Hi! I am from Nepal. Actually, I want to teach English in European countries. So far as my academic qualification is concerned, I have completed M.Ed. English and M.A. English. I have experice of teaching English in colleges and schools of Nepal. So, is there possiblity for applying as an English teaching assistant in Europe? If so what can I do as further process?

Some countries have language assistant programs, but they typically look for native speakers. Not every EU country has this type of program, so I recommend doing some research.

There are a few different language assistant programs in various countries, but Mexico doesn’t have one.

I recently just got my teaching certificate and I’m interested in doing an internship at an international school as well! Do you by chance know any info on that? Cheers 🥳

I’m not sure if there are opportunities to do an internship since you typically need to get a work visa. I recommend just searching for a job at an international school in less competitive countries if you are a new teacher.

My husband teach in Dubai in one of the best British schools. He teach Business&Economics
He have BA in Hospitality&Tourism, master in HR and only PGCE in Business.
So saying that you need to have BA in subject you teach in the Middle East is not really correct
The school was looking more for his global experience rather then his BA… 👍

Every school has different requirements. 🙂

@@ESLTeacher365 majority schools in Dubai require PGCE more than anything else … nobody really cares for BA
Also it would be good to mention that in Dubai you have better expat package then somewhere else ( free accommodation, plane tickets for whole family, excellent private medical etc
