@Holographic Multiverse Exactly! I heard some awful stories about having a Roommate and you get so frustrated and angry. I still laugh at The Episode on Happy Days and how Richie, Potsie, & Ralph drove each other up the wall. Richie moved back home while Ralph & Potsie got along better but when Ralph got drafted as did Richie Potsie had to move back home. If Fonzie hadn't moved upstairs from The Garage, it would have been perfect for Richie. The Seavers had that for Mike on Growing Pains and The Bauer Family on Guiding Light.
I'm going to be living alone for the first time ever in a few months, and I can't describe the feeling of joy it's going to be. I hate having to change into a different person when someone else comes in from work or we're sitting down having dinner. I never express my true self until I'm by myself
Craig Pollard hows is going? I’m moving into my apartment alone next week and I’m really excited to have my own safe place now when I come home from work. I’m very scared and happy at the same time.
so true, my ehole life ive lived with 10 other people in the house, so theres always been noise and arguments etc. when i finally get my place i can be myself and choose to live how I want to.
You forgot to say that another benefit of living alone is not feeling obligated to have a discussion with anyone after working all day. It's great to just go home and chill without having to wonder about what anyone else will be doing when you get there!

Same, me i'm so tired of all the shit that my dad is doing us and our home and. He's always insensitive, he wanted to do everything what he wants even if we don't like it. He's the one who always starts arguments. He blames us with his mistake and etc. I'm just so tired of him i'm longing for inner peace i really wanted to live on my own i'm just waiting to have a job and my career will be ok and that's the moment i'm going to leave and work overseas far away from him
I've been living alone for 6 months now after a breakup and it is amazing. I take care of all my responsibilities for work and school and there aren't any excuses for why it isn't done. I can also make dinner at 11pm which is great.
@Vineeta Vineeta 'The grass is always greener on the other side'of the road'. Both situations have their unique benefits and drawbacks. You can't win. Sometimes life just sucks. After living alone now for some time, I don't know how I ever shared a bed with another person.
I'm what you'd call an insol. Involuntarily in solitude. Cause nobody wants me around. And after decades of trying to connect with people there's just no way to make up their minds. So here I am alone wondering what's life like knowing someone cares. I can only imagine
Exactly! Like I've always wanted to live alone because I have a say on what I should do with my life in general without annoying people telling me this and that every 10 seconds. Also I live in a place where I don't have the total freedom like if I hang out with friends, people in the house would expect me to be home by 1 am at most. I don't want that rule or any rule at all. That's why I can't wait, and guess what I'd be living alone starting september and I just can't hide my excitement lol
I moved out from my family into my own house after graduating university while working and saving for years. I feel so much happier living alone. I used to randomly feel depressed, and have suicidal thoughts when living with my folks, for many different reasons. I absolutely needed this. I'm so glad I made it to this point.
Amen! Living alone solo and nobody knows where I live now , completely solo! Has been a blessing and healing that's much needed. Thanks for the laughs 🤣
My ultimate goal in life get a house and live alone. Loud Music, Loud TV, and I can workout and shower without having to hear " don't take a long a shower the bill" I take as long as I want. No Fs given My home and my freedom.
I really really wanna live alone on my own. I don't want to be responsible for other people's trash. And I want to have complete control over my privacy. I've lived my life and never experienced real privacy. I always had the fear someone could hear me, see me and judge me. I wanna be free of that feeling and I think living in my own apartment is the only way to solve that.
@@Bleachiiigo yes I have my own little flat for almost 2 years now. I feel much better although it's really lonely currently. But I still feel that fear of being watched from neighbours sometimes, I'm working on it. Thank for checking in, that's really nice :)
@@mbaxter22 There is a lot of time where you want to be alone u will literally learn a lot this is where u will enjoy the life and experience the life with its sweetness and bitterness. For me personally ive never loved to live with people that's just me :).
@@Bleachiiigo I don't deny the positives of living alone, but I prefer a balance. My ideal life would be 2-3 alone days every week, and the rest of the time around people. That would be awesome but I never had a wife that would go for such an arrangement.
Living alone is the best. I've lived alone for 16 years since divorce. Teaches you to take responsibility for your life and be a grown up. My home is my refuge from the world and recently diagnosed with Asperger's at 65. There's peace for me and I can relax and my pets give me unconditional love (as long as I feed them and give them cuddles of course) I go out into the world enough to stay sane but prefer to be alone.
