Thank you so much Jason, this video is such a blessing, I started playing the double bass about a year ago, and i've fell in love with it, been playing with a couple of friends in the a chamber music band, and even though i'm not as experienced as them, they still help me out whenever i need guidence. There are some days where i don't feel like practicing, and this video alone, changed my mentality, so thank you so much for all of the work put into these videos. Whenever i put down my bass, i pick up my phone and watch one of your videos to motivate myself to continue practicing and presue my dreams of being a soloist in the future. Keep up the good work and thank you for everything.
Thank you so much jason for this video! Im a 17 year old bassist and i really wanna do this for a living but ive always felt like i haven't been making progress but this video gave me new confidence, thank you!
Hey Jason its me rj thank you so much for this video i just got a bass with an extension for middle school symphony that was really hard to get into and i proved more than half of my teachers wrong and thisngave me motovation i needed in fact im also playing with the charleston symphony bc mr christan invited me to he also said hello! thank you so much and keep up the good work
So nice Jason! The power of YES! You have to go for it. Music biz is a long & winding road. My advice when people ask about making music a profession is if there is anything else that you have interest to do as a job go for that. Being a freelance musician is not for the faint of heart. If music is your calling, what gets you up in the morning & keeps you ups at night then go for it-do your best and have a great time.
