I have own Goutal Nuit et Confidences for 3 yrs now and it’s just such a classy vanilla. It’s not strong but I smell myself all day long when I wear this one. Never gets old for me.
I just had to spray Dama Biana, Nuit et Confidences, and Cheirosa 40 because I thought they were all super similar. But you're so right, Nuit et Confidences is definitely more citrusy and peppery. I studied fashion too! I absolutely get what you mean about dupes. Creative ideas truly have so little protection, so I love that you did an alternatives instead of dupes! There are so many dupe videos already. I love to hear about similar but creative and unique alternatives instead!
I have Dama Bianca, SDJ 40 and a dupe called “Beautiful Bella” by Julianna’s Perfume. I love the fact I can basically augment my extremely expensive perfume with very similar scents;or conversely, by experiencing the performance/ similarity to the OG, I can skip the expensive one altogether. I love Julianna’s simply as a way for me to experience more expensive perfumes and then decide if I think it’s worth it to invest. I love that all their fragrances are “inspired by” and not the flagrant copying going on particularly with ME scents.. from the bottle design to the names, it’s a lot! But, I am a fan of a handful of releases by Armaf and Lattafa.. not dupes but great alternatives to far more expensive designer/ niche brands. Great video! Love your recs!!
Thanks for this video. There are soooo many dupe videos and dupes that it’s nice to hear about original affordable perfumes that give the same vibe. Personally I’m getting tired of riding the dupe train always searching for that “one”.
Yes, Hayley! Fabulous video. Alternatives to a $400 or $300 niche perfume brands are appealing. I have in my collection, and enjoy both Amouge Guidance and Paris Corner Baynal Al Asrar. I find a need for both of these fragrances in my busy world. Please, Hayley, consider creating more perfume alternatives. I prefer a lighter fresher version of scents during the day. Love your videos! ❤❤❤
Thanks Hayley! Yes, I agree, there is a place for dupes. My very 1st one was for Tom Fords LC. I'm not paying that price for 3 hours of wear. And I also bought dupe of Dulce Diablo because it's not a scent that I'll wear a lot. And each of has our own unique budget. So I would appreciate your dupe video.
I have a few dupes, and to me it's mostly to experience the fragrance BEFORE paying the big bucks. If I run through a dupe, most likely I'll really enjoy paying the money for the real-deal. ❤
I absolutely hate dupes, especially the ones where they try to copy even the bottle. Taking inspiration is a different thing but copying something one to one is not something I can get behind. I'd rather have 1 fragrance which is the "original" than 5 copycats / dupes. But it is just my personal opinion, people can buy and wear what they want.
I do love cheaper alternatives since many can not afford 150$ plus for a bottle of perfume. It’s nice to have options. It’s crazy how expensive perfume is getting. 400$ now for a lot of them.
SDJ 40 is like a spot on for Dama Bianca-I’m maybe the ONLY person on the planet that doesn’t get along with DB so I freaked when I sprayed that body mist-couldn’t believe it was a dupe for DB. Not my jam😅
I Find that Casmir by Chopard is about 85% similar to ylang in gold. And it’s super affordable (much cheaper still than Bain de midi). I must perceive ylang in gold very differently than other people because I don’t really get much of those exotic notes many people reference. The banana yes 😊 so to my nose it’s very different from Bain de midi. I like both and own both but personally I find cazmir a much closer alternative.
Thank you, Hailey! Love this video! Great suggestions- am now interested in Banana Rep. scents! Do you have any BDK Pas Ce Soir Extrait dupes? I love that one, however shelling out £300/$$$ is more than I am willing to shell out. Thank you!
Thank you, Hailey! I agree also that there is a place & time for niche, designer, alternatives & dupes. Your videos are amazing - I learn so much! Thank you!❤🎉
I heard a couple reviews on Orris Vaniile and have ordered a bottle from So Avante Garde for 30 percent off so got really good deal, can't wait to get my nose on it:))
I enjoy this type of video so much more than “dupe” videos. To be honest, as someone that watches a lot of fragrance videos, I’m tired of the middle eastern dupe videos. There are tons already out there if anyone wants to see that.
Since you asked, what I would like is a "best of" dupes video. What I mean by this is not, here is the best dupe for BR540, for example. But what are, in your opinion, the best fragrances that happen to be dupes? Does that make sense?
Lovely Video As Always Stunning thumbNail Tho You Looking Hella Beautiful Makeup Always Look Good Those Breathtaking Eyes Love Em NicE Ass Cheeks Bones Enjoy your Sunday Too Have a Bless Week Ahead Stay safe Always👼👼
I cannot with good conscience support dupes, I find it of questionable morals. If I cannot afford a fragrance, I just won't buy it, no drama about it. Please please please, do not compromise your ethics just to get more views. I do however like this idea of fragrances with similar vibes.
Fab review/show and tell. I do find that having samples or dupes of very niche fragrances that you may not have as your signature scent is a sensible use of money. When I have a signature scent that I commit to I always buy the real thing 🩷
Don’t you think that dupes are kind of like a restaurant developing their own version of a recipe in another restaurant? Personally I wouldn’t consider buying a fragrance from a really expensive brand, or a company that is not cruelty free. So it’s not like they « lost a client » I was never going to buy from them anyway! And yes a company spends years developing a product, being creative, but then makes a ridiculous profit margin selling it, because of the brand and marketing etc. So who is getting ripped off honestly? I think it’s a continuum, some situations are worse than others (when the dupe has a similar name, or bottle, it’s like they’re trying to pretend like they’re something they’re not… ) Personally I like eden and oil perfumery, some dupes are pretty off some are really excellent, they’re just selling their impression of a perfume (based on notes, the chemical composition is probably very different) in very generic “no name” bottles, they’re cruelty free and vegan, they’re not spending a ton on advertisements marketing celebrity enforcement or stores. Again in my case they’re not “stealing” a customer
And sometimes the same perfumer makes a perfume for two different brands and they end up similar! Like wild vanilla orchid by floral street and poets of Berlin by Vilhelm
If I’m not mistaken, I guess it depends on the country but in mine, the actual recipe is not copy righted, but everything that surrounds it are (like the introductory text, the instructions, photos etc) Of course if someone copies a recipe and sells a cookbook it’s not great, but if a recipe is heavily inspired by another one, and tweaked a little bit, is that so wrong? It’s not like perfume recipes are public anyway no?
Love the idea of alternatives rather than dupes. Sometimes I don’t want the exact dupe.
Ahhh I am glad you like this concept

