Great video… appreciate you sharing relevant info and straight to the point! All the resources that you use.. the reading texts, the phonics blending cards etc… is provided to you by the school? Do you also have to type up weekly lesson plans?
So, for the text and materials, my school provides me with digital copies, and then I print them out and create the physical materials. All schools should provide some materials or structure in what they expect you to teach. Because my school is an IB school, I do have to do weekly lesson plans. The majority of my friends don't have to do lesson plans.
wow, the timing of this video is perfect for me. i'm looking into getting into teaching myself around this grade level (maybe a little higher in the 1st or 2nd grade level here in the states). I've got my degree in child development and education so i'm looking into getting some experience here in the states before potentially making the jump to teach overseas someday so this information was incredibly useful for me. cheers.
You could easily pick up the experience here. Get yourself a 120-hour TEFL, and you are good to go. The more time you put in in China, the sooner you will get a bigger paycheque.
@@collyslifeadventureinchinathanks! that’s great to know! i’m heavily considering it. I guess my biggest hang up is I don’t speak any other language other than English and I feel like that would hinder me.
Another great video! Dude, I'm not a morning person. Can you find a couple of training center teachers that teach in the afternoon and interview them? Please.

I will do a training centre video sometime in the future. I've worked at them and have a good friend who still works at one.
