@@naeemshaikh1136 With respect to Javed Sahib, but it's not necessary that his every sentence is right. No body can be right every time. However to say him that go to Pakistan is in bad taste, rather that shows his low class.

For instance, the epoch - making masterpieces of the trio from the film 'Hum Dono -- ''Abhi Na Jao Chor Ke Ke Dil Abhi Bhara Nahi' -- and -- " Main Zindagi Ki Sath Nibhata Chala Gaya ; Jo Mil Gaya Hain Use Mukkadar Samajh Liya, Jo Kho Gaya Hain Use Bhulata Chala Gaya" -- to name a few -- will certainly keep them alive in the heart of the discerning music lovers forever for their rich content -- lafz, sur, taal, and loy and high aesthetic value !

There is one thing that has bothered me... it is in reference to Akhtar Saheb's comment about Sahir Saheb's relationship with his mother not being "normal." Wish he was more charitable.
Yes, we all love our mothers, and all mothers sacrifice a great deal for their children. However, Sahir's mother constantly struggled not only in dire poverty, but also to keep him safe, when his life, as a child, was constantly threatened by his own father. As a child, she did not permit him to be on his own. He out of respect deferred to her. She might not have realized the damage she had caused.
Regardless, we all seek approval of our parents. Their acceptance and reaffirmation of even the smallest of our achievements is second to none. Sahir was no exception. His mother was the only person who truly, selflessly rejoiced his achievements, and he, both directly and indirectly, validated her sacrifices.
I see nothing odd about his not leaving her behind, and them traveling together. Why would he leave her with the servants, when she was fit to travel, and bask in the glory of her exceptionally talented and popular son!
What more a mother could ask for?

yaar please do not take in one breath both names- there is no comparison between sahir saab and javed akhtar- yes javed akhtar is a good poet no doubt about it but not the class and caliber of sahir for sure. it is definitely an insult to poets like sahir , shakeel, josh, daagh, majrook, kaifi, faiz, ahmed faraz, higar, akbar allahabadi etc etc to be compared with be it gulzar or javed akhtar or any of the contemporary poets. I am not trying to demean anyone but one should know the difference between what is pure and classical and what is impure and modern ,

Truer words were never said. I feel privileged to have heard him. His knowledge and memory of poetry is incomparable. He is a 7th generation poet. Hope his children carry even 1% of his legacy forward.