Yes. To keep sanity and anxiety away. Honestly screw having roommates this shit sucks. Even if you get along with them they’ll still complain about shit and be rude.
Trying to escape people and isolate yourself is not a good solution you have to face problems. But at the same time you should not waste your time with people that dont deserve it and doing meaningless things with them. So yes self isolating can help you a lot to improve yourself and finding meaning in life but if its only a tool to isolate yourself because youre affraid of the world or you want to escape from people, it can be unhealthy and you will stagnate in some areas of life.
Living alone is the ONLY way to go. I have not been married in 35 year, nor had a girlfriend in 11 years, or sex in 7 years. As a result, my home and auto are paid for. I'm going back to college to get my 2nd degree. I workout and eat organic and have not had a need for a doctor in over ten years. I come and go when I please. I have money to spend. I get a good nights sleep. I am King of my castle. No drama. Great Video !!!
Been living alone for the past 2 months for the first time in my life and I’m 27 lol and currently still adjusting to it. I’m a cancer so i like my space and my peace when i want it but sometimes get lonely. Thanks for the video! I’ll continue to adjust and focus more on the positive things of living alone!
Unless you are one of the lucky lads that get to live in a house with thin walls lol I lived on my own for a year, and that place had paper thin walls- I lived in an apartment under some people and next to some people- and I heard everything. They. Did. Vacuum, speaking, tv, radio, you name it, I heard it as clear as if they were in my apartment with me .-."
I nearly went nuts in that place I swear, I am so glad to be back home that is well isolated and I can't hear anyone if the doors are closed unless someone is really, really, reaaally loud. The landlord didn't disclose that the place had so thin walls so I didn't know until I moved in and boy was I in for a surprise, the neighbors next to me had visitors nearly daily and they'd talk for hours and hours and hours and hours, and they'd have them at all odd hours too - didn't matter if it was 6 in the morning or 10 in the evening, the neighbor that lived there also always came home at 3 in the morning because he was working down in the marine and he'd always slam the doors of the car right in front of my window, every damn time and I'd wake up every damn time too- it got so bad that I was literally wanting to go back home during week-ends and I dropped out of college because I wasn't sleeping and I was unable to study and the land lady was nice enough to mention that I have to be out by May (the classes were until July, and I was living 2 hours away from there with a car so lovely) a month after I moved in, the window in my bedroom that was on the bottom floor wasn't working and it was looking out on the main road and I always had little visitors like spiders, worms and roaches crawling in under the main door after rain, my favourite being a clicking bug that would make the most annoying clicking noise, and it crawled behind a huge closet so I couldn't get it out, so I had to live with that for a month or so before I finally threw some crumbs and trash on the floor and he went to investigate and I could murder him lol The worst part was that the land lady actually said to my parents that I wasn't taking care of the place and that I left it in horrid shape after I left - because I had constant leaves and bugs inside due to huge gap under the door, I was constantly vacuuming it but it looked horrid because the next wind would blow the trash right back inside x.x A lovely experience I never want to repeat x.x
Me neither because I am so used to living in an old sturdy house with normal walls where you can hardly hear anything unless someone is vacuuming and even then it's barely audible x.x
That's an amazing life. I just love getting up in the morning, getting dressed and going out for a motorcycle ride in the"twisties"... Hell Ya!!! come back home when your rear end is feeling sore. I see my friends once in a while, but that suits me fine. You have to learn how to love yourself. It takes a while.... it's worth it. You just become a better person. Thanks for the video, it made me remember ... and laugh!!!
What happens when you get a stroke .with tubes up your nose. & wounder why you have no- body coming in to visit you. Or care 4 you when you get home. Cause you live alone
Living alone is the best because u feel more free and independent and u don't have to worry about who you're living with. The only downside is it could be lonely at times but it's the best, just make sure to be on point with the rent and other bills.
Everything u said is true. I have been living with my partner for 3 years and I can't do this any more. I want to be alone again. I was use to having things my way and very neat. Like you said" if I left the pan there it should be there. I've tried and tried but there's no boundaries and respect so I've realized it better to be alone
I would live on my own even when dating someone. Frankly, I feel people should only live together if the person is married or if it's hard to afford financially
It was the best time of my life (now that I have depression and had to come back to my mom’s, not so nice). I tried living with my uncle, one female roomate, sharing a bedroom, 2 roomates (male and female). I have to say, all valid, but living alone is the best thing in the whole world, for me. Did all that you said, especially the naked thing hahahahahahahaha Nice video btw, I’m having the worst day and you made me laugh. Thank you!
