Thank you both so much!!! Had my F30 for about two months and was really dissatisfied with the clutch during gear shifts. Just put the stop on today and it’s totally transformed the driving experience. So good!
I purchased this for my 2015 M235i, best purchase ever! It’s night and day the way shifting become so much easier. I didn’t have to remove any washers. From Toronto Canada, thanks for sharing this amazing mod!!!!
@@MrScholarlycan I ask where you bought yours from? And how tall are you? I’m 6’1” and I’m worried the changed in pedal travel might be an issue for someone like me with long legs.
I had a twin disc clutch with a aftermarket pedal on my 240sx and it engaged like within 1/4 of an inch lifting off. Best feeling ever and can’t wait to do this to my bmw
After watching your vlog, I went and bought this mod. Absolute must!!! It’s such a game changer. I installed without taking anything off just like yours. Thank you
I just installed this mod a couple of hours ago. It totally changed clutch operation for the better. I tried the default 4 disc setup and I think it’s perfect. Best $10 mod ever. And FYI My 2016 F80 did not have an oem clutch stop cap either.
wow , that could be a game changer for my m2c. I do feel there is quite a bit of travel until engagement, didn't know it was a simple fix. I will try this out. Thanks for the video!
I just used a bolt from Home Depot that served the same purpose, and allowed you to screw it in and out to adjust. Either way is great. As always, you're killing it on your builds!
My F30 335 is indeed a manual trans - I will try this for sure. Can’t go wrong for that price either. Thanks for the video and thanks to Tommy L garage as well. :)
Great video, never knew this was a thing. I rarely drive manuals, but when I do I always find that there's too much clutch play before it engages and it makes it very awkward and uncomfortable especially if it's not a car you drive every day. Will check this out if I ever get a manual.
Just got one for my jetta, it goes behind the gas pedal right? conserve your fuel, oh wait, not a prius video 😂. The clutch doesn't bite till about 50%, great mod.
Is it possible that with this mod, you might actually be slipping the clutch even when fully depressed with the clutch stop installed (since it immediately engages). That might wear out the clutch sooner ?
I installed one on my mk7 gti and took one washer off for this reason. Idk if it actually slips the clutch or not but with one of the washers off it gives you just a little bit of dead space
Do the M2’s have the clutch delay valve in the slave cylinder? If so, do you have any interest in removing? I do not have complaints about the pedal travel as much as I do the rough shift from 1st to 2nd. I just bought a 340i and I’m coming from a 95 LT1 6 speed that is smooth as butter. Thanks.
Idk im spitballing here. Doesn't this cause more clutch wear over time due to the significant reduction of the disengagement from the clutch to the transmission?
so Im new to manual, I just bought a manual 440i, and people tell me always press the clutch all the way in. Will this cause any additional wear to the clutch? Does this mean you are not pressing the clutch all the way in cause it prevents it?
Riding your clutch will burn your clutch quicker. A clutch stop does not do this. It only reduces the amount of play between the clutch engagement and floorboard.

I put one of these in all of my BMWs, it's a game-changer for everyday driving. Got one ready to go for the new car 💪

Did you use all 4 discs? I’ve got the same car so I’d like to know
Hi @@AzamNaqvi I didn’t have to remove any washers/disc

Hi, what bolt size ? I am based in S. A it's just hard to Ship goodies to this side of the world
I am also wondering what bolt you used…

Nice, put this on my 6sp R8 and it made all the difference.
Get the short throw M shift knob, makes a world of a difference
Also did this one this evening too! Your vids are awesome. Keep it up!
Done. Ordered. Thank you!
Clutch always felt off in my m235i. Bought it used so who knows, but this should definitely help. Thanks brotha.
That intro 🔥

best 10$ mod I ever installed by far
Made my 6MT so much better to drive
Did you had to code the car after putting the LED bulbs?
Before yeah, I set everything to led

I need one of those! My ZF 8 speed Auto identifies as a 6 speed standard.

How does the car still start if you have to press the clutch all the way. Isnt there a clutch safety switch?
Is it bad for the clutch?
Do you need to cut the carpet to get to the plug? I have an LCI M2 and don't see how to get to the plug at all
Can you make a video on how the launch control works on your car?
What tint on the headlight did you use??
Looks like it would make heel n toe shifting a little easier as well.
Doesn’t this mean clutch is slipping if you’re holding the clutch at/on the clutch stop? (More slipping compared to without the clutch stop)
The LED side markers are plug and play? I want to put them on my F30
How do you change the led?
Is there one for M2 Competition?? It says on the site it doesn’t fit 🥲
In my f20 the engine dont start
Idk im spitballing here.
Doesn't this cause more clutch wear over time due to the significant reduction of the disengagement from the clutch to the transmission?
Nope
Would this work on my f22?
see you tmr at cars and coffee
so Im new to manual, I just bought a manual 440i, and people tell me always press the clutch all the way in. Will this cause any additional wear to the clutch? Does this mean you are not pressing the clutch all the way in cause it prevents it?
Valid question
Nope
I have this also. Big difference.
Dude love the vids. But please do NOT rest your right hand on gear lever! You can wear the synchros out actually pretty quick. Just fyi
Snap snap snap
Must feels nice.. just won’t be for beginner standard drivers.
Lol install this when selling a used car and say the clutch is brand new XD
Kitty ! 😩💕
The new M2 looks great!!! Thinking about this mod for my 335i 6spd. How to you like your wireless snap-in adapter in the armrest?
Oh man I love it!
in my opinion it's no so good idea , you will burn your clutch earlier than it should wear
Riding your clutch will burn your clutch quicker. A clutch stop does not do this. It only reduces the amount of play between the clutch engagement and floorboard.
Does it works on E series ?
