Hope you have a great time guys, i am venturing out also, have made my mind up - plenty of tablets and off i go to Upton Blues Festival (hope there is someone to get me off my bike haha when i get to the camp site haha)on 19th July, coming back 21st or 22nd - first trip out after a long, long time.
Nice to see your practical approach to packing luggage. I use my panniers almost like you do with the small bags beside the tank, leaving space for my camera and trainers My top box is small so only room for my helmet, documents and medication. All the clothes go in a 40 litre roll bag with loads of spare room.I also use the rolled t-shirt method but include a pair of boxers (folded in half) as well as the socks. The result is a bigger roll than yours but, like you, everything you need is there for the following day. I don't record or vlog so my electricals are somewhat less than yours. Have a great tour (mine is only 5 weeks away) and RSMF.
We’re currently travelling and in Freiburg, where there is a low emission zone. The Crit Air is accepted here. Austria tomorrow. Your video 3 days too late for us. Enjoy the trip.
Much the same way as I roll my clothing but, after the first fold lengthways of the t-shirt, I lay the open socks and once folded u'pants on the t-shirt and then roll it all up. I find that makes a more even roll with no flapping loose ends. There's a German bike tourer that I follow(i'm bi-lingual), he did a similar video during lockdown and changed how I pack forever, even when flying with just handluggage. Wether you do it your way or his, both are incredibly space saving and worth shouting out loud to the world. One thing I like to have with me is light trousers where you can zip-off the bottom half of the legs. I get by with even less luggage, as I dont't need any of that electrical stuff, all I have is my smartphone. I like to leave the complcated world behind me when away on my bike, but am grateful to all the tech-freaks out there..., so that I have something to watch on cold winter evenings, or like now..., it's thrashing it down here with all the fun stuff, ie. thunder, wind and lightning So here's cheers to you for being a tech-freak and thx for this great video.

Great video craig always helpful to see what others do when they pack. Only very small criticism is i personally wouldnt have shown you personal info on video (ie logbook driving licence insurance) any tom dick or harry could get your info. Other than that great video
the GHIC card is a waste of time, as many places will not accept it, due to the hospital policy. The process of them claiming the money back is lenghty and they cant be bothered. (I live in spain)
@@andrewscott8950That’s why good travel insurance is and always has been essential. The EHIC and GHIC only offer the most basic services available, it is however advisable to carry one as they cost nothing.

The EHIC card has been replaced by the UK GHIC card.
It’s available online and doesn’t take long to sort, though you might be too late now.
You can only order one when your old card expires.
