes so she wouldn’t have been able to work. I loved her, she was so sweet, very lovey and adorable. When she was off the harness she licked my hands for fifteen minutes and wouldn’t leave my side. I’ve seen other breeds as therapy dogs but goldens and labs are more common because of their high intelligence and love for people. I’m so happy you have such a sweet, adorable pup, he’s the best ❤
@@CrisOnTheInternet German Shepards are probably also a very popular breed for GSD, I know they are for military/police dogs; because of their strong sense of smell and intelligence they’re used to detect bombs and drugs at airport security and weapons in areas occupied by the US military. But because of their intelligence, loyalty, and sweet nature, they can be good guide dogs
Backpacks with a lot of space in them are such a life-saver when doing groceries without a car. Load up all the heavy stuff in the backpack and you don't have to worry about accidentally crushing the softer stuff or deal with the strain on both your arm and your hand from trying to carry something too heavy. Camping backpacks are fantastic for grocery shopping. Multiple compartments means more safe space for soft stuff, and the backpack is purpose built for carrying large volumes and heavy loads comfortably for long treks. Also, helps a lot to carry reusable bags (always good to be environmentally friendly) with comfortable handles, and one or two that you can hang over the shoulder. I'd use my gym bag, so I could swing the long strap over my head. Hands free, comfortable, and lots of space. Sometimes I'd even go double, gym bag on one side, reusable bag with a long strap over the other. And my hands were still free! Of course that would be one heck of a workout haha. Had more than enough carry volume to load myself with more weight than I could carry.
Maple is absolutely the sweetest dog I’ve seen and I’ve been around a lot of dogs. He’s so sweet and happy. Brings me peace just looking at his precious face ❤!

Buses can be a pain, I remember getting on a bus at night (I have no night vision at all) and I ended up in a strange part of the city and panicking on how I would get home. My colleagues would prank me by standing on my blind side and everytime I had eye surgery and returned to work, they would sing "I can see clearly now". That song got rather boring so I made a song list with lyrics for them of songs that spoke about vision eg Double Vision by Foreigner needless to say the singing stopped lol. I think you two are brilliant and I love how Matthew can play pranks with a straight face too.
I’m Swedish and I have never filled out a form for medical stuff. Not even as a kid in the 80s it was needed. We had these plastic cards with raised letters they put under the paper and then ink on top so it stamped the info from the card. Now it’s all digital. I just sign in with my “personal number” (similar to security number) on a screen in the waiting room and it says what time my appointment is and that I’m checked in. Not sure what they do for blind people but I’m sure there’s a solution. Worst case you can ask someone to enter your number for you.
I think it’s amazing the teasing and pranking is done in love, and as a viewer I watch because you can see the silliness and the love in the prank… In NO way do any of us watch it because we know you are not in anyway making fun Paul … WE ALL SEE THE AMAZING LOVE BETWEEN BOTH OF YOU.. I see the sweetness that comes from both of you and lucky you both are to of found each other… Perfect … AND THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR LIFES WITH THE WORLD… 💋 💋 ♥️♥️🐕💋♥️
The signature guide is available in a format that fits in the same wallet slots as credit cards etc, so you can both carry one each on you every time you go out.
The most comfortable guide is your partner ... 🥰 Because he always cares about you and talk to you and tell you about the everything in the way ..💯 and also makes you laugh
I love you guys and Mr. Maple so much❤ It's just wonderful to hear your stories and laugh together with you. And I'm totally into the bus stories and also the elevator stories😂 Could be a series😉 And also I wanna say I'm sorry for your loss Paul. Your brother is always with you❤❤
Paul - We just received your precious calendar and it’s just too adorable and lovely for words!!! And it arrived so quickly! Must have your books for our two little next! Thanks so much!
There's a type of signature block card that's the size and shape of a credit card that fits into a standard wallet. Matthew's description about the cut out is correct. It just gets laid over a signature line and then you just sign within the cut out.
One of the things I've noticed about pranks is that their usually at home. Or just you 2 😊 Also love that Maple made it into the top 3 😁 We knew pranks was gonna be there, but it's still also good to see the things Matthew does for Paul that he really appreciates 😊

You can use a business card as a substitute for a signature block. Just line up the left edge where you start to sign, and the card goes under the signature line. You do T need to spend $10 on a signature block.
I never get tired of watching you two simply enjoying each others' company, no matter what you're talking about. You are so perfectly suited. (BTW I'm commenting here even though I watch the extended episode on Patreon because you see to have stopped responding to comments on Patreon. Or am I missing something?) Whatever. Love you guys!
