- In a recent EA Earnings call, EA CEO Andrew Wilson solidified that the next installment of Battlefield will indeed be a Live Service game, and according to him, quite tremendous! 🙄

That's it. I'm done with BF moving forward if the next title is a Live Service. They've PROVEN they can't handle it and despite the player feedback, they're going to double-down on live services. I'm not suffering through another disaster of a live service game. They can fuck right off with that.

Its been a wild ride.. and i agree with you i just want a battlefield game with no or little micro transactions.. bring back dlcs .. have armies instead of skins ... Thats what i liked about bf1 aswell you had the germans talking german etc etc these are small but awesome details adding to the immersion. Also imo battlefield should become more realistic but yea now we already know it will be a live service game like 2042 and this makes me worried if they wreck it like they did with 2042 battlefield deserves to be buried imo
@@D32music I just don't understand how management could be this absolutely fucking stupid or imcompotent. Did they not once see the dumpster fire that is 2042 while developing this newest game and say: "Hey, maybe we shouldn't do that for this next game?"
They saw the past successes of Battlefield and said "Nah, this will work better because we can make more money! Just hold another live event and steer them towards the store!" They could have had such an easy lay-up because they had such an awesome, well-loved formula from the past titles! I'm genuinely baffled how BF can be this badly mismanaged for so long.
I hate to say it...but I think the Battlefield we knew and loved is dead and not coming back, just like Call of Duty. This is our future now and I really wish it wasn't.

Somehow even 2042 is more fun then the latest cod and that says alot about what EA is actually doing too .
Since cod is going for more realism battlefield has been more arcady this is what is the biggest problem in battlefield i dont see being mentioned enough.
I get battlefield was always a arcade shooter but it always used to feel more realistic then call of duty with everything going on. If they put back destruction like the old games with a kind of milsim like feel to it in a modern setting i feel like thats where battlefield needs to go.

Battlefield 2042 makes me really miss Battlefield 3. Three was the golden example for me, didn't play 4 or 1 so I can not attest to those but 3 for me is the standard.
For me, bf4 was the best (played bf 2, 3, bc2, 4, 2042 and that future bf, I think 2142)

@@nyphon I was, and I had the premium version that had a LOT more content than we have had now. At least back then I thought it to be money well spent.

@@Kahuna169 well yea.. you spent 60 bucks plus 15 per map pack, which accounting for inflation is WAY more than you spent on live services now (considering that price is literally zero for major content like maps and weapons..)

"Tremendous" in the context of QEC probably means that the in-game store will have a lot of compelling content to sell. Let's hope this does not mean that some aspects of the game will be behind a paywall.
Would be sick if they brought back premium and let premium owners get their hands on new content 1-2 weeks in advance instead of what we have now

After suffering the unsportsmanlike antics of a heli-farmer from the first day of release on the Oceania servers in 2042. Who is "still" the first thing that greets new players that purchase the game, just to be farmed and not able to spawn or move. I most definitely will not be pre-ordering, if even, purchasing the next one unless they come up with some way of giving the main spawn A.A defence's. Or rewriting the airspace so they cannot get behind or over it.
They need a lesson in how to lay out their store content. Battlefield 2042 cosmetics for their operators was all over the place. Couldn't even find what you need for the operator you wanted to use!
Friends and family will be pleased, as it means I'll play less if they screw up again.
Skipped everything between BF4 and 2042. The latter was bought on sale just before they fck'd it up with grouping the specialists, making my main almost useless and me actually regretting buying it.
And for god's (yeah, I spell it without cap G) sake, skip shit like grappling hooks, wingsuits and "wall hack" vision next time!

Look…guys I think we need to be as realistic as possible here. No matter what, dice is going to screw this up. The devs that worked on and brought us Battlefield 3 and 4 are no longer at dice. If the next game is going to be a live service, it should be free. And if it’s not, we don’t buy it. no harm no foul.
What we can’t let happen is the casual player base having delusional opinions on what the next game should be.

I would like to see multiple eras represented and a server browser, and I'd like it to all run as well as BF4 on my five year old laptop :)

Live service is a way to guarantee content. Content missing under the pretense that we didn't pay for it or shit like that since there seems to be a lot of shims that will pay the most expensive version that they can pre-order and justify everything.
I have been very critical with 2042 and thanks to the ppl that is like us the game have improved, still way far to what it should be but right now it is in a version that could be okaish for launch.
Anyway if they didn't fix the input bugs and the new BF has a playable version it confirms my suspicious that the new BF is going to have the same problems than this and new ones.
If they choose to be delusional and continue with this it is fantastic, or the one that I liked a lot, it is ahead of schedule, the disaster will be guaranteed.

I quit BF long time ago and recently quit COD as well, they are just all about skins, sales and money nowadays, better find some games that respect the players more who actually deserver our money, don't be sheeps guys.
We are already at Defcon 2 with the next Battlefield game, and it hasn't even been announced yet.
Can anyone remember when Andrew Wilson said that Battlefield 2042 was ahead of development schedule? Boy, he must have been so shocked when Battlefield 2042 released in the broken state it did. I'd like to believe the next Battlefield game can be better (and Vince Zampella might be the man to just prove that as the head of the Battlefield franchise), but there genuinely seems no fact stated that supports that notion yet. I'm backing myself now by stating that Battlefield's marketing team will do a great job at promoting the game, creators and players will get sucked in again and the cycle will just repeat itself.
Imo the only title that did live service right was BFV. Even tho that still was a disaster. Justice for BFV ✊🏾😔

Shouldn't release new Battlefield game first, continue Battlefield 1 and 5 where they left off. BF4 DE where all DLCs bundles turning into normally by acquiring scores, maps vote, 120 FPS at 1120P quality, fov sliders, redesigning HUD etc

Hello GhostGaming hope your day is well I know I've asked you on a previous video if you were making a video on what kind of Battlefield game you would want and such and I was wondering what are your top three titles thst you'd want such as something like Cold War, WWlll, WWll or some different time period maybe something similar to Battlefield 2142.
One of the Battlefield titles that I'd like to see is another WWll I can't get enough of it I can understand why people wouldn't want another WWll game after there's been BFV but I feel like it missed some parts that could've made it super good and virtually a WWll BF1 basically.
Now I don't know much about MP or BR so I'd rather leave that up to someone who knows that type of gameplay and I'll just talk about the campaign.

I am aware that this is about 6 too many stories but this is just to kinda show the potential a game could have for those lesser known or very well known battles that happened in the war in a perfect world I'd want a campaign with every battle in the war but it would take too much work and I could not imagine how many GB it would require for all of those.
Next BF means NO PRE ORDERING, NO BUYING before we are not very very sure it will not be a release failiure like BF5 or BF2042!!!!!! FU** their trailers!

it still makes me sad how bad 2042 on release was and still is, being in love with the older gems, having high expectations, preordering the game and looking forward to playing it for years like i did with the other ones, how wrong, disappointed and heart broken i was to see my beloved game in such a horrible state, my hopes will rise slightly again but my expectations are so low im prepared for another pile of dog shit, but just maybe Dice can pull one out of the bag and bring us back to former glory.
