Going to see SiM next week, in London, they are a Japanese band that are really good live. They are a mix of metal/punk/ska/hip hop. Also going to see Babymetal at the O2 next year. There was 3 Japanese bands this year at Download BABYMETAL, CRYSTAL LAKE, and HANABIE While I'd agree that Maximum The Hormone are the biggest of the modern metal bands in Japan at the moment, if you do not count Wagakki Band as a metal band. I would not say they are bigger than X-Japan, Hyde, or L'Arc-en-Ciel in Japan. Appart from X-Japan they have not really made a mark out side Japan. (Sorry Van Man)
