As a Phead main I can confirm. In all seriousness I'd honestly say Iri seal of metatron is underrated to an extent, In my experience it's the only other Viable-ish addon besides double range. All though, it is barely viable at that.

Padded jaws trapper is actually really underrated because what a lot of people don't realize is that by using them break the survivors spirit if you manage to win with it
Iv only lost one round as the trapper killer, I plant them all in the bushes and my add-on that automatically sets the traps every second does really good, never disappoints me
As a Dredge main, I feel like the caffeine tablets are by far his most underrated addon. It doesn't win you chases or anything amazing, but using 1 nightfall to break every lock they've set and they can never be replaced is pure value injected straight into his weird chicken head.
That Pig start was heartbreaking lol. Nothing like being able to see the shitty totem spawns get instantly cleansed and knowing you can’t do anything about it. 🎻

Otz's experience with undying devour as pig is pretty much my permanent experience with hex perks. I remember back when Blight first came out and people were talking about how op undying ruin was and this exact thing happened in the first two games I used it! 😂
Ruin undying before undying nerf was actually broken. Basically permanent ruin. It costs a perk slot but it also worked with noed. I don’t remember if NWO was a thing at this point but if it was then you can see how the game would be horrible.
The Ghost + Bone Clapper is SO MUCH FUN on Wraith. Early on people panic thinking you are nearby, they start running and waste time. Then Late game they get complacent when they don't hear the terror radius and its just all so beautiful.
Begrimed Chains on bubba is pretty nice. It just making survivors drop their items when hit with the chainsaw, it rewards a more aggressive playstyle (actually playing and not camping). Often survivors will end up wasting time looking for their dropped item instead of repairing gens.
@@FinestFantasyVI So while this build gets extra lethal value from darkness revealed and cufflinks, I don't think it is the centerpiece of it inherently. Using Otz's build here as a base, you can usually use darkness revealed as a pseudo lethal to start with. If you're an iron maiden enjoyer, that would be fine here. I would probably run something like SH: Floods of Rage or Bamboozle(again, personal preference for bambam). If it's my build and replacing lethal, I'm a fan of SH: Floods of Rage, Eruption, or SH: Gift of Pain. All are fine choices. Getting passive slowdown is just useful for a killer without any real map pressure. A lot of perks for this killer comes down to personal playstyle they developed for them. Experiment a bit with what works best for you.

It's crazy that the wraith add on that suppresses his red stain and heartbeat for a few seconds coming out of cloak is a brown add on. It's one of his best add on, especially paired with the silent bell. I've yoinked more survivors off gens with that build, than I have with any other killer
My favorite under rated add on is bubbas add on that let's him see auras of survivors within 8 meters of him reving. If you just lightly tap the saw for a split second it immediately shows auras so I walk around feathering the saw and its very intimidating. Feels like the movie very fun and viable at a high level
34:40 I used the same hillbilly build dozens of times, got called a cheater and thought people just didn't know that add-on. One time i did follow up with someone who called me a cheater and they showed me a video of the chainsaw being silent the whole game! Turns out there is a pretty common bug where that iridescent add-on makes your chainsaw always completely silent for some survivors!

I like how ghostie is no longer b-tech myers, his stalking can just help with the chase due to the awesome addons, and can just be used to shut down a team’s ability to co-ordinate itself
I find it interesting that the games appear to be placed in reverse chronological order, the first ones take place after the halloween event (he mentions about someone using an offering post-event), the middle ones take place during the event (this one's kinda obvious), and then in the later ones you can see that there is still "dead harding for distance" so those ones must've taken place a while ago.
1:42:09 Surveillance is probably my favorite perk in the game. Pig was my first killer, and it helped me tremendously. I pair it with overcharge as a huge gen defense, though I main Nemy now.
This is extremely late but, Surveillance imo works wonders on Freddy! Add Ruin on it and when you're teleporting you can tell if someone gets off the Generator! Also helps with Pain Res and shows you if you see an affected gen you know where to teleport too! I think Oppression or Surge can also work too ^-^ one of my favorite perks on Freddy!
one underrated addon on hillbilly I am using is the yellow addon that makes his chainsaw 30% quieter. It actually seems to throw people off if you run towards them in a straight line! mostly because the sound seems to be so much further away. ^^
That dredge game with the bugged audio gave me a fun idea for a challenge. Playing without sound. Doing this would add a lot of new challenges to this already hard game
The second GhostFace add-on is literally one of my favorites to run! I always make sure I stock up on them! The 10% speed can be SO helpful especially if you forget to 99 the stalk.