First time visiting your channel and I love how raw and honest you are! I was living with family and moved right in with my boyfriend for 5 years. I now realize I want to venture off on my own and discover myself. I have the finances to live alone, but of course the rent split in half with a roommate is tempting. To be honest, that’s the main pro I see in rooming with someone. All other con reasons outweigh the pro. Your video helped me make this decision thank you so much 🙏🏼😊
Same here I was thinking about living in a roommate situation literally the only pro would. Be less rent but there’s soooo many other cons !! I’m so glad other ppl feel the same way rather just live alone cause I need privacy
I have social anxiety and my family doesn't really help the situation .I really want and need my own place but I can't hold down a job either (because of my anxiety) ,I'm in such a pickle aren't I ? I know I'll make a breakthrough soon
I feel literally the same as u ma'dude. But, in my case, I'm the one causing trouble to others, due to some of issues with myself. Hope u feel better nowadays.
Hopefully at some point that fear can loose over the fight of the reward that you yearning for! btw Im going through this rn since im 18 so your not alone!
New subscriber👍 Omg I love you and your channel your personality and all you're about!....NOTHING IS BETTER THAN LIVING ALONE!!!! Have bipolar, anxiety, insomnia. I've been married twice. It was HELL. I'm a loner and an introvert and very private. I'm 40 years old and realize I love my life finally!💗
I’m currently living with my sister, who’s engaged and moving in with her fiancé in a different state this summer. I’m 25 and have never lived alone, and at first I felt like I had “no choice” but to live alone after she moves out because I don’t have anyone else to live with, and there’s no way in hell I’m getting random roommates. It scared (and still scares) me because I have anxiety and my depression has been worse over the last few months, and it can be really hard to be by myself. But I’m realizing that living alone doesn’t have to mean isolating yourself from the world. It’ll take some extra effort to get out & socialize, but doesn’t it always? I know somehow that this is what’s going to be best for me...and it’ll help me to see how capable I really am. Thanks for making this encouraging video! ❤️
I'm soon living alone for a year. Before I always lived with family or roommates. It was so disturbing to live with others but now when I don't do it I actually miss there is no noise from humans and Noone to talk with even ocassionally.. Maybe it is just that I don't have close relationship with nobody, otherwise I would prefer to have my own space where I can not to socialize.. But it is how I feel..
I love this video. I live alone and have for the past year and a couple months. It's lead to so much self-exploration and growth and I'm so grateful for that. Bathroom door is always open and hell ya you can walk around naked whenever! It's mine and my cats place and this is the best.
I’ve lived alone for multiple years I’ve been in and out of relationships but the majority of my life I have lived alone and I love it I don’t have anybody trying to control me and the jealousy and controlling toxic relationships I have been in the past I don’t have to deal with that anymore and also I’m very OCD so I like everything clean and I hate somebody that is not clean lol
Then get out! Living with someone you are dating is just as worse. You have to worry about bumping heads, arguing and the significant other not being neat or clean. It sucks.
I actually really can't wait to move out of my house to live alone. Not because I want to be alone just so I can do whatever I want without telling me no. Icecream for breakfast yo. Beside I would buy a pet mouse to keep me company.
I'm 30 now. First time I left my family house was when I was in my early 20's because I had a partner at that time, so not really living alone. Fast forward, now I just relocated and this is my first night in my new place alone. Doubting how long I can keep this up, pushing myself to keep this up, focusing on how I can keep this up, and avoid the idea of going back, because I agree, we all need to live alone at some point.
