Great vid mate, you summed it up better than I could. For what its worth and as seen as you asked my top three, Orchid then Blackwater then Still Life. Its one of those bands that always gives you something, albums for every mood. I saw em live once in 2002, if I remember it was with Archenemy supporting. Ive seen endless bands over the years and Opeth are a class act, a real professional outfit up there with the best of em.
@@vanmantalksMetal I did, and I'm totally down for the more.. Mature.. Sound, of the newer material, but my gosh.. Heritage is just really slow and dull, and dare i say rambling/ indulgent?? , ofc, that is just my opinion and no slight on anyone who thinks otherwise
@@randomname3109 I think for me I gave Heritage a lot more time than the later ones. Just timing I just started working 12 hour night shifts when it came out and I had my headphones while working so I listened to it a lot

My favourite Opeth album is the one im listening to at that moment.
Also a very valid point 😂
I appreciate you for not putting orchid dead last like I see in a majority of rankings, my favorite.
sorry folks but ~Heritage is trash
Did you enjoy the 3 that came after?
Just proves everyone different, it's my favourite 😊
