जावेद साहब को सुनना तो हमेशा ही बढ़िया होता है, जिस बेबाकी से वो चीजों को बयां करते हैं। वैसे तो शायर/लेखक बेबाक ही बोलते हैं, पर आजकल एक शायर कुछ हट्ट के हैं। बैरहाल ग़ालिब पर उनकी गुफ़्तगू बहुत ही उम्दा थी। शुक्रिया खास कर जश्न ए रेखता का लोगों तक पहुंचाने के लिये।🙏

One can never be tired of listening to Javed saheb ,he has such an intriguing personality
For me Urdu is the finest language on this planet. My father was a scholar of Urdu and knew Farsi as well, with good knowledge of English and French literatures. But he adored Urdu above all, as I do. There is no parallel in any language to its 'nazaakat' and 'rawaanagi', Ghalib goes way beyond the ultimate heights of verbal expression with Urdu. Limitations of language just didn't exist for him. There can never be any poetry beyond his! Genius is an inadequate word to describe him.

There are many languages in India let alone the world which rival Urdu in power and beauty. What you have written can only come from someone who has not learned any other language nor knows any poets in any other language.

If poetry had speech it would speak Urdu!
Urdu lexicon has a multi layer of meanings, shades , colours , hue and expressions, which are unrivaled and cannot be adequately translated in any other language as other languages simply do not have that the depth or the multi layers in expression ; its word play a gentle rhythm which remain unmatched !
I can say this with some confidence despite Urdu not being my mother tongue. Compare Shakespeare, Chaucer , Browning , and Byron , with even a mediocre Urdu poet, and they don't have the same power or finesse.
He understands the human condition…plain n simple❤

Ghalib is one we can call ' Vishwaratna ' today though he had to hear ' ghaliz ' only ' as per the common meaning of his name ' during his own time ! His poetry must be translated into more and more languages so that they could widely be appreciated across the world. Javed sir you are amazing!

Javed Sahab is always interesting to listen to. One can never feel bored . He is a great poet and philosopher .He also has a great sense of humour.

One feedback for the MC. When someone like Javed Akhtar is speaking, please do not interrupt, even if it is for daad and wah wahi. So many times he was speaking over Javed sahib in his zeal to be heard. A good MC stays in the background, while keeping the saddle firmly in his hands.

Urdu punjabi was in our households from earlier generations of great grand parents time, books newspapers always around along with hindi english
Fortunate to be part of this event , to avoid non serious crowd there must be token entry ticket with affordable fee and dedicated seat to enjoy with ease . People coming from all over india not getting proper place , old and people with medical condition and vip seats vacant . Jashne rekhta leadership pls consider in 2023.

@@brijeshbhatt7166 bro i think u r talking about his shayari. So ghalib has only 1 and its his Diwan. Diwan-e-Ghalib. Jisme unke kareeb 1900 sher hain. Ab diwan e ghalib to ek hi hai lekin uski interpretation or translation boht sare urdu scholars ne ki hai.
I always watch Javed sir is videos on high definition to encourage other to make videos like this.
