And y'all know how queer people in our community is treated sometimes. Doechii's rise to the top makes me feel seen too. Feel empowered to try even harder in the future to pursue my own dreams. I've seen like 30 reactions to this and love every second of it every time. The insane flows, the transitions between songs, her INSANE talent throughout. but one thing I notice every time is at exactly 12:01 ... Throughout this whole thing it seems they are such a great team/band and seamlessly flow from song to song, but I think the live edit misses out on, is things like 12:01 where it is so clear that this woman who has shown so much control and genius throughout, is seen also CONDUCTING in real time. And clearly has full control and also trust in this entire band. And everyone involved is having SO MUCH FUN!

I'm lucky enough my husband's income allows me to stay at home, and I watch YT vids every day, like between laundry loads or when I'm taking a break, etc. Watching ppl have such positive reactions to artists I like is just so fun for me, it's almost like I can capture some of that magical feeling of discovering new artists (or their new projects) "for the first time" all over again! 😁🤩
She's so much Fiyah! The best part that I love about this is that it's an ALL FEMALE LIVE Band, not tracks!!! And they are all so on point, no missed beats! She bringing it back! Having a horn section! Giving some Slick Rick story telling! Sliding a lil Digable Planets! Also sharing her singing talent... so well rounded! Only thing that I'm used to is after each band members solo, giving them an intro so we know who they are. I hope when she goes out on the Road that this is her band! I hope her label and management take note on how this Tiny Desk Concert is the best Showcase of the Best Performance and Harmony she has with her Band!

YYYYYYEEEESSSSSS!!!!!!! I was not expecting this at all, but wow I am so happy to see you react to this. This has to be the most detailed, intricate, and well-coordinated Tiny Desk I've ever seen. They must have really rehearsed this so many times. Doechii is a 26-year-old, Tampa, Florida native. You hear her reference Florida and Tampa a lot in her music. When she raps about the "813" that's a Tampa area code. That's also why her concept/imagery is Alligator/Swamp focused because Florida is known for the Everglades, a protected swamp territory that is the home to a thriving alligator population. You will hear her refer to herself as the "Swamp Ruler" or "Swamp Princess" sometimes. Her newest mixtape is called, "Alligator Bites Never Heal," and, I HIGHLY recommend listening to it. You'd need to sit down and really take the time to LISTEN though because her bars are so clever, they're easy to miss.
Ive had this performance on repeat since first listening to it and i have to say that of all the reaction videos ive seen ( and ive seen a lot) yours has been the best. It touched me how you really got Doechi it seems like you really got her and have been influenced by her. Your obviously talented and i hope you follow her and be successful in your life.
