We had a crumbl open up near us in Myrtle Beach not long ago and I stopped inside to see what all the hype was about because I had heard about them. As soon as I saw the price for a single cookie and the 6 pack I was like gtfo! We went home later that night and I made homemade chocolate chip cookies which were🔥🔥🔥 and ended up with a ton of extra cookies and dough for later!
Hii! I used to work at Crumbl. Honestly, I do think they are a little overrated. Don't hate them but I would much rather bake cookies from scratch at home:). What I can say is that Crumbl had a great work environment and sanitation was great. Also, everything is made from scratch, no Betty Crocker:) I know so cause I mixed all day🙃haha. Anywaysss...Love your videos!💞
I'm with you Jess. Crumbl is over rated and over priced. And they didn't even look done. A good old Toll House Cookie is the best. And when I'm feeling beuagy I throw in some pecans! 🍪🍪🍪🍪
I came to say the same thing about the box cake mix. My work always has a box of their cookies each week and they just don't look good at all. I also just don't like giant cookies because they don't bake correctly which as Jess pointed out isn't great.
NOT TRUE!! I used to work for Crumbl. I was actually a mixer. And everything is HOMEMADE. You measure EVERYTHING out yourselves. Including cracking eggs. Like you don’t have to like crumble. But Don’t make up lies!!!
Never tried Crave, but Crumbl cookies seem to have at least a stick of butter per cookie. And yet very sweet. Not much of a red velvet fan, however that is my favorite Crumbl cookie so far. Way too expensive. It's new in my community, but at that price it will soon become a "treat" only. Not an everyday thing

The crumbl cookie didn't look done enough to me..and the crumbl cookie with a box cake base will taste more like a sugar cookie than a traditional chocolate chip cookie.

I think it depends on the cookie. I have had mixed reactions depending on the cookie. I loved the French toast, because it reminded me of a good French toast in a cookie. However, I agree with there sugar cookies I wasn’t a fan, and have better. I don’t have them every week so I think it really is a hit or mix, and what your tastes are.

I live in Logan, Utah where Crumbl started. We don't have a "Crave" bakery that I know of, so I wouldn't be able to compare anyway. We do have Twisted Sugar, but I don't like straight sugar cookies anyway. I like the peanut butter Nutella and sometimes their "monthly" flavors. I get the weekly flavors at Crumbl sometimes, but not every week.

If you always try to cover up the actual cookie taste and texture with too many things, it tells me that your actual cookie base is lacking. I also prefer my cookies cooked.
I have heard that Crumbl uses Betty Crocker cake mix in their cookies. And I believe there is a picture of the cake mix boxes beside a mixer at one of their shops. Don't know how true that is but that's the rumor going around.
I can tell the first chocolate chip cookies looks great to eat girls. Nice episode. I am picky about my cookies so I really have to taste it and make sure there not to much frosting

I don't know if there is a Crave cookie store near me but we do have Crumbl. Their sugar cookies are available each week is good. Not a big fan of the choc. chip. I prefer a thinner crispy outside and a soft inside for CC cookies. The pumpkin spice cookie they had this week was very good. I didn't try the other ones. I'm not one of those "get everything pumpkin spice" people, but the cookie looked good. They had lemon cookies a few times that I liked and a few peanut butter ones and the choc. brownie cookie. That recent week of cereal-themed cookies didn't seem great to me and from what I saw in reviews they weren't. If I see one that looks like it would be up my alley I will try it but I'm not buying 4 kinds of giant cookies each week. It's too expensive to do that. I usually will cut the cookie in half and share it with my husband. It might be fun to try all the different brands of chocolate chip cookies you can get in the store and see who comes out on top. Packaged and the kind you bake could be two different categories or even videos.
I had a friend send me crave cookies and they were incredible. We have a crumbl here but it’s just not good I live in the south I can walk down the street and get 1000 cookies that taste 10 times better for a quarter of the price. crave cookies I would definitely pay that price for if only we had one here
I have not tried Crave. Now I am curious about the lawsuit and I am going to research the situation. I have recently discovered Crumbl and I am a very big fan of their cookies. They look better presented than the Crave brand but I will be trying Crave, Twisted Sugar and Dirty Dough soon. I do feel that the comments and this whole video dragged Crumbl through the mud. I never knew that they used cake box cake base nor have I confirmed that to be true. Crumbl has made cookies that are the best I have had in my life! I love that Crumbl presents a good aesthetic cookie and that they are so big that you’ll have more for later. A box will last at least all week- even if I do overindulge them. I don’t think the Crave cookies looked as fancy or large but I am excited to see how they compare for myself.

The only cookie that I have liked from Crumbl is their lemon cookie. Other than that I was not impressed. Also when you go in the store, it's like an assembly like of teenagers making multiple cookies. And they seem like they are not cooked completely. I haven’t had Crave, but I have had Crumbl. I didn’t like any of the cookies I tried. They all had a weird flavor. The chocolate chip had milk chocolate chips and was overly sweet. It was definitely doughy. I had a French silk chocolate cookie that was horrible.
I tried a small piece of crumble cookie an was not impressed. It was dry and had a really strong baking powder taste also a bad aftertaste. So I will stick to making my own cookies at home.

Coming from zero experience with either of these companies, I will say I myself prefer a crunchy cookie on the less sweet side of things, so these are not for me. but let me tell you the WORST cookie I ever ate was a gluten free mess that was like eating lemon flavored sand. (not naming the brand here) yikes-i feel for anyone who has to eat gluten free.

That's what happens when you make giant cookies. I've never had a giant cookie from a bakery that was baked correctly and not slightly raw. I'd rather have normal sized cookies that aren't made with box cake mix.
Crumbl is vastly overrated and overpriced (especially for using BOX cake????). But I will say that none of those Crave cookies looked appetizing either. 😅 I think I’d rather just have something savory, haha.

I agree with Jess about the thick doughy cookies. I think they're a fun novelty but regular sized cookies are just so much better.

I hate crumbl. I ate a cookie and realized it had like 6 tablespoons of sugar in it and it misled me by listing 1/4th of a cookie in the pictures