In the last video, I was going to say for survivor solo, I love running Deja Vu + Situational Awareness. I find the three gens, get on them, and show other survivors where they are.
I had no idea Ghost was an underrated addon. I absolutely love it myself. I like to pair it with bone clapper and Dark Devotion for maximum confusion, it is an extremely fun build to play.
I always use Chewed Pen with Drop-Leg Knife Sheath, I legit just used them today and yesterday. But I play on DBD: Mobile, so the Chewed Pen recovers my power quicker and the Knife Sheath makes me move faster when crouched.
Baffled by Drop Leg Knife Sheath being on here, I consider it to be one of his strongest addons that helps end a chase before it begins. Didn't realize it wasn't used often
i think its because the collision maps on the walls are a bit iffy, they arent entirely flat for some reason so the bounces vary a bit. Bad collision is kind of a constant in this game so it wouldnt be surprised if that was the case
When I actually played DbD for the first time I went straight to dredge, and followers cowl was always on for me being new it helped me track people that I would easily lose
I LOVE Chatterer's tooth. I don't normally run add ons, but I ran Chatterer's Tooth with Iridescent Lament Configuration and hoo boy was it amazing. I do best with Control/Macro Zoning for my gameplay, so that build with Corrupt Intervention, Sloppy Butcherer, Call of Brine, and Eruption is amazing. I find it works best to approach from the box, "hit and run" before corrupt dies, hopefully giving you a couple hits, and then proxy the box until somebody goes for it. At this point you can defend it and get a chain hunt and camp, or if they grab it they will be Oblivious and you can down them. This gives 25 seconds of undetectable, as well as a budget map wide Infectious Fright +3 chains, and since you know roughly where everyone spawned (due to box aura at the start) and what is near the gens they are likely on (due to Corrupt letting you scout) , you can possibly extend and catch another injured person off guard, and if they retreat to heal instead of doing gens, preventing you from getting to them in time, the box will respawn, giving you info on where they could be as well as spawning closer to you allowing for a reset. It is super fun big recommend.

I went up against a doctor with undying devour. He got to three stacks, we found and cleansed both totems in about 30 seconds, and then he DCed.

Rusted chains is another underrated one. Broken effect for ~1min. Stack that with gift of pain and healing will be difficult.

Best value out of devour and undying I've ever seen
I always use Chewed Pen with Drop-Leg Knife Sheath, I legit just used them today and yesterday.
But I play on DBD: Mobile, so the Chewed Pen recovers my power quicker and the Knife Sheath makes me move faster when crouched.
Baffled by Drop Leg Knife Sheath being on here, I consider it to be one of his strongest addons that helps end a chase before it begins. Didn't realize it wasn't used often
I feel like when trickster knife bounces it homes onto survivors slightly. Sometimes they bounce off walls at a really weird angle.
i think its because the collision maps on the walls are a bit iffy, they arent entirely flat for some reason so the bounces vary a bit. Bad collision is kind of a constant in this game so it wouldnt be surprised if that was the case

being new it helped me track people that I would easily lose

With Trickster I love pairing the bouncy knives with the piercing knives.

I LOVE Chatterer's tooth. I don't normally run add ons, but I ran Chatterer's Tooth with Iridescent Lament Configuration and hoo boy was it amazing. I do best with Control/Macro Zoning for my gameplay, so that build with Corrupt Intervention, Sloppy Butcherer, Call of Brine, and Eruption is amazing. I find it works best to approach from the box, "hit and run" before corrupt dies, hopefully giving you a couple hits, and then proxy the box until somebody goes for it. At this point you can defend it and get a chain hunt and camp, or if they grab it they will be Oblivious and you can down them. This gives 25 seconds of undetectable, as well as a budget map wide Infectious Fright +3 chains, and since you know roughly where everyone spawned (due to box aura at the start) and what is near the gens they are likely on (due to Corrupt letting you scout) , you can possibly extend and catch another injured person off guard, and if they retreat to heal instead of doing gens, preventing you from getting to them in time, the box will respawn, giving you info on where they could be as well as spawning closer to you allowing for a reset. It is super fun big recommend.
