I wanted to personally come on your page and thank you i listened to your content took notes and even used some of your replies for my interview and now after many years i landed my dream job i feel like i have grown and I’m ready to start this new journey but thank you so much for your content and help you are appreciated
I have some questions: 1. I’ve been rejected from about 50 interviews. (In the last one they found the excuse that I could have given more examples. There must have been 20 to 30 perfectly given interviews with no feedback at all. The feedback I got from a lot of them is that they went for another candidate). 2. Before the pandemic it only took around 4 interviews to secure a new role 3. I went to a top business school and have half a decade of experience working for blue chip companies 4. *I’ve been given the advice by some corporate operatives that I could still somehow secure a role at a top company even if I’ve been unemployed for half a dozen years* *Is it discrimination? Is it bias because there is money involved? I would just like to know what is going on as I’m being forced to retire early abroad/take a career break in the summer*..
I have kind of the same issue right now i applied for a different company i have the experience and i feel like i do great on my interview i was even told i was going to hear back but then when i reach out im being told another candidate was picked and i feel the same way something is wrong because there’s no way im making it to the final round and when i do the interview im told someone else was picked and there i go on the website and the same position is posted again i spoke with a recruiter she gave me feedback and told me take my resume down with my picture because they don’t look at my resume they look at my skin & that’s not how you want to be identified as being a good candidate

Very to the point. For fresh graduates, would just add that if you don't have work experience, focus on your skillset, degree, language skills, relevant coursework and anything else you developed while at university. Basically, focus on all the things that you already have. Good employers just want to see that you have the attitude and foundational skillset to develop your skills further at their company, not work experience. Thanks for the video!

However, i worked in a groceries shop for 2 years and now am managing two properties where i sublet rooms to potential tenants, setting-up and collecting rents. You could list the SKILLS you have gained (that match the job you are applying for) and then say something like "which I obtained from my position in XYZ".

Might be a bit late for you to reply but worth a try I have lots of work experience working for the age of 13 at a local to me shop everyday after school for about 3-4 years I worked in construction site for about 6 months and where I could I attended a what I call human dishwasher job so washing up dishes in a very busy restaurant however Im not proud of my education I got ki ked out of my first school then transferred to a different school which completely messed up my grades and ended up not having good grades at all I'm very smart though I find everyone around me stupid and ilogical I'm also very very confident how can I make my CV with this? Might be a bit late for you to reply but worth a try I have lots of work experience working for the age of 13 at a local to me shop everyday after school for about 3-4 years I worked in construction site for about 6 months and where I could I attended a what I call human dishwasher job so washing up dishes in a very busy restaurant however Im not proud of my education I got ki ked out of my first school then transferred to a different school which completely messed up my grades and ended up not having good grades at all I'm very smart though I find everyone around me stupid and ilogical I'm also very very confident how can I make my CV with this? I'm fresh 18 years old and currently working in customer service where again people are aware that I'm a very hard and good worker