I live alone and I love being by my self. LIVING alone makes you strong wise and better judgement of people skills, you learn to read them a lot better, and you only have too worry about you and not get judged by anyone. Because you don't up set no one or hurt people's feelings or get hurt by other people or get angry and nasty my father was a very wise man he taught me and told me not to realy on anyone for anything and always be humble it is a cruel world out there of all walks of life . SO being by your self saves you from trouble and disappointment and letting yourself down for trusting and helping other people and letting them in to your home so you are better off in the long run staying by your self even if it gets lonely and if you love mother nature and respect the earth you will never be alone.
im 37 single, never been married, or relationship, i totally agreed with you, i still live with my parents tho, i love my family so much, moving out alone is the biggest fear for me but living alone is the best thing to do in your life because you can focus on money savings, workout, goals, easy motivations so much more etc.. can lead you successful easily.. sorry for my bad english because i was born 100% deaf
I love living alone, the last guy i dated, he wormed his way into my place, i put him out. he would turn down my music, moved my stuff, talked about me being naked. didn't care to help me decorate. He broke my bed frame didn't replace it. i was literally getting sick with him being there. Worst experience of my life. I'm a cancer and introvert. I got tired of being on, not to mention he was lazy AF! Didn't cook or clean. When i kicked him out i started writing again, something i never did with him. I saw the vision for my future again. This mutha🤬 waited until I got my condo and lived im a nice area but when i lived in a decent area before he would never stay over. I never lived with him, wasn't even an option but he wanna bring his lazy bum behind in my space. Im traumatized, lol i don't think i'll ever live with someone again. Dude had a job and quit and lost his place on purpose just to live with me. It wasn't uncommon for us to spend the night at each other house and he knew i didn't wanna live with him. One day he came over and stayed for 4 days and i was like whats going on? Who does that? I put his mama boy but out, 40 years old acting like that. That ruined our relationship amongst other things.
"talked about me being naked". Were you two intimate ? Were you hot ? In any case, hot or not, most people don't appreciate another naked butt hole sitting on the living room couch, ya know ?
I lived alone and it was cool but I recently moved back in with my family and honestly it is better to have your family by your side, won’t always see eye to eye but the care is there.
I love having my own space to do whatever I want with it. {Don't get me wrong I don't throw faeces on my walls, but it's nice to know if I wanted too I could, you know?}. Your videos continue to make me think and smile. Thank you Scott! :)
I’m considering living on my own starting next summer but also struggle with anxiety and occasional depression and I’m worried that will be an issue? This is good advice
I have been living alone. Its so comfortable and cozy. Sometimes I feel lonely. then I go for a english gathering. No matter what, I found myself to used to living alone.
If I lived alone I would have much more freedom. I would be able to come home, shower, eat dinner and go straight to sleep. But I live with my parents and they ALWAYS need me. Whenever I am going to bed I have to tell them otherwise they always give me housework. Whenever they are home I am always on "duty."
I don't care about Education or my dreams anymore, I Just wanna have a Simple life and a Job to pay for my groceries and do what I want and get my own Apartment and live Alone.
okay so, i lived with my parents for 19 years and suddenly i was moving out to another town to live a whole new life. before, i used to think i would rather live alone and it would be nice. when i moved out, i had to share not just an apartment but a room too. i shared my apartment with 5 girls and shared my room with one. it turned out very nice and cool and it was only for 10 months. later on, each one of us had to move somewhere else, so i had this not-so-close friend of mine live with me in a small apartment, this time i had my own room. i must admit, i found more joy in having my own space yet i always had to annoy my mate into hanging out with me in the living room or kitchen. just today, she had to leave the apartment and move back to her parents' house again, and so i'm left living alone. it doesn't feel nice as i thought it would, and all i wanna do is cry and this's the reason i'm watching your video. okay.
You sir are officially my favorite RUclipsr! I am coming out of depression and leaning into expression, just thought you ought to know. Will be watching your other videos stat!
It's funny how i thought living alone must be so horrible and lonely when I was 14. Now I have solo traveled and am 20 and cannot imagine something cooler
thank you so much Scott ! You made my day ! After watching your video, I filled up my body mind with unlimited energy. Incredible , thanks! (My first time watching your video) I think your voice is healing. and the way you express yourself is so authentic We love it !
I'm working nonstop so I can afford to live alone. As an autistic, it'll help me find peace of mind and symmetry so I can live longer. So much unwanted noise around. I used to be able to withstand it when I was younger, but not anymore.
2:50 When you said you like to run around naked this reminded me when I used to work at a company and had to go up 4 stairs each morning and I weekly saw naked men standing at the windows in the hotel nearby. Men just dont care 😂
Living alone is the best think you can do if you want to improve yourself, no matter if you have a girlfriend or boyfriend, don't go and live together, stay alone I told you, I make big mistakes taking my girlfriend to my apartment, I start having discussions, misunderstanding situations, and problems with other friends who visit, if you live alone you improve yourself, and you have more time to practice study or take care of your own shit.
