Nicholas, for the past few years I have watched you put up and decorate your beautiful Christmas tree; it has become one of my favorite Christmas traditions. 🙂
How many of us watching are now craving hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. I am going to recreate this. Christmas with Nicholas really is putting me in a wonderful Christmas Spirit!

I’m a lot older than you, Nicholas, but I did travel reservations for the Mellons in the 1970s. I worked as a consultant in Rockefeller center. They took fabulous trips with private limousines,the best hotels etc.I was in my 20s and my boss was friends of theirs. We also did work for the Phipps family and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It was very interesting.

You are absolutely right, one can start obsessing about their tree, I am one of those people. The trees on RUclips are absolutely packed with decorations until you can no longer see the tree and I try every year to emulate that style until this year. Personally I like to see the tree and I have definitely accomplished that this year. Yes I have gaps and spaces that could be filled, but then you couldn't see the tree and I think too much decor seriously dims the lights. Your tree is perfect as is, just enough for an elegant look and showcasing your beautiful ornaments. And when you turn on the lights it all comes alive! I am really looking forward to your future vlogs. Merry Christmas!

I was cringing when you were clinking those glass ornaments together. They are so fragile and break so easily. It doesn’t take much to break one. Everything is looking so nice. I love your new chair. I wonder if you’ve tried putting your sofa back to the wall where the two maps prints are, and two chairs across from it. With coffee table between. With the white sofa table with two lamps against the wall where it is now instead of behind the sofa? I know the desk would need a spot. Or put the sofa table behind the sofa on the map wall with the two lamps and the desk on the wall where the sofa table is now. In the current rearranged room for tree. After Christmas of course.

I have been watching your videos for the past three years-since I got my first COVID shot in March 2021 and you were in the other apartment. I’ve enjoyed every Christmas since then watching you and I am so impressed with all that you have done and are doing now. Thank you for showing us your exquisite taste in travel locations and décor.
