E9x M3's don't have a CDV, it has a part that looks like it but the internals are not restrictive (just straight pass thru) so it would be a waste of time. e9x non M's do have one.
According to this thread, the valve is non-restrictive in the m3’s. Removing it would therefore be a waste of time: www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=137608&page=2
I also got the UCP not too long ago and I love it! I removed the spring completely as well on my E90 and it feels perfect Enjoy seeing you supporting great companies!
Best mod and pairs perfectly with the autosolutions ssk. I'm sure you've done your research but remember when you do your clutch you need to update the flywheel too because of the '08 pressure plate splitting. I luckily caught mine before it damaged the bell housing too much
I can for sure recommend the Auto Solutions SSK with a 20% ish reduction paired with the M5 f10 Knob. It gives you a way better feeling when shifting trough the Gears.
I would bet the engineers at BMW spent thousands of dollars and several departments designing that plastic pedal to feel like that. Not specifically to make people hate the feel, it just worked out that way. I remember when Honda (yes I'm old, shut up!) started to use hydraulic clutches people hated them. They would rob older junk yard Hondas of the cable clutch system and swap them out. Same story different decade. Not just BMW, all car makers at one point or another design driver numbing "flaws". It used to be that steering had to be completely power with zero feedback. Some makers have now gone back to quick ratio, low assistant steering. If there is one thing corporate car makers are the best at, it is reinventing the wheel.
The BBS FI-R would really look great on the car. IMO the black wheels make it look a little cheap.. The combo with the grey paint would be absolute fire!
Would love to hear your impression after install in the 135, I have had a xclutch on my 2007 335i for two years now and i still dont like the pedal feel, but i still have both the CDV and the pedal spring, so maybe i should start with those.
my only beef is the price. yes, it makes a HUGE difference but $150 sounds more reasonable, cant cost much to manufacture and im sure theyve already recouped the cost of research and developmnt
Do you think this would make it very difficult to drive for my wife if she currently drives the OEM one with ease? she used to hate driving my cayman 987 since it had a stage 2 heavy clutch so I don't want it to be like that per se
Hey brother, I installed a stop pedal for the perfect pedal travel for shifting but with the oem clutch pedal i cant start the car because it is not at the end of the way. Do u know what i mean (sry for my bad english)? how i can solve this ?
Pick your UCP up here: tinyurl.com/f2fh4xwm
You have to take off the clutch delay valve!! It’ll make another huge difference!
This. Get your hands on that manual Supra again and try it out. Some people claiming it’s terrible others say no issue. Curious on the difference.

doing gods work with your videos.
Definitely getting this now 😭
I would've checked out the lightweight flywheel from euroconnex for the e9x - matt has a pretty extensive write up about it for his manual e92 M3.
Great video & installation brother 🤘🏽
Thx for another mod I didn’t know I needed 🤣
Thats the feel I'm looking for! About to order one for the f80! The clutch stop isn't doing it for me and I have all 5 rings on it.

cant a clutch stop give you that exact feeling like you did on the M2? (shorter throw)

we gotta do something about those forces my guy
😂😂 these joints are CRUSTY. But they are my “shop shoes” so they are reserved for looking like dookie year around

do you have a discount code for purchase?
I have them paddle thingies!!!
First "automatic" I've ever owned!!!! I must be getting OLD
Would the install have been better with the seat removed?
Maybe a little? It still is awkward. Without filming it’s much easier
Where the e36 at
Too bad they don't make one for the G80 M3, sad life.
Isit possible to get one for right hand drive cars?
Nope. They only offer left hand drive.
👍🏻💪🏼

UCP don’t make one for RHD cars sadly :(
You see pee 😝