When I'm sad, I just watch you both and you guys just put a smile right on my face. I hope I'll have the fortune to bump into both of you on the streets of Seattle one day!
This channel has been really positive for me. I’m really glad you two have each other, it’s very rare to have two people compliment each other so well. Both my partner and I have our own disabilities and idiosyncrasies, but fortunate for us we usually can compensate for each other. He makes sure I understand what is being said because I have neurological disorders one of which affects my ability to process sound, I struggle with verbal communication and the constant ringing in my ears, he relies on the fact that my vision is far superior to find things, color match and make out writing. He is the one who can drive and I’m the one who can locate where sound is coming from, but he is far superior when it comes to matching pitch, though I don’t really play any instruments anymore. I’m short so he gets me things out of reach and I fix tech issues. I’m amazing at cooking and he’s superior at cleaning. We both deal with chronic pain, but come from different generations, cultures and life experiences, ultimately we work towards bringing out the best in each other and helping each other grow. I m good at forgetting and he’s good at reminding. When one person is stressed the other can bring a sense of calm. I’m glad you point out when pranking is ok and when it’s not. I love the pranks here, they are truly some of the most wholesome some ones I’ve seen. They are on the same level as cats being goofy and dogs being cute videos. It’s really refreshing in our world controlled by algorithms to create the most outrage, just to distract from real issues, to offer products as solutions to systemic issues and ultimately commodifying attention spans to create profits.
Omg, why do I love you 3 so much?! You're beautiful wonderful people and I love being included into your lives. Please stay strong in love! Paul, I'm sad to hear about your brother. I lost one 2 years ago as well as my sister and mom. May you heal the best you can.
Hi guys! I just want to tell you that I, spoiler alert.....recently, (as recent as 3 days ago) discovered your channel and you NEED TO KNOW I personally ADORE you both. Matthew is so mischievously cunning (I aspire to be so cunning) and Paul so adorably gullible..... IT JUST WORKS!!! How beautiful it is to see untainted, indiscriminate PURE love. Too bad most people are opportunists so all they know is how to get over on the next person etc...... may God continue to bless you both!!

Matthew Paul is lucky to have you in his life.😊 You guys make the best couple. Love you guys. I can't wait to see the video.😊❤
Seeing your spouse’s blemishes becomes no big deal. Especially after you go through cancer together. It’s the most wonderful thing to have someone with whom you can be completely yourself.
I have a number of friends who are visually impaired, or legally blind, and I am often their driver. I have learned to give a commentary on what is going on outside the car-an upcoming bumpy road or very heavy traffic, or whatever. This helps my companion adjust for potholes, or stop and go movements. I have also learned how to give ongoing aids when walking with one of my friends. If a sidewalk is not even, I will say, “Stop, there is a bump on the sidewalk that is an inch and a half high,” or tell them how tall a curb is, or that the sidewalk goes down now. I am so much more aware of how to help a visually impaired person navigate now, and am honored to be able to assist them.
I get when Matthew says it's a challenge maneuvering a 'wide load' of people walking side by side when being a sighted guide. Can we, as sighted pedestrians, help in some way when on the streets with visually impaired people?
I think just getting out of their way, so that they don't have to get out of yours, is probably the most helpful thing to do. And not distracting them or speaking to them unnecessarily when they may be for instance busy counting their steps.
I wanna help you prank Paul! If ever come to NYC can show you around and point things out to you that you might not know or have noticed when you were here if wanted. My favorite pranks so far is the one with the million panguins and Maple as a lion! He looked so cute in the lion custom! Such a good cute doggo boy!
I'm in the UK, one of the things people can have here is a stamp of their signature, not just for blind people, if you have Parkinson's or arthritis your signature may be inconsistant. There are also writing frames, basically a card similar to a credit card but with an oblong punched out, you place this over the signature box, there is also a guide line which I think is elastic. I LOVE Matthew's pranks, they are funny, never mean, and I love Paul's 'MATHEEEEEW'.
Paul, I hear you about signing forms. As someone who has a disability and difficulty writing, I have a signature stamp with my name on it for signing stuff, Mathew can guide your hand over to the line, and you can stamp it. Also, have you ever considered making Matthew your Durable Power of Attorney, then he can do basically anything for you including filling out and even signing forms for you!
I think the cutout-for-signature-thing could be easily done with an old credit card Just cut out the rectangle with a boxcutter then you also wouldn't have to worry about carrying it with you since it easily fits into a wallet :)
As someone with autism and a whole range of stuff connected to it, I totally understand what Paul means about the pranking. It's hard to explain, but it makes be feel seen and accepted for who I am when my loved ones feel safe enough to joke about it. Because the trust has to go both ways for it to work. You two and Maple are the sweetest family. ❤️
You both have such beautiful smiles ! You both exude so much love for each other it’s wonderful to see
Thank you so much!
