Wonderful choices as always! I have now completed my 5 bottle collections to cover for all occasions after testing 100's of samples and going to many different stores. Got 1 for each of the 5 notes that i absolutely love. 1. One fougere, TF beau de jour 2. One leather frag, Rasasi la yuquwam(clone of tuscan leather) 3. One iris frag, Dior Homme intense 4. One sandalwood frag, a 10ml sandalwood oil sourced locally 5. One vetiver, TF Grey vetiver
Ganymede - its a masterpiece . Everyone must have it. Its long lasting with good projection and sillage at a reasonable price means between designer and niche.
here are some to try (Disclaimer: I don't own all of them) : 1- Some Creeds (Himalaya, Original vetiver & Erolfa ) 2- Comme de garcon Amazing green 3- Perles de lalique 4- loewe 7 5- Penhaligons the duke 6- Emporio Armani He 7- PDM greenly 8- BDK Sel d'Argent 9- BDK Crème de Cuir 10- Dior Santal Noir 11- Comme De garcon Zero 12- Comme De garcon 2 13- Goldfield & Banks Ingenious Ginger 14- Les Liquides Imaginaires L’Ile Pourpre 15- Dior Oud Rosewood 16- Xerjoff Nio, Nishane Colognise, Clive Christian 1872, Histoires de Parfums "This is not a Blue Bottle 1.6" (all Four smell very similar) 17- Orto Parisi Bergamask
That's a great idea. I've been taking my favorites and giving my forearm a spray before bed so I can enjoy the fragrances while I lay in bed. My wife thinks I'm addicted to them now lol
Great list Peter! Although you did mention LNDH, I might add D&G as a sexy date fragrance every guy should have, or at least get their nose on… certainly before Ganymede which is a bit of an off-ramp to me. But then I think I’m the only person who thinks it smells like RAID 😵😬😂
@@ScentTrail Really enjoy your content, Peter. I realize I’m in the minority about Ganymede 😅 I do appreciate the very high quality and skill that went into making it. But at the end of the day, all that refinement and skill makes for a scent which for me has an insecticide vibe 🤷🏻 I don’t get the hype, but glad others enjoy it. We all have different noses, which is one of the things that makes collecting so interesting 😊
Hello Sir, thank you so much for the content .. I really appreciate your detailed and unbiased videos .. if I can ask you , will you please suggest me a very nice woody & Spicey fragrance from Chanel ? I know blue de Chanel - Parfum Is a very woody and nice fragrance but would you pick any from the Chanel exclusif collection ? Basically please tell me your most fav woody & Spicey fragrance from the whole of Chanel house Many thanks 🙏🏻
@@ScentTrail no problem Sir.. would you be able to tell me is Bleu de channel parfum better then Chanel bois des iles ? If you have had both .. if not please tell me what’s your take on Bleu de Chanel Parfum.. If the consideration is for woody / Spicey fragrances .. thanks a ton
Alexandria II is Art in a bottle , this is the only perfume that when i wear it feels like a Journey . The problem is that my wife take my 30ml Bottle ( yeahp its also on 30ml ) cost 170 euros and the 100ml cost 370 euro.
What i enjoy about this video is i own a few of the ones you list and absolutely love them, so im confident i could buy any of the ones you recommend and know I'll enjoy them too. Def going to pick up a few I dont have that you suggested. Great video and thanks!
Wonderful video! I just discovered your channel and really love the way you talk and present the fragrances and yourself. Btw. I love that turtle lamp 🐢
@@ScentTrail it’s been about 4 years since I seriously started collecting n but before that I always bought a bottle or two from duty free while traveling
I'm so glad you mentioned Eau Sauvage and Guerlain Vetiver! I'm 38 are those are my two go-to's. You're my favorite men's perfume/fragrance content creator. Keep up the great work!
Prada Lhomme and Ganymede are my favorite designer and niche fragrances respectively. Both are versatile and office friendly but Ganymede definitely is not easy to pull off but i would especially when im not attending a solemn event
Tell me brother i have 2 questions : who is better at everything, 1-Dior Homme Parfum or Prada L'Homme Intense? 2- blue de chanel or allure homme sport eau extrem?
Lol, you are kidding, right? 🤣 They are all fantastic! Parfum is perfect for evenings Prada l'homme intense perfect for the day. Bleu de chanel perfect for the day ,Allure Home also perfect but sweeter. #1 Prada L'homme Intense #2 bleu de chanel #3 Dior Homme Parfum and #4 is the Allure Home extrem. Aramis is deeper and warmer. Still a good fragrance, although a bit dated. Dior Eau sauvage wears better in the summer. Are you thinking of changing? Thanks for watching🤜

True, you have to keep your eyes open. It did take me a while, they do pop up every now and then. Set a notice on your favorite online sites for when one becomes available. 😉
'All these fragrances will render you compliments' I disagree . I love Encre Noire and often wear it on warmer humid or rainy days . If a female ever tells that you smell goo while wearing it , RUN AND DONT LOOK BACK
Hahaha @ScentTrail oh I totally love the scent. One of my favourite cheapies, this with Boucheron Jaipur series. Encre noire gives me a vibe of thick dense rain forest soil . However the females around me absolutely despise it . Then again I wear fragracnes only for myself . P.s love the videos brother
I can see how this is an important list to introduce fragrance to someone stepping into fragrance if they are wealthy. However, the vast majority of what you've introduced here, as amazing as they are, are going to be WAY too expensive to someone just beginning in fragrance. Honestly, going from personal experience, I've found that while discussing fragrance with beginners or with people who only have a couple of fragrances, they are NOT spending $100+ on ANY fragrance yet. As a matter of fact, when I tell people about what I've paid for some of my fragrances, they are SHOCKED at the prices. May I suggest another introductive list featuring more accessable fragrances for ACTUAL beginners, especially showing clones?? That would make MUCH more sense introducing fragrance to a novice.
You make a valid point. The clone world wasn't as big when I started. My collection of clones is very limited. I will give it some thought. Appreciate the tip and thanks for watching 🤜
