- I'm currently attempting one of the hardest self-imposed challenges I've ever done in DBD: the Random Perk Streak! - These are some of the most nail-biting matches we've played recently while doing it.

Its so weird that in a game where survivors get chased by murderers, it is more stressful to be the MURDERER than it is to be the survivor
Couldn’t said it better and especially if the squad is sweaty
100% normal with every asymetric PvP game. I remember playing Evolve, felt the same if I had a good tram against me as the monster. Super stressfull.

@@FishoD Yeah. I remember that as hunter you just kinda have this "Get 'em BOYS!!!" mood, while as monster it's hard as hell. You're always feel as if you're the one being chased. You constantly eat and run away, as if being on some kind of timer until your death. Also, that's because I've played as monster once or twice
Nothing better to relax with than 1 hour of intense killer matches.

@@Unclemike1356 sure, but the game can be very stressful and not just the game, but the developers themselves make some really odd decisions. I think that’s what the original comment meant.
I feel bad for Ada in Onryo game.
She did so good just for her teammates to drop a minute after she gets hooked and then discover that Claud was a cheater.
Probably feels pretty bad.
Kinda hard to do bad on Bedham as a survivor
Playing killer is so fun but sometimes it gets so hard
If it was too easy you'd never have any Survivors to play against (eventually), so I guess that's not a terrible thing!
The challenge is what makes it rewarding for me! I hear people say "Killer is super easy" which irks me knowing how brutal it can be at times. Survivors and Killers both have their own challenges, let's never forget that!

I sweat more when I play survivor. Like yeah I clench when I’m killer and I’m trying to hit a survivor with just the tip or many other reasons why you would tense up as killer, but because I don’t play survivor as much and I’m 3head af while playing survivor my hands literally get so sweaty that my controller starts to slightly slip off my hands. I find myself yelling more, but also laughing more than while playing killer. But that again might just be because I’m so inexperienced as survivor.
Agreed. There are times I get tilted af, but I find the killer role more engaging for me. Survivor is a role of the dice on how exciting a match can be.
It was pretty obvious in which match the cheater was if you watched the weekly compilation.
Claud just *poofing* out of existence when you round the corner is still one of the most comedic things I've seen

@@misterwolf3817 That's a underrated statement...Seeing how very easy devs made flashlight saves, it's surprising how someone can fail now
I had a survivor just turn invisible for two minutes, and just recently a survivor loading in with no item had an infinite flashlight and perfect blind looped me. And in the end I beat both of them, if you need to cheat at this game as survivor and STILL lose you're just pathetic. Solo queue is easier than killer at this point
Man, that Sadako game was shaping up to be a real nailbiter. Absolute bummer it got ruined cause of the Claudette.
Cheaters are the most pathetic videogame players as is, and yet they still have the audacity to call killers "noobs"

That wraith match beautifully demonstrates why gen slow down perks are a must have for killer. His first hook didn’t even happen until 4 gens hade been done and would have happened even later if he didn’t have dragons grip.
Dont even know what the damn point was of making the gebs pop so damn fast.
U cant set up anything or go for any plays or normal chases because they will get the game over in no time when u do anything other than protecting a certain area.
They distroyed the whole feeling of that game for both sides.
Gen slow down perks have been completely and utterly neutered, even with them you still get dunked on half the time. Love to see survivors getting stronger while killers get weaker :/
@@WaxingRhapsodic-yj7rh the killer role should never be as weak as it is right now. Playing as the unkillable monster whose only goal is sacrifice and murder shouldn’t be significantly more stressful than the helpless survivor being hunted. Right now a group of semi competent survivors can roll most killers because they’re just too weak to do anything about it. Something needs to change because the killer population on this game has been nose diving for a while and pretty soon will be on the verge of extinction
54:16 - Saw the Claudette running across in that scene and I was like, "Lining up for a flashlight save?"
Then the Ace intentionally going into that locker which kind of made no sense unless you're in a swf. In my opinion he was DEFINITELY working with the hacker and the hacker literally messed up disgustingly. Who knows if the others also were in on it too.

Thats honestly irresponsible. Imagine you have an accident and somebody gets hurt, because you watch Otz while driving. People like you should have their driving license revoked.

Stalling the Feng at the pallets was so beautiful to watch Otz - I was watching live and the moment the gate timer started I practically yelled "STALL HER!", and seeing it work out was really satisfying. You did so well to get SO close to winning - you made us all proud! Every attempt where you break 20 wins is an amazing achievement, and I know you'll get all of them (perhaps including Singularity!) eventually.
If only the other girl stayed and he could have gotten a benjo worthy bloodwarden play

That last Billy chainsaw was one of the most stressful things I’ve ever seen in this game
there's something just.... wholesome about a new Otz video at the end of a long week. It's like soaking in a warm bubble bath
I remember watching the Billy and Wraith matches live and I'm convinced I didn't breathe half of the game because of how tense they were, can't imagine how it is for you!