Scott,I'm from India. I live a kind of life that you explained in this video and I find it's absolutely relaxing and peaceful at times being alone... I can focus on my personal space and tap to my own happiness. But sometimes when I get over to a place all of a sudden especially to a group at office or social situations it's feels like an awkward situation when someone who mistreat me, friends who are backstabbing behind me.. and people who continuously boast about their achievements all the time..it feels like a total turmoil moving from my personal space of happiness to a group of people...it's kind of like losing my personal peaceful state of mind sometimes...... could you please make a video on how to not care abt other people, explaining abt the solutions then it would be a great help and also I really appreciate all your videos bro it's very encouraging and gives me a lot of motivation for me at times when I'm depressed..thank you..
Couldn’t agree more, I love living on my own!! Great video, keep up the good work! Question- what’s the first thing you like to do when you’re home alone and start to feel the depression or maybe an anxiety attack? I usually call and good friend or go for a walk. :)
surprised i'm the first in about 8 hours and a globe-full of subscribers to comment from the extrovert side of things. i'm the sort of person who NEEDS people around me to get the energy/motivation to do stuff. and what i mean by that is that days off without a housemate/family member around equates to me lying on the couch, doing bugger all, all day. and i'm not just talking from experience with 1 or 2 days here and there, this is also weeks at a time, even when i had other big things to do (eg get ready to move). the points above are really valid, but i'm looking forward to seeing what the flip-side video talks about
One benefit of living alone is not putting up with people who harass you constantly with demands on your time, treat you as a manservant, gofer-chauffeur.
Yes Scott you legend! supping on the Barry's tea! , im drinking that right now here in Ireland , its one of 2 major traditional brands in Ireland the other being "Lyons"! while tea maybe a simple thing its helped me a lot with anxiety over the years , its so calming and homely and i could honestly say that if any Irish person was to survive a bad accident or misfortune, the first drink they would ask for wouldn't be whiskey it would be a cuppa Barry's tea! i happen to love bagpipes too LOL
I’ve been living with my parents taking care of them until they passed away for 38 years of my life. My whole life I was with them. After they passed their house became mine. I did a lot of remodeling and changed all the furnitures so it will be my own style. Now I’m 47 and I’ve been living alone for 9 years now. At first it was very hard not seeing my parents around anymore. But time does heal all wounds. I’ve never married nor have kids. I wanted to see if I can live alone. At first it was very hard. But as the years went by I started feeling comfortable living alone that I want to remain living alone. It’s cool living alone cause now I can do whatever I want. I have nobody to take care of nowadays expect for me. I don’t even have a pet. I enjoy my life alone.

I talk to my friends on discord all the time. I also live with my parents right now but I’m the future i will always have those friends.
Don’t ever get married then, seriously, you will regret it !
Same here 😂
I really really wanna live alone on my own. I don't want to be responsible for other people's trash. And I want to have complete control over my privacy.
I've lived my life and never experienced real privacy. I always had the fear someone could hear me, see me and judge me. I wanna be free of that feeling and I think living in my own apartment is the only way to solve that.
I totally agree with you and damn it's been 2 years yo are you living with your own now?
@@Bleachiiigo yes I have my own little flat for almost 2 years now. I feel much better although it's really lonely currently. But I still feel that fear of being watched from neighbours sometimes, I'm working on it. Thank for checking in, that's really nice :)
Meh; I've lived both ways and would have to say living alone is overrated.
Living alone make you live longer..
Really? I've always heard the opposite...
@@mbaxter22 i mean if you stop socializing completely then you will live less we need eachother as human beings
Not totally isolation. But most of the time..
I love this 😀
That Barry’s tea plug was EVERYTHING
You can literally fart whenever you want without having to worry
@worry😂😂😂
I feel that!🤣
I do that anytime anywhere now. My mother always told me to never hold in a sneeze or a fart. In my case they both happen at the same time.
Especially while doing core exercises and watching your favorite childhood movies at the same time.
I want to live alone because I feel like I'm undeveloped. I want to do the things that I want to do. So many thingss that want
Same kuya
you can watch porn without turning the volume down and locking ur door. lol.
