You ABSOLUTELY need to see/hear the Royal Albert Hall performance! Video-wise the whole thing is available in the U.K. but I think Oscar Winning Tears is the only one available in other territories. The audio of the whole album is though. I highly recommend her videos for the singles too, Oscar Winning Tears will break you and Escapism is amazingly put together.
“Hard Out Here” was her debut song as an independent artist after years of being trapped by those “White Men CEOs”. So those lyrics really set the tone of how she is as an artist now. 💯

When this showed up my only reaction was “final fucking ly” Long awaited and I can’t believe RUclips took 3 days to show me this but we’re here and you didn’t disappoint. Raye is a musical genius, she does everything and you never know what to expect when she’s on a track. Her music is so relatable you can tell it comes from her own pen. Doesn’t hurt that she’s STUNNING live and will give you about 100 different arrangements of the same song. Her creativity is unmatched and I wish her nothing but the freaking best she deserves it all!! Her and Chappell roan’s album were the most the refreshing things I’ve listened to last year. 10’s all round. Edit: I feel like I needed to give you some privacy while you were listening to the thrill is gone 😭. Also for ice cream man normally I don’t like commentary when listening to that song because I feel like Raye just said what needed to be said and that’s her truth played out in a masterful way that just relates to women but It was so refreshing to hear you talk about your mom and her situations with men because a lot of other men like to pretend women are making up these instances and no one really speaks up about it but other women. So thank you for sharing that and from what I can see your mom did a damn good despite it all 😊
