      BJP learnt the lesson of dont bring a knife to a gun fight. it eventually learnt the game and learnt to become the best. And thats what we have today.
      even Atalji says at one point that i thank you for the compliment but we have to be in the game too.
      All the psudo liberals were there back then too. You wont find any recording of ravish kumar, pranoy roy, yogendra yadav etc mentioning anything on this. their memories seem to start from 2014 only.

      ABV was the MVP, who believed in politics of principles , to whom nation came first, not money.
      Modi merely stands for hypocrisy, sans integrity with absolutely no principles of Fairplay when it comes to politics, for him its a zero sum game.

Musharraf really killed a golden opportunity by attacking Kargil......A friendly India would have guaranteed prosperity for Pakistan. Dictatorship in Pakistan and Religious extremism has killed all possibilities for Pakistan and now it looks like that its over.

He may have given 1000s of interviews. So that's funny to say you didn't search it. Mostly people see recommended stuff and they watch it if they are interested in it.

    It amazed me how Atal ji is today considered 'secular' by those who demonised him throughout his career...and even the emergence of TV media contributed a lot to his loss in 2004-05....just because he was from BJP .....Nowadays same media hails him for everything that was 'good' in BJP..

      He didn’t lose because of media, infact political differences aside nobody could point a direct finger at him. Yes there was political arguments of vicarious culpability but he was never accused directly just like Manmohan Singh was never directly accused of any corruption.
      He lost the second time because of the RSS. The cadre just didn’t campaign with the same vigour . There have been many discussions in folklore on various conspiracy theories, but the one that makes most sense was that RSS wasn’t very happy with the direction of the Vajpayee regime. They saw him as soft, one who tried to appease the “enemies”. He was pro hindutva but had a very rational approach, which made him override the extremist stance of Advani & others many a times. Same was the case when he wanted Modi out after the Godhra incident but the party overrode him.

    The moment Mr. Vajpayee showed up on screen, my eyes filled up with tears, as they did when Mr. Vajpayee passed on. I don't think there's any politician today for who I can shed a tear.

    I still remember I was in 8th standard when he lost the elections in 2004. I cried after knowing that he won’t be our PM now. 😢
    I mean I had no knowledge at that time what good he has done for the country or what his politics was or what was the political situation in the country at that time but his speeches were so good and mesmerising that a 8th standard boy really missed him not being the PM

      I also felt bad in 2004 but was more shocked in 2009 as I was expecting Atalji to come back but then completely lost hope until 2013 when Modiji came up on TV screen back with a BANG!!💥

      @@Amanji_007 I was in 1st year of btech when 2009 elections started and L.K. Advani was the PM candidate and lost the elections. I did not feel anything at time as a teenager 18 years old had different plans in life 😅
      But yes I could hear news of bomb blasts every month in some cities of India and on 15th aug and 26th Jan, we were told not yo roam outside. That fear has now ended with Modi government in place.
      In 2013 I went abroad to study(UK) and my college fees increased dramatically due to failing Indian economy. I still remember 1 pound was like 110 Indian rupees in 2013 and with coming of Modi, I was happy too.

      @@susmitasarma3278 he did good in first 3 years as the base setup by Vajpaye was dam good. In 2006 US India nuclear deal was phenomenal but from 2008 I would say all his hardwork was thrown away in sea by his coalition ministers with never ending corruption like:
      2008 2G spectrum corruption of 1.76 lakh crore.
      Commonwealth games 2010 corruption of undisclosed amount I would say
      2012 Adarsh Scam(robbing Kargil martyrs money)
      2012 tata truck scam(small scam as compared to others)
      2012 Coal Scam of 1.86 lakh crore
      The situation was so bad that in 2013 our economic growth was official 4% in no recession time. i was in England and I was hesitant of spending anything because pound was so dam expensive.
      Manmohan Singh was a mute spectator as had no say as he was not a politician but his intent was good I believe.

      yes, Vajpayee ji and Javed ji were good friends and often visited each other during festivals. the photos are available on internet.