Love you two ❤❤❤ You are spreading love and positivity so much, my heart is so warm after watching you two.
Thank you so much!!
I think it’s amazing the teasing and pranking is done in love, and as a viewer I watch because you can see the silliness and the love in the prank… In NO way do any of us watch
it because we know you are not in anyway making fun Paul … WE ALL SEE THE AMAZING LOVE BETWEEN BOTH OF YOU..
I wish we had a bunch of little groceries instead if only mega stores. It would be so nice to shop for what you need that day and have fresh veggies.
Somehow, I knew Matthew's number 3 would be the pranks he can pull on Paul. I love this video
❤️❤️❤️
There's a type of signature block card that's the size and shape of a credit card that fits into a standard wallet. Matthew's description about the cut out is correct. It just gets laid over a signature line and then you just sign within the cut out.
When it comes to pranks, embarrassment is kind of a given. I don't like when people fall or get injured. Love you guys!
Always look forward to watching your videos. Love you guys 👍👍👍👍❤❤
Thanks so much
I love you all's relationship. It is refreshing to see true love and Matthew helps Paul so much. I'm aromantic, but it's still so touching. ❤❤
I love seeing the pranks 😂 and you two are so sweet together in your videos
You guys match each others energy so well ❤
Love you two ❤ please give Mr. Maple some extra treats for me…hugs to all 🤗🫶🏼🤗
It is lovely to see such a loving and happy couple, may you have a long and happy life together.
You two are just so wonderful Thankyou for the upload.
Glad you enjoyed it
You two make me so happy. I can see the love between you and hope one day we all find that kind of love
For Halloween, both of you should go as Bert and Ernie.
Thank you so much!
I always look forward to your videos!
Glad you like them!
Love you two and Mr Maple of course 💖 and love these kind of videos it is so insightful to listen to you both and how you interact.
Everytime i watch a video from you all i can think of is "couple goals".
You guys are awesome. I love watching from Australia. The pranks are awesome 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
There's not much to say. Just that you two are really cute. I love that smile and the laughs. Lots of health and luck in life to you. Including Maple too. Kisses from Brazil.
This is gonna be very interesting and so sweet. I'm curious to hear and see what Matthews answers are about being married to someone someone who is blind! Matthew kudos to you. You're the best. Matthew Paul is lucky to have you in his life.😊 You guys make the best couple. Love you guys. I can't wait to see the video.😊❤
New to your channel! You are beautiful together and you bring a smile! x
Thank you, Matthew, for the pranks ❤
OMG MR MAPLE IS A LAB. I always thought he was a golden retriever 😱
Yes, the long face confused me
7:20 Matthew: "I can see that..." 😅
Seeing your spouse’s blemishes becomes no big deal. Especially after you go through cancer together. It’s the most wonderful thing to have someone with whom you can be completely yourself.
It’s always nice to tune into your videos ❤
❤❤I love you guys! Thanks for sharing your wonderful life with everyone...🙋♀️🐾🐾 You do marriage really well-- marvelous example for everyone! 🕊🕊👣👣
You guys are so adorable, together! Mr. Maple is so cute!
Always!!!! Lovely Ones!!!!
Hey I am new to this channel, love it, it's great,❤
Thanks for subbing!
I love the way you split your free vs patreon content
I love this little family so much ❤
Yup, we need city bus stories! Paul! 😂
I hate pranks because I have anxiety and the prank scars me to death!!
I'm gonna bet one of the benefits is, I can prank him easily.
I totally agree with the web forms being so confusing. It feels intimidating. Google Forms are still more streamlined.
Also, the pranks sre generally within your own home. I love the one ehen Mathew keeps putting food on Paul's plate.
I’m so sorry about your brother, Paul. Labs are my favorite type of dog, so I love that maple is a lab!!!
You 2 are so sweet!
😊 thank you
You guys are great!!
I think the cutout-for-signature-thing could be easily done with an old credit card
Just cut out the rectangle with a boxcutter
then you also wouldn't have to worry about carrying it with you since it easily fits into a wallet :)
it's always great to have a "service human" when you cannot take your service dog along ! y'all are so great!
Love you guys... 💕🐕💜
Ok - who is responsible for the matching shirts :) love you two!
What about a signature stamp? You’d just have to stamp it on the paper!
yall are so friggin SWEET
