Asked her what it was, she said La Vie est Belle Elixir, then she described it as a candy with some flowers, and for flowers not sure she said violets or lilacs. Might be somewhat similar? Thank you Sebastian for this update. I don't know if you remember but AdP had a Profumo they relaunched from their archives in the 2000's and then discontinued. It's one of my favorite chypres of all time, I even have a backup, so opulent and long-lasting.
I need to try that Rosendo Mateu No. 5 Elixir. I still haven't tried the original, so may as well try them together. I'm so happy to see Fzotic mentioned. I love Bruno so much and just want him to succeed. I have a feeling Lilac Brulee may be too feminine for me, but I'm sure it smells great. His Vetiverissimo is my favorite vetiver and worth checking out if you haven't.

I always enjoy these reports. I can actually say that, for the Creed scents, I think they are just doing a packaging update. If anything the "new" Original Santal smelled stronger than my old bottle. I am hoping we see first version of Tabarome and Royal English Leather (hey, they say to vocalize your wishes😂). Another awesome report. Merry Christmas! Cheers! 🎉🎉🎉😊
I went into a Brunello Cuccinelli store in California to test their fragrances and they acted like they were liquid gold. They wouldn’t let me touch them and then said they had no samples. The attitude was a bit much.

I was also looking forward to Lilac Brûlée, but it ended up being too much of a gourmand. It is similar to Lilac Love by Amouage. Anyone looking for a more affordable alternative to Lilac Love should check it out.
You mentioned vanillin in passing and it reminded me to ask you, are all the vanillas based on vanillin now? Isn't it a synthetic? Lilac Brulee sounds like me, have to try it somewhere. I've also noted Imperial Vanilla, as long as there isn't too much jasmine. I tend to find most fruity florals girlie and am not a fan. I am also writing down Paradis. I guess I have to recognize I like gourmands, smokies, and orientals and shouldn't stray too far from those for now. (btw, your Italian pronunciation is excellent.)

If By Kilian was 75-100€ cheaper I would buy them. Kologne *shield of protection* is very good summer fragrance that can work casual or dressed up, Smoking Hot is very good pipe tobacco and apple frag, Dark Lord, Back to Black, and Black Phantom all very good but overpriced for what they offer and not that long lasting considering the price.
Sesame is soooo good in a fragrance- warm and cozy. Shaking my head at Jo Malone for attempting a coffee/rose. Jo Malone is notoriously weak and fleeting and the best coffee/rose fragrances belong to Montale and they're beasts.