Unless you are one of the lucky lads that get to live in a house with thin walls lol I lived on my own for a year, and that place had paper thin walls- I lived in an apartment under some people and next to some people- and I heard everything. They. Did. Vacuum, speaking, tv, radio, you name it, I heard it as clear as if they were in my apartment with me .-."
get the fuck out of this place. i know this, can't feel at home in a house or apartment like this. Stupid architects that do stupid shit.
I nearly went nuts in that place I swear, I am so glad to be back home that is well isolated and I can't hear anyone if the doors are closed unless someone is really, really, reaaally loud.
The landlord didn't disclose that the place had so thin walls so I didn't know until I moved in and boy was I in for a surprise, the neighbors next to me had visitors nearly daily and they'd talk for hours and hours and hours and hours, and they'd have them at all odd hours too - didn't matter if it was 6 in the morning or 10 in the evening, the neighbor that lived there also always came home at 3 in the morning because he was working down in the marine and he'd always slam the doors of the car right in front of my window, every damn time and I'd wake up every damn time too- it got so bad that I was literally wanting to go back home during week-ends and I dropped out of college because I wasn't sleeping and I was unable to study and the land lady was nice enough to mention that I have to be out by May (the classes were until July, and I was living 2 hours away from there with a car so lovely) a month after I moved in, the window in my bedroom that was on the bottom floor wasn't working and it was looking out on the main road and I always had little visitors like spiders, worms and roaches crawling in under the main door after rain, my favourite being a clicking bug that would make the most annoying clicking noise, and it crawled behind a huge closet so I couldn't get it out, so I had to live with that for a month or so before I finally threw some crumbs and trash on the floor and he went to investigate and I could murder him lol
The worst part was that the land lady actually said to my parents that I wasn't taking care of the place and that I left it in horrid shape after I left - because I had constant leaves and bugs inside due to huge gap under the door, I was constantly vacuuming it but it looked horrid because the next wind would blow the trash right back inside x.x A lovely experience I never want to repeat x.x
that sounds like a nightmare. i had a similar experience but not as bad. Never knew that life could be such a nightmare because of stupid walls.

@@lukevincent5548 If you still have these things on your mind remember you are not ready to live alone and you cannot.

Living alone, less depression and anxiety.
Your cheeky sense of humour has lit up my day. More power to ya Scott! 💕
You crack me up, you just made my morning.
I wish you well and hope you find what you're looking for. It is not good when someone does not respect you.
I would live on my own even when dating someone. Frankly, I feel people should only live together if the person is married or if it's hard to afford financially
Hey! Love this! I believe that in living alone we can truly be at peace and grow into our best version!
Did I miss 'farting anywhere I want at any time I want" ? I did run out to the kitchen for a second.
It was the best time of my life (now that I have depression and had to come back to my mom’s, not so nice). I tried living with my uncle, one female roomate, sharing a bedroom, 2 roomates (male and female). I have to say, all valid, but living alone is the best thing in the whole world, for me. Did all that you said, especially the naked thing hahahahahahahaha
Nice video btw, I’m having the worst day and you made me laugh. Thank you!
1. play music
2. walk around naked
3. design the house to your liking
4. bathroom door open
5. nobody misplaces your things
I prefer to live alone
I’m sick of being dictated by my parents, hopefully if things work out, someday I will have my own place without anyone to bother me.
I have social anxiety and my family doesn't really help the situation .I really want and need my own place but I can't hold down a job either (because of my anxiety) ,I'm in such a pickle aren't I ? I know I'll make a breakthrough soon
Marco91 How are you doing now? 🌷
How are you?
I love your energy man
Living alone = Freedome
I don’t want a dome 😔
I love this video. I live alone and have for the past year and a couple months. It's lead to so much self-exploration and growth and I'm so grateful for that. Bathroom door is always open and hell ya you can walk around naked whenever! It's mine and my cats place and this is the best.
I’ve lived alone for multiple years I’ve been in and out of relationships but the majority of my life I have lived alone and I love it I don’t have anybody trying to control me and the jealousy and controlling toxic relationships I have been in the past I don’t have to deal with that anymore and also I’m very OCD so I like everything clean and I hate somebody that is not clean lol
i feel suffocated in a relationship i need OUT
Leave
Then get out! Living with someone you are dating is just as worse. You have to worry about bumping heads, arguing and the significant other not being neat or clean. It sucks.