I gotta admit, I never really cared about game balance, I ended up quitting DBD because my little heart couldn't handle how much I was try-harding as killer in this game, survivors became better and better with time and I had to try harder and harder to win and my heart rate would rise like crazy in most matches, it was crazy, you can tell I don't play competitive games, but I liked this game so much I took it really seriously
That's when I should have quit, too, but I pressed on, and now I miss when my heart would race. When I stopped feeling anything at all for this game, that's when I just said "I think that's enough" and uninstalled.
So, my view is that once you get to the "heart racing in a bad way all the time" part, you should probably quit, because beyond that, is just nothingness.
It was soooo entertaining being on those streams. I've never knew I'd be watching someone on Twitch so vigoriously and yet would you look at that. You will do it Otz!
I don't know why but these long 1 hour videos of something are so relaxing to watch and so beatiful too.

These are always the games i enjoy to watch the most, where it seems impossible but otz somehow brings it back
These types of matches are always the most stressful, but definitely the most rewarding to clutch up, this'll be a very fun watch.

18:40 I could be wrong, but at two points in this Thalita chase it seemed like she boosted herself, after the pallet vault, after the first window and after the secound drop aswell. It seemed a little odd, I could be mistaken
Yeah looking back at it i agree, it does look like she is speeding up when otz loses LOS.
You did see the Claud cheat prior to her going all-in.
At one point, you were hearing her footsteps and seeing scratchmarks, which abruptly ended with no survivor around.
She either went invisible or teleported herself there.

that might not be as sus as it looks, if she gets picked up from the ground then FTP'd immediately upon getting up it is a full heal that looks like an FTP from the ground to healthy.

i don't even play dbd, never have, but watching otz's content is just so good.
Man i can't help to wonder.. even otz that has more than 10k hours in this game and know absolutely every detail possible, 3 - 4 gens get done by two hooks...can't see how that's fair (i know he's running meme builds but even with strong regression perks this happens). Anyways,, love the content man, thx for your kind nature and enthusiasm!
There’s different killers that are better than others, and obviously without having a solid set of perks it will affect him a lot more.
You also have to keep in mind that Otz is a very very high level MMR so he’s going against people that know what they’re doing as well. Otz being as good as he is, he’s most likely going against a lot more SWF as well. This is by no means the average players game.
Killers have 60% or more kill rate, compared to survivors who have 40% or less escape rate.
Plus a game with 2 or more kills for a killer is considered a win for MMR, where as Survivor it’s only considered a win for MMR if you leave through exit gates, hatch is only a draw, and death is obviously a loss.
As Survivor you really have to hope you have team mates that have half a brain, or else you can pretty much call it a day.
You can run the killer for 10 straight minutes but if your team mates aren’t doing gens then it’s meaningless. Let alone when you need them to take hits, unhook, take chase, heal, do gens, snuff hex totem, ect. It’s all down to hoping you have decent team mates.
Otz is just playing at a lot higher level than most
this is amazing. i'm brand new to the game and have been kinda afraid to try and play as the killer. and rightfully so, it looks painfully difficult and skill ceiling is just mind boggling
watching you get any value at all with dragon's grip was so satisfying, because whenever I use it, even with call of brine, overcharge, and trail of torment, survivors NEVER touch the generator until 31 seconds after it's been kicked.

The insight into political discussion at the beginning of the onryo match was unexpectedly interesting. A very good point that the terms that people use to describe their political opinions mean almost nothing in the internet because of the sheer difference those terms mean across different countries.

@@BloodyArchangelus yeah that is probably still his greatest achievement. DS2 is probably the hardest game to no hit all bosses in the franchise, even harder than Elden Ring, because ER atleast had some op broken shit to trivialize most bosses, while the closest thing to that in DS2 is the rapier.

When Er bosses, being the team b(Ds 2 team btw) are bs. Nioh level of bs. Especially after nerfs of some bs weapon arts.

Just a quick tip for Dragon's Grip, the timer DOES tell you how much longer the expose has left. (Except if the person is using vigil) Because Dragon's Grip has a cooldown of 80 seconds and the expose lasts 60; 3/4 of the time are spent exposed, the rest are cooldown only, so you can look at the red color of the perk and if it has not progressed past the right side of the perk, the survivor is still exposed.
