I've been to Dubai twice this year, and those sellers in the mall have some really surprising gems to get your nose on from lesser known fragrance houses.
In an earlier video you asked about ideas for things we'd like videos on. I have two suggestions. One comes from my being into this for about four years now. My collection is humble, maybe around 35 fragrances. And you know what? A few of my earliest purchases are beginning to change. Like, you spray it on and, oops, that doesn't smell like it used to. So I'd be interested in a video on which fragrances you find to be both remarkably enduring and which have disappointed you for going bad fast. The other suggestion is a video on which more or less current fragrances, like the ones that have come out in the past 10-15 years, you think will still be classics in 20, 30 or more years from now.
It’s such a bummer when that happens. I learned the hard way when I had to throw out a bunch of nearly full bottles of Jo Malone. I’m not doing that again, I keep most of my perfumes in a fridge now. Especially if it’s over $100. FYI Jo Malone in particular goes bad very fast. I feel like light florals and citruses tend to be particularly vulnerable to turning rancid.
I'm finding Comme des Garcons fragrances to go "off" after a few years. But I suppose a few years is quite reasonable. Better not to build up such a collection that bunches of them go bad before you can use them.

Estrella is the best Fragrance of 2024. That rich chocolate note at the top is Devine however it only lasts a few minutes. Then the rich, ambery, smoky vanilla shows its face and takes you on the most wonderful adventure. I’ll definitely be buying a second bottle.

Hi Sebastian, I really like the Jusbox fifty four, it's perfect for winter. Have you seen that there is a new Lattafa Teriaq Intense made by Quentin Bisch. I think you liked the original so you might like this one.

Finally, I have Shagaf Vanilla Toffee -- wow is it powerful (it seems all my Middle Eastern perfumes are beastly, which I love). I haven't worn it in a while. As for the rest in this list, I am intrigued by the Aesop Virere and putting it on my list. I would love it if you did a video on Aesop's catalogue. I also want Vanille des Afriques Intensivo. (I am toying with getting rid of my designer stuff to make room for all these new loves.) 🦃🦃

Really want to try Tonka Hysteria, it sounds soooo good. Filthy Musk also has me drooling with anticipation. The holidays have me overspending, though, so I'm going to have to use some restraint and maybe wait for them to hit discounters. lol.
Nice list. I find BOSS BOTTLED ABSOLU very similar to MAUBOUSSIN STAR FOR MEN. You can get 4-5 bottles of the MAUBOUSSIN for the price of 1 bottle of BOSS. Cheers!
I got more Patchouli from the Boss Bottled Elixir compred to the Absolute version. I also fond the Elixir flanker more interesting, the Absolute smells a bit bland to me.
Do you mean the Absolue? Because there is an Absolute that's nothing like the Absolue. Either way more patch in Absolue than Elixir. I'm extremely sensitive to patchouli and I hardly get it in Elixir! ;)
@ThePerfumeGuy ow yes I ment the Absolue, the most recent release in a similar dark brown bottle. It has received a lot of praise since it's release. So I gave it multiple tries, but it smells to me like a concoction of multiple popular fragrances. The Elixir on the other hand smells a bit more interesting because of the patchouli note.

Keep fragrances in a cool, dark, dry place.

Proad Cherry syrup black is my love perfume as well. Its unique and elegance boozy cherry fragrance. I'd layer with Lost cherry 🥰