Kick her out
I actually really can't wait to move out of my house to live alone. Not because I want to be alone just so I can do whatever I want without telling me no. Icecream for breakfast yo. Beside I would buy a pet mouse to keep me company.
Most of my friends always recommended for alone than living with families. Sometimes they said friends are better relationship than family.
I lived alone in Toronto and had a neighbour who played the bag pipes. Now, I live with my husband and he's the worst roommate ever - lol! :)
He smiled and I smiled 🥺
im 37 single, never been married, or relationship, i totally agreed with you, i still live with my parents tho, i love my family so much, moving out alone is the biggest fear for me but living alone is the best thing to do in your life because you can focus on money savings, workout, goals, easy motivations so much more etc.. can lead you successful easily.. sorry for my bad english because i was born 100% deaf
I wanna live alone because nobody will bother me.
Also congratulations Scott on the 50,000 subscribers. U help a lot of people and u seem to love doing it. U my man are living the dream!

I love having my own space to do whatever I want with it. {Don't get me wrong I don't throw faeces on my walls, but it's nice to know if I wanted too I could, you know?}.

I’m considering living on my own starting next summer but also struggle with anxiety and occasional depression and I’m worried that will be an issue? This is good advice
I have been living alone. Its so comfortable and cozy. Sometimes I feel lonely. then I go for a english gathering. No matter what, I found myself to used to living alone.
living alone make you stronger to succed and it will show you the correct direction
Me too there personal slave 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

At 27 living a lone for almost 2 years ...I love it
It's all I want
I actually want to live alone, I’m just 16 and it’s the best for me ❤️😭
okay so, i lived with my parents for 19 years and suddenly i was moving out to another town to live a whole new life. before, i used to think i would rather live alone and it would be nice. when i moved out, i had to share not just an apartment but a room too. i shared my apartment with 5 girls and shared my room with one. it turned out very nice and cool and it was only for 10 months. later on, each one of us had to move somewhere else, so i had this not-so-close friend of mine live with me in a small apartment, this time i had my own room. i must admit, i found more joy in having my own space yet i always had to annoy my mate into hanging out with me in the living room or kitchen. just today, she had to leave the apartment and move back to her parents' house again, and so i'm left living alone. it doesn't feel nice as i thought it would, and all i wanna do is cry and this's the reason i'm watching your video.
Thanks for the fun video I just lived alone (again) I got depressed immediately I hope I can manage this since it's inevitable to move out anyway
thank you so much Scott ! You made my day ! After watching your video, I filled up my body mind with unlimited energy. Incredible , thanks! (My first time watching your video) I think your voice is healing. and the way you express yourself is so authentic We love it !

Oh I am definitely living alone playing my game go to work come back home do asmrs when I grow up and go to sleep
Thank you.. Seriously considering.😮
I'm working nonstop so I can afford to live alone. As an autistic, it'll help me find peace of mind and symmetry so I can live longer. So much unwanted noise around. I used to be able to withstand it when I was younger, but not anymore.
Hoping to move into my own place in May after saving. I'm honestly petrified about it but the optimism is growing very slowly
My mom insists I am not capable of living alone.
I'm so fed up with it. If I am going to live alone in the future, that's what I'll do.
Living alone is freedom and I like it.
Couldn’t agree more, I love living on my own!! Great video, keep up the good work! Question- what’s the first thing you like to do when you’re home alone and start to feel the depression or maybe an anxiety attack? I usually call and good friend or go for a walk. :)
Frank the Ant that's my problem right now 😭
surprised i'm the first in about 8 hours and a globe-full of subscribers to comment from the extrovert side of things. i'm the sort of person who NEEDS people around me to get the energy/motivation to do stuff. and what i mean by that is that days off without a housemate/family member around equates to me lying on the couch, doing bugger all, all day. and i'm not just talking from experience with 1 or 2 days here and there, this is also weeks at a time, even when i had other big things to do (eg get ready to move). the points above are really valid, but i'm looking forward to seeing what the flip-side video talks about
One benefit of living alone is not putting up with people who harass you constantly with demands on your time, treat you as a manservant, gofer-chauffeur.
You are one funny man Scott 😂. I have lived alone for seven years now .I agree with your points , but have had enough of it now .
What happens when you get sick?
