Thank you 🙌🏻
great video as usual what a place switzerland is.
Yep, the county Police headquarters where very near when you talked of seeing a 2nd Police car in Bern. I saw you drove past my son when passing through Zollikofen... did he wave? I'm so glad you picked out the prittiest route to the French part. When you got up the hill at about 8mins in, where the landscape opened up, on the horizon, the Jura range of mountains became visible, where there is some fantastic riding roads, where I used to do a lot of riding with my daughter She rides her own bike. Do any of you Lads have bikeing kids? The next big city after Bern was Biel where I lived the first 10 years in Switz. Call it my adopted home town now. After Biel, you drove up into the Jura mountains, a place where I love to ride. So many lush sweeping curving roads in good condition, very little traffic and a different kind of scenery to the Alp regions that most bikers come here for..
Why didn't you listen when I was shouting at the screen, that it's not a Restaurant but a Cheese making factory with guided tours?? Then, shortly after, you drove right past a good Restaurant, very typical of that area.
Well well, I don't think I could have led you all on a better route out to the French border.... you smashed it Mr. Roadcaptain!
😂😂 you need to shout louder 😂 I’m loving this learning about the areas we were in, all that info and we have no idea, thank you
No matter how man videos I see, it's never enough.
❤️🙌🏻
Pity you didn't go back after parking, to where you first stopped but got moved on, when in Bern. That was the fabulous old Tram Depot, now a Restaurant with fantastic Beers from their own Brewery, incorpoated into the Restaurant. Along side the buildings, is the famous and world known Bear Pit with underground passage to the river. People arrive in Coachloads to go and explore that corner and you hit a quite day as far as I could see. Would have been worth a half hour stop or so for a bevy out back on the terasse in the sun, looking out over the old town of Bern. Would have been something to film and show ya grand kids as well!
If only we knew this 🙈
11:37 what a sound from engine
I am Swiss and I am binge watching your video series about Switzerland. Very nice footage! The incident when the guide chased you away from that improvised parking area in Berne near the bridge is so typical of Swiss petty narrow-mindedness, everything needs to fit neatly into the little regulation box specially designed for a specific situation. So annoying... Your bike could have easily been parked there with no disturbance whatsoever to anyone -- but no, the zealous guide stepped within seconds after you stopped there. Hopefully the rest of your trip was ok! Cheers
Hi 👋🏻, it was fine for us to move the bikes, it is your country’s rules and expectations and we are more than happy to respect them. It is a beautiful country, so clean and respectful and it’s probably attitudes like that is what keeps it so good ❤️👍🏻
Its the tour that just keeps giving,,,but at 27:27 mins what happened to all the people ??
Ride Safe Mr B \m/
Every village and town are like that in France during the main summer weeks. It’s like factory shut down they all go on holiday.