I do adore Nuit et Confidences, I think it’s so beautiful.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on dupes too, it’s nice to know you feel a similar way

Thanks Haylay! Great video! Love the idea of alternatives, but I'm also intrested in 1:1 dupes.
You're so welcome and thanks for sharing

Thanks for this video, Hayley! I’ve nothing against dupes as well, but I enjoy affordable alternatives to popular fragrances videos. 🥰🥰🥰
Thanks for sharing!!
Nuit et Confidences is glorious-very beautiful vanilla.

Thanks Hayley. I think you got the right balance today

Yes, please do share dupes. I appreciate the option. Thank you so very much.
You got it!

Would love to know what the Dulce dupe is??
@@sweetpeace5 Montagne Parfums. I have tried 5 from the house. And although I'm pleased with all of them, Lost Cherry is the closest interpretation.
Definitely want to check out that BR Orris Vanille-my vibe😻
Yes girl do the dupes !!!! Pleaseeeeeee!!!!! ❤❤❤❤
I have a few dupes, and to me it's mostly to experience the fragrance BEFORE paying the big bucks. If I run through a dupe, most likely I'll really enjoy paying the money for the real-deal. ❤
Yes this is a very good way of thinking about it
I cannot afford so many of the fragrances I love. I would enjoy a 1:1 dupe video.
Yeah I get what you mean, it’s why I preferred to give similar options that aren’t exactly the same
I do love cheaper alternatives since many can not afford 150$ plus for a bottle of perfume. It’s nice to have options. It’s crazy how expensive perfume is getting. 400$ now for a lot of them.
Yeah it is certainly getting more and more expensive
I don't mind inspired by, or similar to, as you've done here today. Exact copies basically, even sometimes down to packaging is icky to me as well.
Ahhh thanks for sharing 🙏🏼😁
Great video!❤ When you can talk about love me latte Narcotica.
I have it at home waiting, I am currently in Tokyo but I will review when home
Would love a dupe video from you !
I would love to hear about the dupes you have and love, PLEASE:)
😁
I’m so over the arabian perfumes 🙁…. I much much prefer these video’s. Thanks
I understand, glad you enjoyed 🙏🏼
SDJ 40 is like a spot on for Dama Bianca-I’m maybe the ONLY person on the planet that doesn’t get along with DB so I freaked when I sprayed that body mist-couldn’t believe it was a dupe for DB. Not my jam😅
❤ a video on 1:1 dupes!!

Check out Emir Vibrant Vetiver, Liquid Brun!

Oh wow that’s a good deal, let me know what you think 🥰
Hayley do you have an affordable alternative for Angelique noire?
Good question, I do have something in mind but it’s not that similar. I’ll do a little research when I am back from my holiday 🤗
On my skin, the dry down of Angelique Noire really reminded me of the dry down of Eau Duelle edt
Trussardi Passaggiata is an intense version of Altair😉
Thank you 🙏🏼
You got me very curious about the Banana Republic fragrances now. Perhaps if they have a big sale (like at least 40%) I may try that vanilla one.
🤗
Arquiste The Architects Club is like 1:1 Eau Duelle both are pricey enough
Would love to hear your thoughts on new Montale's fragrance Arabians musk and Dallachai😊
I really want to try them 🥰

Yes!! Makes total sense, great idea!
The closest I've tried to Spiritulese was El born by Carner Barcelona. I wanted an alternative because SDV has been reformulated
Ahhh I have El Born, I don’t find them that similar myself but I do love it
Demi moore
I'm not a fan of dupes because it feels like plagiarism to me
