My thoughts exactly. It's promising & innovative. The feminist approach to trying to get girls involved with the industry for some reason is always "take something guys like and put sassy women in it." This is so unapologetically feminine, it's honestly kinda refreshing just to see a trailer. Like shoujo anime in video game form.
I'm honestly interested in it just for the visuals. Art style looks great, especially when she's floating on that flower.
That one combat segemt is so weird to me. Literally, everything else is some platforming or literally being a stylist, and out of nowhere, you're using magic to fight a crystal golem . It's like, ok... someone got bored... then there's Marika from eldenring th is going on😂

Concord literally stealing chemistry from Guardians of the galaxy. There's influence and then theres swapping character's gender/appearences around. You literally hear draxx, starlord as a female, her as a male, groot is a robot.
The time segments in the video are real nice

Concord looked like an amazing action adventure game, I was on board until the developer said "5v5 pvp game"

It's like Overwatch but without the cool and hot characters that Overwatch released with.
The story being released in patches won't help either - in the worst case it's even tied to fomo.
It's perhaps a little more interesting than Suicide Squad - but we'll see how many players will show up for it.

The trailer and character design already shows dei involvement. Blond chick especially looks like Forspoken's main character, just white. Two other supporting characters already look very "inclusive". I really hope that's where it ends and we will not see any girl bosses.

Wilds will definitely be incredible. People forget that game only just really got traction in the West but it's been an absolute dynasty in the Japanese market for a long time. No way in hell they will drop the ball on that franchise.

@@moisesminaya4352 To be fair, some people don’t like the faster gameplay of Rise as much, in particular the wirebug. Thankfully, they’re seemingly keeping the wirebug skills here, and maybe removing wirebug parkour. I think that’s a great idea, since it’ll keep our boots to the ground and give us more cool moves to use.
The clutch claw is back, so maybe it’ll have situational parkour like they tried in Iceborne. I’m guessing the tenderising mechanic isn’t coming back, though, which I think is for the best. This is shaping up to be something special! What are your thoughts?

@@danalmero374 tbh I agree, the wirebug made some fights way too easy and others a complete joke especially in the base game. The wirebug is cool and the switch skills were also flashy and cool but some of the monsters couldn't keep up for that reason. Sunbreak was a nice increase in challenge and I actually fainted a couple times 😂 and a lot of the difficulty of the older titles can be attributed to the "clunky" controls and tediousness of certain mechanics like drink hot/cold drinks etc. either way I am a monster hunter fanatic and love every title ive played, and wilds will be another 500 hr plus title i play 😁

MH Rise is not bad, it is just different. Having to collect the little bugs for max HP, Stamina, DMG and DEF is bad game design tho.
Its kinda crazy that from all of those games shown Im most interested on Astro Bot. The first game they did to showcase the controller was incredibly well thought and designed. Love that they have approved a sequel to the project.

also, just really odd of them to show off bowgun play this early in the trailer cycle. i’ve a feeling they’re doing something different with our bowguns this time around.

Love Nikki was the GOAT. I had great time battling NPCs by dressing up the character in wacky outfits and racking up style points. Not sure if Infinity Nikki will do well, seeing that they're going for a different female demographics than the mobile games.
It will do alright im sure. It has cute girls. Many people these days aren't capable of feeling embarrassed (that's how tiktok exists) and others just don't give af. I'll probably buy it due to the latter.

Thing with Rise is it’s less fleshed out or in depth than World but it does feel a bit smoother in terms of combat. Hoping they get best of both in Wilds.
Usually capcom alternates gameplay every game by making an experimental game and then a fleshed out game.
It seems they made 2 experiments in a row so this one is gonna be great.

The Palico always talk, they just never have a voice acting and they do talk in MHStories before. The Hunter also isn't muted in cutscene anymore, he actually reply to other NPCs and the Palico.
the one thing that really concerns me about Monster Hunter Wilds is the engine.
i fear this will release with Dragons Dogma 2 frames and while this was was barely playable with DD2, with a Monster Hunter game

The greatsword swing seems faster
Lot of new moves + what looks like surge slash combo from Sunbreak. I imagine the old moveset will be baked into that and they’re focused on showing new stuff for the trailer
got me really interested to see what they did to charge blade and hunting horn
I think it's just smoother, cleaner transitions and the new added moves with more character motion. It looked less like the greatsword swings themselves were faster and more like the character was running faster and rolling further with the new moves linking into the moveset neatly. I kinda hope drawn weapon movement is faster across the board, World had a bit of stiffness with certain weapons that felt like you needed to sheathe every time you repositioned.
Also smaller. Seems like they went for even more grounded feel this time.
@@bdizzle7072slow moving weapons in world had combos for moving, except for GS and hbg. Now GS is also getting reposition combo, and looks like our birdog can grab us without sheathing or in knockdown like wirebugs.

Nah, after you play GS you observed the game so much changing weapons will mostly feel either mindless or gimmicky. LS and GL are the exceptions.

The input is playing GS, the output is observing the game for more than 60% of the fighting time because you'll get carted otherwise, until you learn. When you manage to read the statement properly you'll figure out it's not dumb, nor does it have to do with anyone, but you'll need to get out of your feelings first. Or play GS and see what I'm talking about, it's clear as day to people using every weapon.
