WOW getting fit at Scottsdale National looks like a brilliant experience. I enjoyed my PXG fitting when I got fit for the GEN2 Woods back here in the UK, but that looks like a full-throttle blast at Scottsdale. I was hoping (in a few years) to schedule PXG HQ for my 70th Birthday present to myself, but I might need to bring it forward...I'm not sure if I can wait two years!!!! LOL
@@pxg If it is possible to set up a visit to PXG in Scottsdale, that would indeed be a Great Birthday present. Can you send me your contact details at PXG so we can discuss?
I’m getting fitted at the Scottsdale studio Sunday and prolly will end up with a similar set up JW! Thanks for the video. Very cool experience. I can’t wait.
I ordered the Gen 4 ST's in 8-P, and the Gen 4 Tours in 4-7 and i absolutely LOVE the 7 in both clubs but was worried about the gapping so went with Tour!! However, like above, was only given a 7 iron and a 56 degree wedge to hit on the range because that is all they had so curious to see how the gapping plays out once they arrive. Was not about to order any wedges without hitting the PW versus the 50/52 to see the gap among those....was very disappointed on that point nor was any attempt to adjust weighting to omit my draw, which is small, nice to have at times and very manageable, nevertheless, is was never discussed.
Interesting. Have had mixed experiences with fitters over the years including adapting to their biases - be it swingweight or specific models which no doubt they get a commission for - to very limited and rushed processes and little variation of club heads or shafts. As such have adapted and created my own process of checking and testing. Currently use the pxg 0211 but find them bulky and less effective than my previous p760s. So am going to a pxg fitting but indoors unfortunately to test the 0311 range and shafts to see whether they would fit me and improve my consistency and distance. So this was very enlightening.
Going for a PXG fitting tomorrow. I’m a graphite player and the hitting bays at golf store are always so limited in graphite shafts. I’m hoping tomorrow’s fitting has at least 4 or 5 graphite options to help me dial in swing. That plus the new gen3 heads could be amazing?
Get that guy in the pink shirt outta there!lol (16:50), but seriously, glad he got his face in there PXG fan here, can’t afford the clubs but when I can I will buy irons and get fit like this 😍
I get that this vid is basically an infomercial but jeez, the amount of sales-pitch hyperbole in this video reached new heights. And despite what anyone says - a 37.25 inch 31 degree lofted iron is a 6 iron irrespective of the number etched on to the undersole. lol (this guy wanted a combo set before he even walked under that marquee ;-))
PXG changed my life!! For the better!!!

Dave Cunningham fitted me with my 0311 Gen 3 P/T combo set that’s the best set on my bag. Thanks DC and PXG
Jelly, this looks like a blast. Contact was sounding clean through the turf! That ST blade looks 👌

Great vid. Your swing is SOOOO smooth, beautiful swing dude.
20:42 As to his final set-up, I have to assume he means 7-9 T not 5-9. This was also verbally said in the video at the end.

This was cool to watch.
Ok, how do you evaluate gaps when you don't have the clubs available for the customers to hit and see what the play of each club is?
Very cool!!
Doing a fitting this Friday. I assume they have more than just 7 iron heads as most companies do?
Why does it say 5 to 9 in the T when he said you would be 7 iron is this a typo

We hope you had a fantastic fitting! ^A
mine had plenty of shafts, both steel and graphite, but VERY limited on irons...7 and wedges and if left handed only a 56 was available to me....
Loving the True Links!
what are the red tags on the toe?
MadDad they come with the shoes, lol I take them off but Johnny seems to like them on.
