Good comprehensive review! Thanks for the Haven coverage; I didn't have access to Haven when I cruised on the Bliss in August so it was a welcome treat to get a sneak peek! The Bliss was, and still is, my favorite ship I've ever cruised on and I cruise several times a year.
We were just on this ship cruising the Mexican Rivera 10-27 thru 11-3 and stayed in the Haven. Absolutely beautiful. Was watching for our favorite bartenders at the Haven lounge and did not see them. I guess they must have some time off. :)
@@TripswithAngie It did fill the room that is for sure. I could always tell when they made one walking down the hallway. You missed out. One bartender made one with blood orange and cognac infused cherries. Very yummy.
Love your video. Changed plans from cruising on Breakaway 8/2020 (Canada/New England) to Bliss 4/2020 (Bahamas) recently. Luckily was able to reserve the last available Haven Forward-Facing suite which happen to be the one in your video (Suite 10106)😃. I prefer higher decks and the balcony is small but the suite looks nice and roomy. Past 7/2019 I had my first experience in the Escape Haven in a Penthouse Courtyard Suite which was very nice with a larger balcony but the room was smaller than expected. Once you go Haven it’s hard to go back! Look forward to cruising on this newer ship. Thank you for the tour.
Very Nicely done. I went on this cruise last year to Alaska and had a blast. You pointed out a few things that we did not find while on the cruise. Would have been nice to have shown some of the other cabins Like the inside rooms for others that are on a smaller budget. But thank you for posting over all a GREAT job!
@@TripswithAngie Yep we have booked an LA to New York on N Bliss 21 nights: looking at inside cabin where will u put your clothes?? Might have to do laundry ashore!! Not allowed to bring water onboard!! Thought MSC had its problems. Help!
@@katrinadewar9953 I'm sure your travel agent has great tips for you on how to make the most of the space in the cabin you booked. You can pay for laundry service on the Bliss. We also bring quick dry underwear and socks so those are easy to wash and dry in the cabin. We tend to wear the same clothes over and over - especially swimsuit cover ups and our dinner outfits. Have a great time! That will be an amazing cruise!

Hell NO! That slide looks scary. I would do the other one and for sure the go carts and laser tag. I am happy that they extended the sun canopy over spice h2o, because that was our favorite bar on the Escape.

Haha a NO for me too on the slide, no thank you. What are the round ball things on a stand? Hand sanitizer? I wouldn't pay extra for baked goods when they have them free at the other places. How much are things in the gift stores? Pricey?

Why so long covering the Haven area and then 2 seconds looking down on Vibe Beach Club ("down there is Vibe, an extra fee area. Later!") and then you walk right past the entrance, don't even peek in.
My husband and I cruised Bliss in January of this year and we will not be going back. The only thing we enjoyed were the shows. OBVIOUSLY if you are traveling in the Haven, you're accommodations are great. Our steward went 3 days without cleaning our room. My husband asked for chocolate covered strawberries as a treat for me THAT NEVER CAME. They messed up our sign & sail cards, wiped all the money off mine, added it to my husband's & then deducted it from our credit card we had on file. It was a nightmare. Bingo was 1 hour long at $50 per person. The last game was four corner bingo which was over in 30 seconds. Deal or no Deal was $50 per PERSON. NOTHING was free. Not even the shows. On other cruises those are included. The ship LOOKS glorious but everywhere you walk people are in your face asking to take your picture for "keepsake memories". They even block the staircase to get to the casino because couples are posing on them. There aren't enough elevators so be prepared to wait. EVERYTHING IS OVERPRICED & THE FOOD AT SPECIALTY RESTAURANTS ARENT WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY! Eat at the buffet. Teppankyi was THE ONLY good specialty restaurant. Good luck.
Thanks for your feedback. A lot of your frustrations could have been eliminated by a travel agent explaining what is included and what is not. This ship is not for everyone and it sounds like it wasn't a good match. Most people book under a promotion that includes specialty dining so they don't pay by the item. I agree the prices by the item are similar to an upscale restaurant. While shows do require reservations, only one show has an extra charge because it's a dinner show. The lack of cleaning and problems with your sail and sign card is unacceptable.
Love the handwashing sinks at the entrance to the buffet! All restaurants everwhere should have that 😀

They likely were not on the ship yet. This was filmed on the cruise repositioning from the Alaska season to Los Angeles.

I agree! I think that is one of the best perks of the Haven. It's one of the few places on a big cruise ship you can have a la carte lunch every day.

Yes!! That slide is TOO much. Laser Tag was really fun. I loved that you couldn't die. You had to run back and recharge but you could keep playing.

Yes!! Another rational person. Yes. It's hand sanitizer..I thought the t-shirts were expensive but they have sales throughout the cruise.
I was really enjoying the tour and the sound just quit. This was about 17:30 into it.
I'm not having a problem with it. I don't talk the whole time. I'll double check it from a computer

we have the haven reservations but we are traveling with a 4 year old and a year old, is that a problem in the haven pool area?
Why would it be a problem? The Haven pool is all ages. Are you worried about your child falling in?
