ABSOLUTELY! As you said; Even a 2nd hand is definitely worth it! And I found that! Exactly as built up as you have there. With Max8 Combo. With an 18-tier pignon. MADNESS! Certainly with 6S. Now that LOSI comes with a rtr electric version I wonder if it would be even better?!?!? I'm still crazy about the KRATON and the LST XXL 2E, but this is real pure beauty. Continue with the videos! Always very nice to look at! Greetings from Amsterdam!
The joys of a race bred platform!... and truggy too, the best compromise for bashing and racing in 1 platform imo. Loved my mugen truggy e conversion and this vid has reminded me to get my hyper st running ( not in the same class as a losi/ mugen/ team associated race kit of course) but truggy= fun in my book. Welcome back too mate. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👍
Sounds about right, I bought the kit version of the 3.0 buggy when it went on sale and man that thing is fantastic. Losi cars are expensive, especially the 1/8 scales but boy are they durable. Good to see you back Vas, love the channel.
I am a huge Losi fan myself and have owned several in the past. I regret selling all of them but in order to buy new the old sometimes must go, it was unfortunate that Losi stuck their foot in their mouths with that gasoline nightmare. I fortunately didn't pull the trigger on one so I didn't have the headaches most everyone had trying to get the satisfaction of getting one to run properly. With that said I did miss out on getting a Truggy chassis cheap, at the price those were selling at you can't even get a used roller for so you got a deal on a near bullet proof Truggy and even with the expense of the conversation your still ahead in my book on a awesome rig. Every Losi I ever owned drove like it was on rails and was extremely well built and could take huge amounts of punishment and still continue to go like the wind. I have stepped back myself on the hobby and the Facebook myself for the last 4 months I just have gotten in the dumps I am the last hold out around here who hasn't gotten out of the hobby altogether around here. I still been running occasionally but it isn't as much fun without friends running with you and swapping parts and working on your ribs together. I am still debating on whether or not to stick with it but I am going to scale back a lot if I do stay in the hobby. two kids in Universities I won't be buying many new digs for sure, plus I now will be driving 500 to 600 miles round trip back and forth to were my youngest will be attending the University a couple times a month at least for the near future. I am glad your back that gives me a reason to stick with the hobby at least on a limited basis and gets me away from the withdrawal symptoms I been suffering from without my Aussie Rc Playground vids😉 take care my friend
thank god you're back vas, missed like hell brother, we need more reeper videos!! awsome truggy btw, im hoping losi comes out with an xxl 3 and make it a 1/7 scale, that would be awsome!!
Same issue when I take my rd to a park, the kids gravitate to it and eventually ask if they can drive it, haha. This is a really nice rd and good to have you back.
wow! I've been i fan of ur channel since the start and this truggy has gotta be one of the most impressive! something to be said about them rtr tires! thx as always for sharing and appreciate u and ur time
The hobbywing combo work well in the losi truggy , I have had great results racing my 3.0 with the 2000kv 150a xerun eats tekin and castle systems alive and is super reliable , Now you will learn all about the rear diff shimming tricks I'm sure, my tip ,buy the tlr machined bearing holders and shim appropriately and you will have a reliable truggy
Vas sadly kid love watching people run RC but don't realize that they can get in the way . I've had the same thing happened to me at our local school. great vid glad your back
good to have you back mate hope all is well...kids can do your head in sometimes but I'm sure we'd be the same at that age if someone had a beast like that on track..thinking of getting mugen/losi truggy as the kraton's gone up in price by 150 making it a 500 rtr and none about in the UK plus I've gt spare electrics for a kit...is the losi quality a big upgrade over arrma..
Great to see you back. Have you thought of doing a tekno brushless conversion on your 8ight-t and retaining the mechanical brakes & having a clutch? I did it on mine and it works great.
Great video's on your channel straight forward honest good reviews.seen the speed run you done on this was savage.this setup is exactly what im after next seems like it would be a good basher/speed runs but cant seem to find the truggy online to get near ireland
How does this compare in quality to the Tekno ET48.3? I am looking to go with something more expensive such as a kit where I do not need to tear it down and replace all the stock equipment.
Great channel!! Great videos!! Question for you. Which is the better buggy and which one would you choose; the Arrma Typhon or the Thunder Tiger Bushmaster 8e? Since you've been able to test both of them, I highly value your opinion. Thanks!!
Nice build, I’ve been looking to convert my old OFNA Jamin Truggy to electric, the 8ight Losi looks pretty similar, any idea if there is a conversion kit? Cheers!
I had a a couple Losi E truggies, both the 2.0 and 3.0 (OEM Electric). I have since moved to the Tekno ET48 truggies and they are significantly better, significantly stronger. I went from breaking every use (Losi) in a tough home made track environment to hardly breaking on the Tekno. Do yourself a favor try to obtain an ET48.3, cheers!
I haven't read the other comments yet but I'm hoping I'm not repeating somebody else when I say I would love to see a race wars with some of the other eighth scale trudges
I just bought a team associated rc8.2e with the hobbywing max 8, runs really well with 4s but 6s just seems to have no juice and brakes on its own when trying to give it some juice, any idea why?
How's the LVC? Does it slow down or shuts off when it its the set LVC voltage? I have a HK Beast ESC on mine and killed a LiPo because the LVC allows the car to keep running even after past the LVC voltage.
Vas, dont give up on fuel powered RC!! Get a decent nitro kit, a good motor from orion or novarossi and you will NOT be disappointed. Yes nitro fuel is expensive but you will have hours and hours of fun, just keep throwing more fuel in it, no charge times, receiver packs last about an hour each so have 2 or 3 of them fully charged and you got a running session so long you'll get bored before you run out of juice.
ABSOLUTELY! As you said; Even a 2nd hand is definitely worth it!
And I found that! Exactly as built up as you have there. With Max8 Combo.
With an 18-tier pignon. MADNESS! Certainly with 6S.

