OMG! This is insane ! The trick to make bass receiving notes from guitar is really clever. I'm gonna use it the inverse way (when I want guitar picked note to follow bass, or clavinet or organ doubling bass !).

There's no way to keep the a ript always on top of reaper windows ? I find it very annoting that each time i do a piano roll efits i have to look for the script
Sounds good. Obviously, you need to be careful not to start sounding generic and repetitive but if you carefully take little parts of each generated part and stitch them together, then I think it could be very, very cool.
I try to send the midi guitar to the midi bass but the midi bass channel where I've the plugin doesn't make any sound! I put the settings like the video but doesn't recive any sound :c

Hi. I bought the "Modern Metal Songwriting Template" when it first appeared. Has there been any template update since then? In my version, there are no midi messages from guitar to bass and drums. Also, there were no update notifications on the email specified at the time of purchase. (Google Translate)

nah. just use reaper. it's superior. i say that as a huge ableton fanboy nerd. learn reaper inside and out, even if you use another daw. you'll thank me one day
@@zendakk Nah feel free to record digitally but if this was used for a final product I'm sure whoever used or bought it would feel scammed. Is it too much to get someone to play an instrument these days? This might be good for a demo or something or to get a vibe across before a musician plays it
@@playNsleep Who says that's not what it's used for most of the time? And what "product"? The listener won't know which gear or tools were used, as long as they like what they hear it doesn't matter anyway.
I hope theres a specification in the terms & conditions that the developer is entitled to all 30 cents of your spotify/youtube royalties after you post your Djent in a box to the world. Because writing your own music is pointless.
Midi programming is the weakest part of Reaper and it requires scripts. More please, there are almost zero midi programming related tutorials on youtube.
Scripts aren't required but scripts make it easier and faster and adds unique tools and also using scripts is part of using Reaper since no other daw has this level of scripting available. There are channels who make midi tutorials on YT in Reaper like Learning Reaper, Wodzu beats, Iddqd sound, The ultimate mix down etc.

On my end the send needed to be -> Pre-Fader (Pre-Fx) Then I've got sound :)

The script has a dependency, you need to install SWS Extension (they're free too).
