I think the biggest unanswered question in Vrains is what the hell happened behind the scenes of this show. Switching directors, plot points brought up and then dropped, characters changing on a dime, some characters losing horribly with no redemption, others not even speaking, despite having speeches in the past. Soulburner and Blood Sheppard's duel being interupted, and then Blood Sheppard holding Emma at gun point, only for that to go nowhere. Playmaker and Revolver don't even duel past season 1, that is friggin unbelievable. Yusaku's 3 things characteristic completely vanished. It was just like wtf. All culminating in a way shorter Yugioh show.
For a card game that makes billions and billions of dollars, its tv show should not have this much shit going on.
P.S. I didn't even remember Yusaku had something called Link Sense.

Nabee will become a real-life card. One that will be designed in a way that it would have let Pandora win or at least tie in her duel against Ai.

SOL‘s best duelists were the bounty hunters that were ftk‘ed by playmaker. so how to make a competitive tournament?
Nowhere to be seen and I'm glad we didn't have one. I really dislike tournament arcs in anime.
@@ANTHONYACUNA1 besides being overdone, I just don't find the concept of a tournament all that interesting, most of the time it consist of main character/villain going against a throwaway character that isn't relevant to the plot and who will never appear again after that; you know who's going to win, you know in the finals is going to be MC vs main villain with a fight against the main rival somewhere along the way.
It's lazy writing as the author can just fill the time with a random fight instead of progressing the story and characters in a meaningful way.

Earth was inside bohman cus when playmaker beat go onizuka ai took some of earths data that sol tehnologies put in him and then ai gave it to aqua so when bohman beat blue maiden ge took earths data too
I'm suprised that you didnt talked about why Ai spared Pandora and Revolver's talk with Pandora on this subject.

It really frustrated me to see the show end early with those unanswered questions, maybe one day we'll get those answers. Heck I'd love a VRAINS reboot
If not a DBZKai treatment of the original series, then Vrains needs a reboot more than any other Yu-Gi-oh series.

Would Yusaku and Aoi develop a genuine friendship? Besides being allies...I was disappointed over the lack of friendship moments and ship tease....we only get subtle implication that Aoi may have developed a crush on Yusaku...and Yusaku has a clear soft spot for her...I wanted to see more of those type of moments....so disappointed with that. I know it's not that type of series...but all potential pairings had that type of stuff....and with the way this ended...I hope series 7 is a continue of the series...or a cross over...I want more of these characters.
Vrains ended probably the most unanswered. I would've loved to see Queen, King and Bishop I was for sure they were gonna be more bigger
I feel like we would have seen them, if Vrains didn't end on episode 120...
I was thought if Arc-V is the worst. Now, it's not. Thx to Vrains series.

Actually, Yugi's mom is in Duel monsters. I know she shows up in the manga at least, but I think she is in the anime too for a brief scene.
Simmlex she was edited out of the English dub for some reason
We see her in two episodes actually. But one of those two scenes was cut in the dub. The one scene where she appears (in sub and dub anime) is at the very end of S1 when Yugi goes to the hospital to get his grandpa back. She is seen just behind Sugoroku Muto (but doesn't talk).
I'm still upset how they pushed aside Queen and other higher ups of SOL. They were build up like final antagonists, but aside from Queen, the others never showed up in person.

@@dariohieras9186 Not really, they were scenes that showed Ai beginning to hate humans during S2, one in particular was when Revolver told Playmaker and Ai of the death of Earth. There was always the potential SOL Tech villain route until right up until the Lightning and Revolver duel, which basically killed off that plot route.
I interpreted it to be the case when it was shown that he could lie to Yusaku early in the show.

An unanswered question that was missed is : What was Windy’s true personality/character like before Lightning corrupted him?
I think his personality would be similar to how he acted when Yusaku and soulburner first met him
I know Ive been saying this a lot, but we need a vrains manga that continues where the anime left off, just to tie any loose ends

Yeah true, Ai was responsible for it but how did he move physical cards in the real world
@@YugiohEverything yeah, in one of the very first episodes, we can see Decode Talker being 'printed out' thanks to the Data Storm or whatever. Since Ai is responsable for the Data Storm, he probably did the same for the whole Cyberse Deck.
While I can't answer these questions, I can say that this video looks like a much higher quality video (your videos were already high quality) it seemed to flow smother the visuals and the graphics looked good, I don't know what you did but good job this was a great video

My biggest question about the series is one I’ve had ever since episode 11. When Playmaker first summons Firewall, Dr. Kogami immediately recognises the card and makes a comment about recognising it. Definitely makes me think something more plot related was in store for Firewall originally.
Then the actual firewall dragon was hate so much it was banned and decode talker replaced it as yusaku's ace. Or so I've heard/assumed. Though the actual card being hated is true.
@bruhmanofyear2647 assuming decode talker was always intended to be his ace then yeah it never got replaced. As I said I might not have all the details correct.