- *ज़ावेद अख्तर पर एक नजर..*
*क्या बॉलीवुड मे सच मे फिल्म-जिहाद अथवा बॉलीवुड-जिहाद जैसा कुछ है ? इस तथ्य को उजागर करते कुछ सत्य..*
*ज़ावेद अख्तर ने 1970 से 1982 तक लेखक सलीम के साथ जोड़ी बनाकर 24 बम्बईय्या फिल्मों की कथा-पटकथा लिखी। इनमें से अधिकांश फिल्में मारधाड़ वाली अपराध कथाओं, अपराध जगत (अंडर वर्ल्ड) पर ही आधारित थी।*
*इस कालखंड के दौरान बम्बई पर 5 अपराधियों का सिक्का चला। ये 5 अपराधी थे हाजी मस्तान, यूसुफ पटेल, करीम लाला वरदराजन मुदलियार और दाऊद इब्राहीम। इनमें से 4 मुसलमान थे। पुलिस रिकॉर्ड बताते हैं कि इन चारों अपराधियों के 80 प्रतिशत अपराधी गुर्गे भी मुसलमान ही थे।*
*लेकिन आपको यह जानकर आश्चर्य होगा कि उसी दौरान उसी बम्बई में रहते हुए ज़ावेद अख्तर और सलीम ज़ावेद ने जिन 24 फिल्मों की कथा-पटकथा लिखी उनमें से एक भी फ़िल्म का खलनायक (विलेन) पात्र मुसलमान नहीं था। यह तथ्य बताता है कि अपनी फिल्मों के पात्र कौन सी सेक्युलर दुनिया से और किस सेक्युलर दृष्टि से ढूंढता था जावेद अख्तर। इसी सेक्युलर जावेद अख्तर द्वारा लिखी गई दीवार फ़िल्म से सम्बंधित कथा-पटकथा के उस तथ्य से तो सभी परिचित हैं कि फ़िल्म का नायक जो हिन्दू है वो इस हद तक नास्तिक है और हिन्दू धर्म से इतनी घृणा करता है कि मंदिर की सीढ़ियों तक पर पैर नहीं रखता। भगवान के प्रसाद तक को हाथ तक नहीं लगाता। लेकिन वही नास्तिक हिन्दू नायक एक इस्लामी धार्मिक प्रतीक 786 नंबर के बिल्ले की भक्ति में हर समय इतनी बुरी तरह बौराया रहता है कि हगते मूतते समय भी उसे अपने कलेजे से लगाए चिपकाए रखता है*।
*1983 से 2006 तक इसी जावेद अख्तर ने 14 और फ़िल्मों की पटकथा लिखी लेकिन भयंकर आश्चर्य की बात है कि उन 14 फ़िल्मों में भी खलनायक तो छोड़िए, नकारात्मक चरित्र वाला एक भी पात्र मुस्लिम नहीं दिखाया गया है. यानि 1970 से 2006 तक, पूरे 36 बरस की समयावधि में कुल 38 फ़िल्मों की कहानियां लिखने वाले जावेद अख्तर की उन कहानियों में एक भी कहानी का खलनायक मुसलमान नहीं बना. जबकि उन फ़िल्मों में से लगभग 60% फ़िल्मों की कहानी तो शुद्ध रूप से क्राइमस्टोरी ही थीं. और इस पूरी समयावधि के दौरान मुम्बई में मुस्लिम गुंडों तस्करों हत्यारों आतंकियों का सिक्का कैसे चलता रहा था. यह पूरा देश जानता है. लेकिन जावेद अख्तर की हर कहानी का खलनायक हमेशा हिन्दू ही रहा. यह संयोग नहीं हो सकता. प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के शब्दों में कहूं तो ये संयोग नहीं प्रयोग ही था...*
*उल्लेख आवश्यक है कि ये ज़ावेद अख्तर पाकिस्तानी मुशायरों सेमिनारों सम्मेलनों के बहाने पाकिस्तान के अनेक दौरे दशकों से करता आ रहा है। लेकिन पाकिस्तान में हिन्दू सिक्ख ईसाई पारसी बौद्ध परिवारों पर पाकिस्तानी मुसलमान गुंडों द्वारा बरसाए जा रहे हत्या लूट बलात्कार के राक्षसी कहर के खिलाफ इसने कभी एक शब्द नहीं बोला। उनकी पीड़ा व्यथा कथा इसकी किसी कहानी या ग़ज़ल में कभी नहीं छलकी. लेकिन यही जावेद अख्तर CAA कानून का विरोध कर के उन्हीं कट्टर धर्मान्ध दंगाई पाकिस्तानी मुसलमान गुंडों को भारत की नागरिकता देने की जिद्द पर उतारू हो गया था.*
*आज भी अनाधिकृत खबरें आती रहती है कि पाकिस्तान में रह रहे मुम्बई बम धमाकों (283 मौत) के मास्टरमाइंड दाऊद इब्राहिम की मर्जी के बगैर बॉलीवुड फिल्मी दुनिया में पत्ता तक नहीं खड़कता है।*
*क्या दाऊद इब्राहिम के खिलाफ किसी कांग्रेसी, मुसलमान, वामपंथी नेता बुध्दिजीवी पत्रकार ने कोई ठोस कार्रवाई की मांग करने का बयान दिया है?*
*तीन चार दशक पहले वामपंथ की नकाब में वैचारिक धूर्तों, ठगों-जालसाजों के गैंग को फिल्म जिहाद की कमान सौंपी गयी. 7-8 साल पहले तक वामपंथ की नकाब वाले इन वैचारिक धूर्तों-ठगों-जालसाजों के गैंग ने देश के वैचारिक धरातल पर तानाशाह की तरह एकछत्र एकतरफ़ा राज किया।*
*सत्तालोभी मूढ़मति कांग्रेसी फ़ौज़ इस वामपंथी वैचारिक कचरे की गठरी को दास भाव से कुलियों की तरह अपनी पीठ कंधे और खोपड़ी पर ढोती रही। लेकिन 7-8 साल पहले इस देश के आम आदमी को सोशल मीडिया का मंच मिला और उस मंच से आम आदमी द्वारा देश को जो सच सुनाए बताए जाने लगे उन सच की गर्जना से से वामपंथी वैचारिक काबे बुरी तरह ढहने लगे, उन काबों में भगवान बनाकर खड़े किए गए वामपंथी शैतानों के बुत जनता के हाथों उखड़ने लगे। उसी आम आदमी द्वारा ठोस सबूतों और तथ्यों के साथ देश को सुनाए बताए जा रहे सच की श्रृंखला की ही एक कड़ी है यह पोस्ट..*. 👍

SAHIR LUDHIANVE WAS A GREAT POET OF SUBCONTINENT NO LESS THAN FAIZ AND IQBAL. PEOPLE IN PAKISTAN LOVE HIS POETRY. I AM ALSO HIS FAN FROM PESHAWAR. I REMEMBERED HIS BOOK TALKHIAN BY HEART. MAY GOD BLESS HIS SOUL AND GRANT HIM JANNAT UL FIRDOSS.
