Great video mate,I look forward to more,Master of puppets for me at no 1,and your right, The memory remains sing along at Wembley will always stay in my mind, and as for Lars, love his drumming 😊.
Thanks for being the first one to ever play me Metallica. Black album first shortly followed by master of puppets. I still remember your disappointment at pevensey after buying load and pretty much hated it.
@@vanmantalks I was 11 when it was first released didn't actually buy it till I was 13 lol Was heavily into the nwobhm till I discovered American thrash
Pretty similar to my own Metallica album tier list. Just one change of note, Garage Inc is at my top slot. Odd? Not for me as I'm from Stourbridge and cut my teeth on the likes of Diamondhead while going to local gigs and rock taverns. Those covers are amazing and I hope they do fully produced studio versions at some point. Also I forgot I had Lulu, I found it in a bush near my house! Mint condition, but I guess someone else *really* hated it 😂
Now that is certainly unique having garage inc top, i guessing you probably did not agree with my statement that they are all better than the original? I do love that album having Metallica do a budgie cover also and having Metallica mention my home town of Brighton in there cover of so what by anti nowhere league
@@vanmantalks I do agree that the Metallica covers are better. They did such a great job covering some of my old faves and actually making them better! Oh yeah I forgot Brighton was mentioned in so what😎 happy days.
@@vanmantalks I hear ya. I have a never-ending list of bands to check out. Just discovered a band called Burning Witches. It's a bit cheesy but they are an all female band. Worth checking out.
I like this video. It’s different. Here’s my ranking of the 10 studio albums. To my ears Justice doesn’t sound as heavy as the earlier stuff. The guitars don’t sound as beefy, it’s a thinner sound, especially when you can’t hear any bass either but each to his own and it’s still a great album. Kill em All is probably my personal favourite but objectively I can see why it’s probably not their best. 1. Master Of Puppets 2. Ride The Lightning 3. Kill em All 4. Metallica 5. Justice For All 6. Death Magnetic 7. Reload 8. Load 9. Hardwired 10. St Anger
Cool list! And Justice didn't have hardly any bass on it at all. The earlier albums are superb but I think they should record them again now and produce them with a proper Metallica budget!
dont be ashamed to put kill em all at no1 it is an amazing album and like i said in the video for pure thrash it tops the charts its my favourite thrash metal album
Man, I just watched your ranked Mastodon and Metallica albums. I'm only really in reasonably subtle disagreement, I could chat about those all night long. Great videos just then, really enjoyed your take. Cheers man :)

I could only find one Metallica album in my menagerie! For me the best thing about Metallica is seeing them perform. Listening to their stuff wears me out but watching them perform is exhilarating. I think Lars is as good a drummer as any, it's mostly his personality that puts people off sometimes
Bloody love Metallica but I can only rank the albums up to the Black Album - yep I am one of those. But here goes: 5: Black album 4: Kill 'em All 3: Ride the Lightening 2. Master of Puppets 1: AJFA Was refreshing to find another person that agrees with me on this one. Puppets was my first Metallica album back in '86, but justice blew me away - it was heavier, darker, more technical, and James' lyrics were on another level vs previous (and definitely subsequent) efforts. You say Lars was at his best (and he really was) but I also believe Kirks best work (I know, it's relative but some of those solo's were pretty killer) was on that album too. I also first saw Metallica on the Justice tour and live beaten only by Pantera imo.
Your right Kirk is awesome on this album his solo for One is one of his best for sure. No need to apologies i get that a lot of people only like the first 5 albums Load was a big shock after the black album
I'm a huge metal fan buuut... Metallica's never been on any of my playlists. Nothing against them, but have never done anything for me. ⚠️ Trigger alert: Little ol' Davie, on the other hand, is constantly playing in my phone. 🤘🏼🤘🏼 Even more now with Kiko, my compratiot hahaha
I will most likely trigger you now as Iv never been able to get into megadeath, I think it’s his voice tho I do love “holy wars” that track is awesome, maybe a couple of others