I think Yusaku's link sense might be his ability to sense spirits or be an esper, like in all the previous seasons. I also think that Spectre might also be able to sense spirits or smth, with the whole mother tree thing and crying when Earth got cut into ribbons
I think they initially planned for Yusaku to actually be an AI too, that’s where his link sense comes from.
For the chest pice questions, what if Ai simply defeated them offscreen, but they didnt have SOL keycards ?

Your Number 8 question was answered in the same first or second episode. Playmaker questioned how he knew about Speed Duels when Ai brought it back.
It’s later explained that Playmaker/Yusaku and Ai have a “Link Sense” which lets them be able to able an almost sixth sense when it comes to the data network.
That’s why Yusaku could see Revolver flying around in VRAINS while still being in the real world
If we ever get a Yu-Gi-Oh vrain's manga I wish the chess pieces to be the antagonist

The more I watch, the more I wonder. Just how much did they actually write for the story in details? Most likely, not as much as anyone actually wanted. Or even more likely, writing as they go.

Wait, am I the only one who thought "Blood Shepherd" was Windy's partner?
He has a plane based deck (wind/air), he and his mother were in a car accident where his mother fell into a coma and he lost an arm iirc.
Revolver said that Windy caused an AI to go rogue to cause an car accident to kill off his partner, but it was never stated that the partner actually died (Windy might have just thought he killed him)
Uh... When they showed Windy's partner he was pretty young. The accident Blood Shepard was in was when he was an adult. Not to mention BS and GG are older than the Origins.
#1: How come Blue Angel and Go Onizuka didn't duel each other in the beginning of this series?
#2: Who are the identity of Bishop, Rook and Knight?

Hattan AlShutaifi my disappointments involve how Playmaker’s monsters were executed. Mainly Firewall Dragon and the Code Talkers
TheJaredPunch yeah but biggest disappointment of that is firewall dragon fewest appearance and used despite despite this monster being Yusaku's ace monster it has only appeared in three episodes of Vrains season 1 and two episodes in season 2 and not at all since episode 82, which was aired in December 2018 when this card was declared Forbidden in the OCG/TCG not helped the fact he only ace monster that doesn’t used in final battle and duel and only protagonist ace monster to ever been in banlist
Very good list! :) My top three are all linked to the LI. I feel like they didn't go deep enough on it. 1. How did they choose the victims? 2. What did Yusaku's parents (or caretaker) do when he was kidnapped? 3. What's the Link Sense?
#11: Why didn't we get a manga?
I'm enjoying OCG structs so far, but I am just surprised that we didn't even get a manga one-shot. Maybe later on as GX and 5ds got some later on when the characters got legacy support. I was initially expecting to be fearing the manga ending in a couple months now that the anime is done, but it never even got started.
Another unanswered question is what caused the glich in bloodsheperd's accident

@@kamenfan3800 Yes it was. Blood Shepard was Windy's partner. But because Lightning corrupted Windy, Windy went off the deep end saying how "he does need a partner" and tried to kill Blood Shepard.
@@AJ-hu4ig no he wasn't. The silhouette look nothing like him and in the flash back of lightning the car hit his partner while blood shepherd was inside a car in his accident. There's a theory that states the car that hit windy's partner was the car blood shepherd was in. But it is just a theory and was never confirmed in the show

Maybe Ai ran a simulation on what would happen if he went searching for playmaker after he was attacked by cracking dragon
Seems pretty clear that season 1 is where most of these issues arise from and the change in show runners or whatever happened is the likely reason forbit
it feels like the original plot for the show was going to focus more on the lost incident and sol tech but they scrapped it during season 2 and focused on the ignis more

Yup Link Sense was a big one for me.
I was hoping it was answered in Season 3 since the brought it up during Playmaker vs Bowman R4
For my opinion, since there are literally so many unanswered questions + open ending (including mysteries of chess pieces, main characters parents and maybe time travelling for crossovers too), there's a chance that Yugioh Vrains II will happen soon (sort of like Zexal II) to resolve all the questions
Another good one is what were the datas Ema acquired during the Akira vs Yusaku duel. It was a good top!
On the topic of Topologina Nabee; my take on this matter is that Ai made it up in an weak attempt to frazzle Pandor, the same way he said 6 + 1 = 8 during Playmaker's Synchro Summon during their duel.
What was Windy like? We will never know
Probably a chill and upbeat ignis, but Lighting unfortunately tainted him. He was the saddest character in my opinion.