Dude, they're kids and you're jumping an awesome rc car. Of course they're gravitating towards you. Lol

Nice to see you again, Vas!!!
Glad to see you back vas
Awesome buggy. Hopefully one day we can run a 60 minute race with electric.
It will be soon👍. I got a buddy that raced 45mins on his 5th scale in Vegas maybe a year ago...
I have got to get me one of those and do the same thing you did sweet ride and fast 👍🏻
Great video's on your channel straight forward honest good reviews.seen the speed run you done on this was savage.this setup is exactly what im after next seems like it would be a good basher/speed runs but cant seem to find the truggy online to get near ireland
Good seeing back Vas, video 😎
Looks happier with the brushless
nicely done, it seems to run well.👍
Aussie you should do a review on the Kyosho Scorpion B-XXL VE man it looks like a sick buggy.
Nice to see you back! :D

Dont be sad brother. They probably went home, to trade their bikes for one of those. Mission accomplished

nice video! when i started to hear the clicking noise i got flashbacks from diffs on e revo on 6s lol
Nice vid.
Looks like it handles a lot like the Hobao hyper sste but probably will have better durability.
nice video 👌 that thing looks sweet
Nice build, I’ve been looking to convert my old OFNA Jamin Truggy to electric, the 8ight Losi looks pretty similar, any idea if there is a conversion kit? Cheers!
awesome truggy.i want one so bad!!
Very nice video!

And to not sound biased, for sure the Losi is a fine tuned "racing" machine, but just a little fragile on a couple of the components.
Have you done a conversion video Vas? Looks awesome.
Yay, welcome back
thanks. for your videos.
what a beast!
how does this seup with this motor/esc compare to the talion v3?
How does it handle compared to the Arrma Talion? I have the Arrma now and contemplating the Losi 8ight T-E.
I haven't read the other comments yet but I'm hoping I'm not repeating somebody else when I say I would love to see a race wars with some of the other eighth scale trudges
Hell yeah buddy 👍
Welcome BACK!👍✌🍻
Awesome vid!! Speaking of losi, have you ever considered getting their XXL 2-E monster truck?
I just bought a team associated rc8.2e with the hobbywing max 8, runs really well with 4s but 6s just seems to have no juice and brakes on its own when trying to give it some juice, any idea why?
How's the LVC? Does it slow down or shuts off when it its the set LVC voltage? I have a HK Beast ESC on mine and killed a LiPo because the LVC allows the car to keep running even after past the LVC voltage.
What type of battery connectors are you using and battery your using?
What type of battery connectors are you using and battery your using?
And batteries your using ?

I having a hard time trying to figure out which one I want arrma Typhon 2018 or the Losi 8 e
