  • Today, we wanted to see just how much you can really get for $10 in Mumbai, India.
With that, we had a budget of 900 Rupees for us both for the day (excluding our Hostel) we went for a Rickshaw ride to Bandra West and grabbed some Lemon Tea and some Sev Puri from some Local Shops.
We had a nice Chat with Indian Locals and went on to grab us some Tikki Chhole and some Aloo Chaat, which was some delicious Punjabi food.
Shortly After we got a full on Indian Head massage and also Haircut in a nice local Barbershop and even got treated for some Chai! 🇮🇳
We had a great day in Mumbai, and got an Amazing Value for our $10!🇮🇳

for most salutations like, bye, hallo, okay, thank you etc, people in India use English words, and the same are part of any INDIAN local languages. Everyone in India even if they don't speak English, also use bye, hallo, okay, thank you etc. One more strange thing is that in states like Kerala the normal people don't even know the corresponding local words in their language😁. that's why they cannot give you the same words in their language. for example, people don't use namaskaram, they use hi or hello... they prefer to use okay than using Sari(ശരി ), thank you than nandi(നന്ദി ), bye etc..
English is the Official language and language of instruction in India, in south India, people understand English more than Hindi too😅

One has to feel sorry for those of us who gave up on such a holistic life to live in alien, cold places. People truly are very friendly and above all helpful. We Indians should serve any spicy food to a side of the main dish, as it may be too too spicy to handle for some. I eat spicy but sometimes find the spice level extreme and wished that the sauces, gravies are served to a side. India is so unique _ these proprietors of eateries out beat the chain outlets. Glad these are the CLEAN street food quick pick up snacks

    And taste different food type
    And save money.