Junko Enoshima lightning was the only bad ignis because he could not coexist with humans. making windy the same would have resulted into him playing a bigger role as villain in the season because both would have plotted everything. so windy would have no hate towards bohman in his duel vs soulburner (bohman vs soulburner) which was before the windy-reveal.
maybe lightning would have accepted his inferiority if he would have known that another ignis was like that. who knows.
Plottwist: The Spy in Sol Tech was one of the chest pieces.
I never noticed it at first, but VRAINS never had a tournament arc ........it would have been nice to see them have one.
Season 4 : The Spy is a new character / Zaizen assistant, appears and helps find yusaku and help everyone take down the chess pieces
I sold something, was waiting for like an hour in the place where I was supposed to meet with this guy, and he never showed up, so this is great for my bad mood xD

I though Bohman acquired Earth through absorbing the piece of Earth's code that was associated with the Crystal Heart card when he beat Aoi and absorbed aqua and crystal heart as a result.
Vrains ending hopefully means we get movie. Have Chess Pieces do something. Maybe 5 Big Duels;
Rook vs. Gore; Give Rook some solid Rock or Machine Deck. Guess Gadget could do.
Bishop vs. Soulburner ; No idea what deck Bishop would use, though. Magician, maybe Endymion?
Queen vs. Blue Maiden; We know Queen uses Allure Queen Deck, but would be fun to see what she can actually do, with lot support.
Knight vs. Varis; Maybe have Knight use Buster Blader deck to give Varis difficulties, with his deck being Dragon Focused?
King vs. AI & Yusaku Tag Team; Give King some really powerful deck, maybe a custom made for movie like Cubic were.

What about where that water place was where Ai was sent by Revolver's Fire Prison? Or was that explained at some point and I just don't remember?
to only unanswered question is what was Firewall Dragon original purpose as Doctor Kogami was surprised when Playmaker summoned it for the first time in his second duel against Revolver
Well when ai die against bohman and his backup kickoff it did say that he didnt know if it woud work so maybe it did go off but it wasnt an exact copy of ai so that woud explain the going evil thing or why he grew resentment against humans at that point and the original ai was the “huh”
I think Hayami was intended to be the spy based on that scene where she takes over while Akira is away and she starts making those weird Marik-esque faces. I would have loved to see that get explored if they had the time.
It would have been so nice to see Queen's Allura Queen Deck in action.
My fantheory/headcannon is that they were working up to the reveal that Hiyumi was as the spy but also that she was the lost incident Wind Ignis Duelist. She survived her supposed "death" and hated AIs for that reason and secretly joined the hanoi, as the spy. It makes sense considering the main villains of the show were either Lightning acting out of self preservation or SOL tech for their shady business practices so you could reason that she was working as an anti-hero and putting up a front.
Maybe she could even use something like a wind archtype - maybe something like reptiles?

Shame we didn't see Revolver take on Queen, or at the very, a small clip shown of his Borrel and Topologic's eradicating the three chest pieces.
That when a sudden twist was that they were the ones who provided the Bit and Boot (or just BitBoot) characters for Lightning's army. In exchange for the three to rule the human world (or to acquire something else)
An idea hit me while I was watching this. Maybe Yusaku is gathering things associated with Ai to recreate him. Basically, similar to how part of Earth might've been within Crystal Heart.
my question with the one guy with the motor worm deck, Why did Ai want him down ASAP before he revealed anything and what was he gonna say
I always wondered if the accident that Blood Shepard had was because of Windy's action, remember that he was involved into a driving accident and because of that I think that Windy just disabled the I.A. of all vehicles in one part of the town, leading to the accident of his partner and thus Blood Shepard, who was just collateral damage, they never specified when Windy made his move so it would be hard to say that was several years before the Ignis War, and I don't know if the creators did that un purpose for something later or they just didn't reilase that there was this weird connection between both incidents being car crashing related with I.A. malfunctions
I'm willing to bet that was a new AI with no recollection of the entire series' events.

My biggest question is: "What where they going to do with the Ignis originally?" I do not think that lightning was supposed to be the villian. My second question is: "Why didn't Kogami erase lightning from the start?" Revolver said that his father did Simulations on the Ignis and lightning had the worst results. So shouldn't Kogami do some precautions ?
Top 1 for me is Revolvers sister. Kinda sad that we didnt get a bad ass sister of Revolver fighting Playmaker in the end

The Kings are the most important part for me. The TRUE leader, so the middle one, of SOL should defeat playmaker in a honest duel. Also, the windy lost child could have survived, and being a new villian who also defeats playmaker in a honest duel for tension & a seroius aspect, and two strong villians who are succesfull.
Wow looking back there was more unanswered questions than I thought. It doesn't ruin the show for me I just wish there was more time to develop those plots.
What about the mystery behind Revolver's, Vira's and Yuzaku's vintage cards and why are they the only ones to play them? During the duel with Ghost Girl, it seemed like Mirror Force was really a big deal.
Maybe Yusaku got his link sense from Ai....Remember how Jin was more traumatized than anyone else because of lightning, well what's to say Ai didn't influence Yusaku to be the only one to have his link sense, like how he influenced him to go back to dueling and find the Cyberse deck
YES TO #4! My best guess is somehow Yusaku absorbed some of Ai's data, and Ai took in some of Yusaku conscious or whatever the equivalent. This could also explain why Ai has instincts too. In the second Bohman Duel, he said something went wrong and the real Yusaku got switched with a backup. We know that's untrue, but maybe something like that did happen. If Lightning had deep knowledge of the Lost Incident, he could have found out about his and used it to his advantage for Bohman's second personality. That's my theory anyway.
the topologic nabee thing i can't get over LMAO it's so funny
but the link sense is my biggest unanswered question tbh besides ai's fate. i can't help but wonder if it had something to do with how different his experience in the lost incident was due to ryoken's encouragement, bc it's also said that ai is the first ignis to develop instinct, for example. it's kinda hinted that yusaku's been able to sense the network since the lost incident, so i feel like it's gotta be related, but i guess we'll never know for sure :/
There also that birds in the first opening and first episode Yusaku was green Ryoken red Aoi blue and Go Yellow it like after the first episode they scrapped that plot point immediately. And originally the show was Yusaku being a beginner at dueling who was very smart but they change it seemly late into him being Yugioh Batman and they dropped the Charisma duelist thing early on too despite making a big deal out of it.

To 9 question I think Aqua had Eaarth data after she received g golem crystal heart from ai,that contained earth data so when bohman defeated aqua he also got earth data

Thats true! I just feel like if he studied the speed dueling then he wouldn't have immediately said "no thats not a thing" and kind of brush it off right after, but you could def be right !
I always wanted to know how exactly does Yusaku get his code talkers because the code talker monsters seemed like monsters he could only get through storm access but there are code talkers he just has without realy seeing him aquire them like "code talker" and "acesscode talker". You could argue he got acesscode talker during his speed duel with the Ai clone which could also be the same reason how Revolver got topologic zeroboros but the fact that we never saw how those duels went will likely never know.
So many things they could have done. Pandor seemed to be built up for something too. Can limited free will actually be free will? Is an interesting concept and I honestly thought her interaction with AI and the way he treated her like a person, not a program, as well as his interests on her kind of hinted at her being more important. I honestly thought she would join Ai and Robopi.
What happened to Firewall Dragon? Was the card lost or broken, so that it couldn't be summoned in the last duel? Is it because it was banned on the banlist?

I would love to see a yugioh vrains season 4(or an alternate continuation of season 2 that follows the same idea but goes much further (even if it's made as part of a Netflix deal or something similar
In response to the identity of the Hanoi Spy at SOL Tech. Its possible that the spy could've been Akira. Even before becoming the CEO of SOL, he still had a prominent role as its head of Security and was one of the few that was present for Earth's death. Additionally when Akira visited Rovolver after Ai attacked Queen he says "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" a quote that Spectre used when Playmaker was chasing Lightning and Bohman after the Revolver/Windy duel in regards to informing SOL of their location, also how exactly did Akira gain access to the Hanoi base?
It's possible that Rovolver and Akira came to an agreement, after Yusaku informed Akira of Lightning's plot. Both characters at the time also greatly disliked SOL and had a reason to oppose them.
It also likely connects to Akira's response when BloodShepperd confronted him about SOL making their own ultimate ignis.

Edit: Kinda upset Topologina Nabee didn't make the top 10, but I am glad ya did mention it. I really hope that we get the Topologina archetype in the real game, so we can play a semi-pure Topologic/Topologina deck. I'd like to see how that plays out, seeing how Trisbaena, Bomber, Gumblar, and Zerovoros work by attacking different areas.
